Mayor Wester looks unsettled by the overt display of high-fiveness and tries to compose himself as he indicates towards the newly-arrived elf: "This is Stonelynn d'Helf, I have taken her into the town's employ to help us with our dragon problem. And this....this..."
He looks annoyed that nobody has appeared on his cue, coughs loudly and the door starts to open: "And THIS is Lhia Sabeuf, a dwarf of faith - he will provide battlefield respite for you"
Both the newcomers stand before you in awkward silence before Mayor Wester finally says: "Well go on then, introduce yourselves!"
"What? No, I'm Lhia Sabeouf" Says Lhia Sabeouf. "Oh you meant me, Lhia SaBeouf" He laughs. "Sorry Little confusing there." He looks around "Nice to meet everyone I'm Lhia SaBeouf, I've heard of me."
Lhia Sabeouf Stands before you, a unique looking Hill Dwarf, He looks familiar, but its difficult to place if you know him. Its clear to see he's ex military and as you start to process that. he speaks again. "I'm ex military, hill Dwarf Lhia Sabeouf"
He's almost upon you now, And you can see there's blood on his face, My god, there's blood everywhere!, He's brandishing a Warhammer (Its Lhia Sabeouf), Now he's sharpening a knife (Its Lhia Sabeouf).
He seems very, very very odd, but instantly likeable too. For some reason you cant explain you feel finally safe with Lhia Sabeouf.
Mayor Wester smiles awkwardly throughout Lhia's introduction, then looks over to Stonelynn expectantly. When the elf is not forthcoming with an introduction the mayor coughs to break the silence.
"Anyway...Butterskull ranch is a two day journey, so make sure you have ample supplies. From here you head north until you reach the Triboar Trail, then east until you reach the ruins of Conyberry. Just a few miles further east is Butterskull Ranch, you won't miss it"
(I assume everyone is ready to move on as indicated earlier, let me know OOC if you wish to make any purchases before leaving)
Mayor Wester's house is on the south side of town, the opposite direction to the Triboar Trail, so you have to take a detour in order for ThunderFist to kick the mayor's gate off its hinges. Rather awkwardly, the mayor is heading straight home from the Inn so he walks just a few yards behind you all the way. As you start to get closer to his house and ThunderFist builds some hamstring stretches into his strides, the mayor lets out involuntary whines. In the final run-up, as the barbarian breaks into a rolling jog, the whines turn into words as he pleads with the goliath "No no no no no!"
CRACK!
The latest gate flies across the garden, landing in three distinct pieces. A grown man weeps.

Once on the road, you head north for a couple of hours and reach the Triboar Trail, turning east to start the longest leg of your journey. The first day of travel passes without any encounters; the trail is very quiet thanks to the dragon's forays around the area driving away trade.
You are about halfway to Conyberry when it is time to make camp for the night.
(I need four guard shifts filled, so two can be doubled-up if needed. Please declare which number (out of four) you will take, then make a Perception roll)
Feeling proud of his handiwork; that being the destruction of the mayor's gate, Thunderfist walked with a spring in his step that he hadn't experienced since before they had visited the gnomes.
What's more, he didn't mind the newcomers, and he was pretty sure they were impressed by the light work he had made of the gate.
Even Cackie or the strange dwarf covered in blood couldn't dampen his mood.
It is about halfway into Lhia’s watch, and the rest of the party are asleep, when he hears the noise. It is a faraway cry, so far away as to sound like it is imagined. Then it sounds again, nearer, up in the air...then a thump – no, a crack. Like leathery sails snapping in the breeze. But the noise comes in a rhythm, like a pattern...like an animal beating his wings.
Lhia is so alert that he has time to wake and rouse the rest of the party before the source of the noise arrives, but only just. A huge, white scaled monster drops from the sky and swoops towards you, just 30ft off the ground. As it gets closer you realise with horror that the white dragon which has been terrorising the area has decided to make you its evening snack.

lhia SaBeouf shouts “Dooooooo itttttt!!!!” And casts aid on the three most beautiful (DMs opinion) adventurers
Your spell bolsters your allies with toughness and resolve. Choose up to three creatures within range. Each target's hit point maximum and current hit points increase by 5 for the duration.
Cackie remembers that he still has an old manky carrot cake in his pocket from a previous quest. It had gone pretty hard by now, surely hard enough to cause some damage to a wing. He climbs the nearby tree to reduce the distance and launches the cake towards the fancy bird.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elfa springs into action, the dragon came across as unassailable however Elfa knew everything had a weakness.
"fear not fellow friends, I got this" Elfa then winked at the rest of the gang and starts to cast her suggestion spell.
Elfa closes her eyes and takes a majestic stance facing the dragon, she wishes to freeze in the spot it's in and have no intention of opening it's huge, strong mouth.
Stonelynn stumbles into the clearing. There are twigs in her hair and she looks uncharacteristically dishevelled. She mumbles something about a very distracting bard back in Phandalin and declares her initiative as 12.
She whirls into action and pulls her shortbow from its holster. Taking careful aim she fires at the visibly irritated dragon...

Thunderfist walked into town to find some healing potions, stopping by mayor westers house to boot the gate off its hinges on the way.
Lei-Tana joins in the high five!
She still feels bad about the last mission, so hopes this next one goes better...
"I have no other business in town, so happy to move on when everyone else is ready!"
