Quill moves into the shadows signaling his friends to do the same then whispers to them, "Do we wait for night or attempt to enter in the brightness of day? We can stake out the house during the day and see if anyone comes or goes. Then in the early evening I can creep up to the house and see what I can find before we enter. Then again creatures might start leaving at night and we might have to split up to follow where those creatures go....Hmmmm.....So yea a few of us go to the front door and myself an whoever else will go to one of the far windows and enter at the same time?"
Bjorn, smirking at the possible suggestions will grab his weapon and hold it out in front of him. "I'm not one for sneaking. I'm more of a smash and grab kinda Dwarf, however, if you believe that the later is a better approach, I will go with that. Just know that I do not sneak, so I'll be entering through the front."
Josias makes his way back to the group. "Unless someone little wants to go through a window we're all going through the front door. My guess would be that they know we're out here, doesn't make much sense to not have someone looking through a window at least to keep watch. I say we either try to deceive them a bit or just bust down the door. And the longer we wait the further ahead that elf lady gets and the closer we are to losing our payday."

“I couldn’t agree more with Josias if I tried, besides, according to Firemark himself, Ms. Cirramid is the best blasting powder maker in his facility, ergo of the whole Empire.” The question was how much he could produce. Enough to fill the Vox Seekers and allow the implant of explosives in the kobolds, at the very least. “The presence of the kobolds there indicates that she is allied with Stahlmast and we know what he can do with the powder. Put Zabriss together in the equation and the more time we take the higher chances are that Hupperdook’s technology fall in the hands of the Dynasty. From now on we should only choose an option that takes more time if we don’t have other choice.”
If there was still time to make anything about the explosives and the goliath. You stay here and tell me if anyone comes in the direction of the house, he commands Hans through telepathy.
“That said, if we are going to enter, we need do discuss a marching order.”By saying that he looked at Ambre. Her silence all too strange for him. “Given my way of battle I would do better staying at the very back. And melee folk, remember the lizards explode after death.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"OK, then lets do this, want me to lead an open the door in case it is locked? Then at least we might get a little bit of a surprise on them." Quill says.
If all in agreement Quill will approach the door and check to see if it is trapped and locked and then will proceed to open it.
The door is, indeed, locked, but with Quill's keen abilities, it is easy enough to pick the lock. There are no traps. Light funnels in from the open doorway, revealing the interior of the house. A single candle gutters on a shelf near the back of the room, and you can see another table near the back has been broken. A chair is overturned at a dining table, and to your left is a small kitchenette.
As Josias begins to storm in, there are some yelps within the house as four small, scaly creatures flinch in the face of the sunlight. They draw daggers and prepare to defend themselves!
"What's going on?" Ambre asks as she steps up to follow Josias into the building. Upon seeing the scaly creature, she asks the first thing on her mind, "You don't look like a gnome... what are you doing in here?"
While waiting for the answer, she unclips a small coil from her belt and uncoils a thin chain that she holds in both hands as she watches the shadows.
Action: Ready a whip attack if anything approaches to attack her.
Josias decides to be a bit more hostile and holds up a hand. A blast of redish energy flies out towards one of the kobolds. (Map in Roll20 just shows me Hupperdook so can't tell which) Eldritch Blast
Attack: 4 Damage: 4

The first thing he noticed as Quill got the door open was the state inside of the house. A broken table, a chair overturned. Those were signs of struggle and that made no sense. Nima was working with Stahlmast and leaving any clue of a fighting happening would only serve to attract the eye of the Empire over them. Maybe the kobolds are just that messy, Fritz considered for the briefest of moments before deciding the hypothesis had too much of wishful thinking. No, there was another answer, far more simple - Nima didn’t had a partnership with Stahlmast, she was taken from her home and forced to make him blasting powder.
“Ignis!”He said raising his right hand and centering arcane energy on the lilac shard in his palm. The crystal flared up and the wizard hurled the moat of fire on the enemy closest to him.
That changes everything, Fritz reflected. For starters, Cirramid couldn’t have been leashed to Huron long enough to make much blasting powder or train anyone on making it. There was even the chance that the manufacture method was not given to the Dynasty. Saving the gnome would also put them closer of finding Zabriss. And I owe her an apology, he had to admit.
Notes:
Fritz keeps himself positioned at the very back of the party.
Fritz casts Fire Bolt on the enemy closest to him. Rolls:
Ambre readies her whip as Josias fires a crackling bolt of eldritch energy at the nearest kobold - it misses, but its desperate dodge drives it right into the oncoming path of Fritz's firebolt! The creature lets out a yelp as it is slain by the cantrip, and a familiar ticking noise begins to emit from its body.
It is now Finn's turn!
(Apologies about the map - you should all be able to see it now!)
Finn stays a bit back from the door, not yet ready to fully engage their foes.
He'll use emboldening bond on Fritz and Quill. (While any bonded creature is within 30ft of another, once per turn you can add a d4 to attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.)
The remaining kobolds leap out, throwing open the windows and taking aim with hand crossbows at Fritz, Ambre, and Josias! Ambre cracks her whip before one of them can get off a shot!
Ambre misses her strike, and a flurry of crossbow bolts snap out at their targets - Ambre and Josias are both struck by the painful sting of the kobold's weapons, but cling to consciousness, but Fritz snaps out a barrier of arcane energy to protect himself. The bolt shatters against the defensive spell!
(@DM, I would like to use Fritz's reaction to cast the Shield spell. Since Fritz is with Mage Armor on his AC is 15, with the spell 20, the attack on him would miss.)
Quill runs down the kobold without hesitation, thrusting his blade into its body. It strikes something hard strapped to the kobold's back, followed by a concussive rush of sound and a burst of flame. The creature's body is immediately incinerated, and Quill and the kobold next to the one the tabaxi just killed are engulfed in the blast.
Quill save: 18
Kobold 2 save: 6
Explosion damage: 5
Both of the targets of the collateral damage avoid the brunt of the explosion, but the same cannot be said for the nearby furniture. Splinters of wood and burning cinders flash across the room, leaving this place even messier than it was before.
((Here is what I want to do.. if it's not possible just let me know and I'll take a different action.))
Bjorn grins and takes a deep breath. "Man I missed this." He says under his breath before charging into the building with a loud yell. ((Raging)) Without stopping, he locks onto the Kobold in the southern part of the room (K3) and charges at them like a train, attempting to hit them so hard they fly through the wall it's standing by. ((Let me know what rolls are needed if I can do this.))
