Emporious explains to Edber in a low voice, "Sorry to disturb you. We were told that our accommodations for this evening were located down here. If you'll just point us in the right direction we'll get out of your way."
Archimedes preens quietly on the wizards shoulder.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ebder is sitting at the table, hunched over a book. "KsHshsHSSH!" he hushes you all. “Keep your voices down, please. I just put my daughter to bed.”
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know..." Isa whispers as she quietly places the stack of books down on the table where Barbar had made room. As she does, she gazes over to the book the Ebder is so engrossed in to see if she can catch anything about it like a title or anything for that matter, she''s just curious what's got Ebder's attention to the point of not even looking up at them.
Perception: 17
As she does, she accidentally knocks over the stack of books she just placed on the table and they go down with a terrible crashing sound to the floor. "I'm SOOOO SORRY!!" Her cheeks go red with embarrassment as she goes down to start picking up the mess she just created.
Ebder pinches the bridge of his nose for a very long time. "Oh, my Gods.."he mutters.
"Please, just.. these are not for me, but for our other guest, K’Tulah, who’s staying in one of the rooms below, in (AREA F13). Please deliver the books to her. Now. Thank youuu."
"I am SOOO SORRY!" she sheepishly replies as she gathers the rest of the books that she dropped and starts heading down to F13 where K'Tulah is. I'm such a clumsy idiot she thinks to herself as she is reminded of several incidents from her past that she would most rather forget.

There is some clinking of glass as Orvok makes his way down the stairs with a range of bottles cradled in his arms. ‘Slow down, dammit! I can only go so fast carrying our supplies…’
"We're about to find out," Emporious replies to Orvok. Turning to Edber he continues, "We don't mind assisting a bit Master Edber but we really would be away quicker if you showed us to our accommodations." Taking a step closer to the caretaker Emporious says, "I'll wait here for a bit while you two deliver those books."
"SHHH!"Ebder hisses. "I'll show you your rooms after the books are delivered."
No magic pings. Just books. K'Tula's room over at AREA F13 is furnished with a bed, a washbasin, and a writing desk. The desk has a tiny clockwork oyster resting on it. She's a tabaxi. "Oh! Are those for me?" she asks.
Hino tries to turn on the charm for K'Tula: "Hi there, honey, I'm Hino!" she offers her hand for a gentle but firm handshake. Smiling with her eyes, she continues, "We're new guests here! Pleased to meet ya! D'ya know anything about what's going on here? Why is the House of Rest so darn busy?"
"Oh! I arrived at Candlekeep six days ago and received permission to use the library to conduct my research on regional forms of folk magic! Isn't that exciting!"

"Oh, that does sound exciting... what kind of things have you found in your research?" she looks over at Hino and her performance and then back again "Oh, ignore her... she's harmless unless you get in a fight with her.... then watch out." she laughs a bit. Isa looks back at Hino "Hino, you do have a beautiful voice... not that I agree with your choice of lyrics, but a beautiful voice. indeed"

Emporious quietly mills about Ebder as he waits for the other three to return. He examines a few book titles taking note of any that might be worth a second look. Finding one particularly interesting, he gently slides it from its berth on the shelf. He stands there patiently perusing the tome.
"Folk magic, isn't that just a quaint way to reference Fae magic without sending people in to a panic over little green beings with pointy teeth trying to suck the dreams out of children?" And Mav flashes his toothy smile. "Fascinating..."

"Must be pea soup night. It's popular." K'Tula responds, taking the books. "Thanks for the books."
"You humanoids enjoy eating strange things. Peas? Sounds disgusting." Hino responds.

Hino attempts to sing a folk song that's right up her alley (Performance: 11):
If my lass was a boat
And I was the sea
I'd send her a wave
so that she could ride me...
Roll yer leg over
Roll yer leg over
Roll yer leg over
And sit on my face!
She'll then bow, and let out a laugh of joy!
Last to know and first to be blamed...
