"Interesting" Exclaims Emporious just as his detection spell expires. "Those Goggles seem to be a powered item as well. I will Identify them for you later as well, if you like."

Looking around the room he says, "Yes this must have been their "nest" if you will. Since nothing has attacked us here and the moss is withering, I'd say its safe to think we removed the remaining ones for now." On the way out he follows Orvok to the alcove. He is also curious about what lies within.

No! This was rigged to blow this place to trap something inside i bet! Please watch your step, a trip wire could end us all... Barbär says with the slightest fear

While beckoning them to come along Emporious says just before disapearing into the tunnel following Orvok, "Well stop standing around talking about it and come on then."  

"I'm with Barbär" Hino adds.  "Who the heck knows how old those explosives are.  I'd feel much more comfortable if Mav, sugar, disposed of them!  Then Master Orvok can play pyro with them after we've cleared outta here." 

As the group tries to decide what to do, Isa holds her breath and decides to pick up the remaining treasures that were in the rotting pile and sticks them in her pack.  Once they are put away in her pack, she tries her best to wipe her hands clean.  "Yuck..." she mutters.

"OK, I'm sick of this place.... can we start moving out or are we gonna blow this place?"

"Or, do Masters Barbär and Orvok wish to do their dwarfy duty and reopen the mine?  Maybe we could all go into business together?  Equal partners?  Fair and square?  I could serve as hostess with the mostess!" Hino adds with a sly grin.

Emporious hears none of the pairs conversation as he follows Orvok to the alcove.

The moss is withering away, as if whatever was fueling it is no longer providing. Strange how two things could be connected.

What do you think? Did we actually clear this mine? All this moss, i thought it withered in just the area that we fought the meenlocks, but it looks like that had affected the whole mine.

Orvok checks out the alcove, now, the moss has withered…

Yup. It's a cave. Stone walls. Dead moss. It's quiet.

Isa, starting to show her desire to leave the bad memory of the mine behind, makes a suggestion "Maybe we should just blow the dynamite and collapse this section of cave since it wasn't a normal part of the mine... beside, that would probably close any portal that might be in here."  she makes a bit of a twisted face "I could send a little spark to get things started..." she suggests. 

Hino adds "I'll leave that up to the dwarfriends...they're the experts at digging into holes..." with a snicker.  After a few moments to collect herself, she continues "Soooooo, what d'ya dwarves think?  Wanna re-open up this mine for our own business?  Or, blow it all to smithereens?" and then she pantomimes a huge explosion with her hands.

"I personally wouldn't know how to run a mine... besides, I think the villagers of Vermeillon would be interested in restarting the mine if they knew that it was safe again.  Let's go, we need to report back to the Avowed so that help us with the curse on Altus." Isa states as she looks at Emporious and then turns on her heals and starts heading out of the mine.

Im not a miner by trade, but id assume the land is still owned by the bloodlines of those of Vermillion. Whether they would want to keep it or not i think they should be notified at the end of this endeavor.

How ever. Id be remiss to not take a bit of the platinum or other ores found here. Barbär starts to relax a bit as he speaks, and the dwarf inside comes out as he takes a look around the cavern, checking the stone face of the walls, paying particular attention to any locations with heavy pick marks or even an exposed vein

Mav gets bored and goes around collecting all the dynamite from the pillars and puts it in a bag.

Surprised that the rest of the group is willing to pass up this business opportunity, Hino follows Barbär around, looking for some platinum ore to lay claim to.

Unfortunately, no platinum ore is sticking out obviously. Perhaps if you mined for a few days?

"Awwww shucks, Barbär...I'm just too distracted by your tooshie to find any platinum around here.  Let's get outta here, and head back to Candlekeep."

Oh yes. Im quite sick of this place. Back to Candle keep then? Barbär starts to lead the way on out
