Let’s go ahead and retained that wyvern now, really the same as a normal one just immune to poison and psychic damage and is undead.

I believe the wyvern goes before Vaden then. At least that is how we were runningn it the last time it was up.

  As i have been posting a map, if you would look at it you would know positions... The Wyvern is 125 feet from the gnome. you can reach them, you simply cannot attack if you do so. I.E. it will take your Dash action to get there. As your attack misses, it doesn't matter overly much.

 I think they're just able to reach Peren, though (ten foot range attacks). 

Vaden, finding the SW corner of the arena a bit uninviting, moves so he is closer to the wyvern and the wizard both, not leaving anyone's reach, and casts a spell...

thunder step

The gnome and wyvern both need to make a DC 19 Con save for half damage, otherwise take 16 thunder damage.

Vaden appears 90 feet North, and moves further north with his movement.

I believe it is the gnome's turn now... Here is the map again.
