Name: Orifrac Strongbane Race: Mountain dwarf Class: Barbarian; path of the beast. Backstory:
Orifrac comes from one of the barbarian mountain tribes, where he was raised by his parents to be a stoneworker. He mastered the craft well, and soon become one of the better stoneworkers in his clan. However, he wanted more in life than just staying at his clan working stones; so after some time he left his clan to travel. Not long after he came upon the quarries of Red Larch. He never worked with Marble before so he found this to be an interesting next stop. for the next year he worked as an apprentice at one of the Marble master's of Red larch, and since a couple of months he is working on his own. Making statues from the marble and bringing them to some of the wealthy in both Waterdeep and Neverwinter. On his last job he heard about the druids that went missing, and when asked to help investigate, as he knows the area well, he didn't hesitate. The same fire that made him leave his clan lit up once again pushing him into this adventure.

Dungeon Master: Killing your charcters since 1974
Timeless, Boundless, Ruler of The Spire of Creation
I was born too a kind woman named Zao Yuey and a fire dinji. I was the eldest, and later 3 sibling came, each to a different father. one an air dinji, one a water, and the other an earth. Zao Yuey died later, and me and my siblings were adopted by a kind family of fewwild hobgoblin. they taught us the ideals of hobgoblin society, and we learned much. eventually, the feywild became too much for us, and we struck our own way in the world.
I became bored often, and eventually turned to a life of crime. later, while stealing a piece of artwork, I heard a group of scholars talking of types of magic music. I dropped the painting, and ran over to them. they started teaching me, and soon music was the joy of my life.
however, I later got word that an assassin killed my earth genasi brother! I was filled with anger, and the focused many years to learning the trade of the assassins, to be able to get back at the assassin. since then, I have been traveling the globe, looking for this assassin.

alignment: chaotic neutral.
RP experience: medium. I mainly DM, and my players aren't super into role playing, but I've had some role play experience writing stories/books, although it's a bit different.

Backstory:
Bernie Glenfellow was fairly young when he joined the military for his respected kingdom. His first battle, he was captured by triton forces and endured months of torture, starvation and thirst. During this time, he started to hear strange voices and started to believe he was hallucinating. When the triton camp was raided, Bernie quickly took this chance to escape amidst the chaos and leaped into the sea to escape such a dangerous battlefield. Attempting to swim along the shoreline to safety, the poor halfling was engulfed by a giant fish. (I swear I rolled this in the 'THIS IS YOUR LIFE' LOL)
For an entire month, Bernie lived inside this giant fish, feeding upon it's scraps and each day struggling not to drown. Again, the voices and entities started to speak to Bernie, and he started talking back, now starting to believe this isn't a form of madness. Finally rescued by daring fishermen, Bernie thanked them and casually headed to shore and headed off to seek the druids of the forests, whom he can hope can figure out the voices in his head that seem to be there to help him survive such extreme situations.

Name: Zarya Darkholme
Race: Half-elf
Class: Warlock
Background: Crminal/Spy
Backstory: Zarya never knew her origins but that never mattered to her. The Zhentarim was always her family and even when they brought her up to be a ruthless spy for the Black network she reckoned they had to do what they did in order to survive in an unforgiving world. Given a strict regimen and training in the arts of information gathering and eldritch magics within the confines of Zhentil keep she was at her 21st year set loose on Farûn and given several assignments collecting information along the Sword coast. She quickly became a reliable agent for the network given more important missions by the week and developed a close relationship with her raven/imp familiar Orloth making a joint effort to rise through ranks. Recently several caravans of the Black network have been attacked and trade disrupted in the Dessarin valley and Zarya was given an assignment taking her to the town of Red Larch to stabilize trade in the region no matter the cost. She realizes she would need to recruit unknowing parties to help her accomplish this task.
Having grown up in a place most of the Clueless, here on the Material Plane, don't even know exists, Vaden is not the run-of-the-mill traveler. He is from The City of Doors, known as Sigil, where his family has lived for many generations. He does not expect to find many Primes that would know of his home, as The Cage is well beyond the knowledge of all but the most specialized of scholars or the more powerful wizards. His family is of the elite of Sigil, having a palacial mansion in the Lady's Ward. With nearly limitless time, a decent stipen from his family, and a pension for history, Vaden has become something of a collector. He has studied the Material Plane's history, and enjoys seeking out rare or exotic items to add to his collection from there. He uses his family's spies, information brokers, and even diviners, to locate an item of interest, then he travels there himself to see if he can aquire it.
I would see Vaden in the area seeking after some item of interest, does not have to be magical, just exotic or unique. He could easily become embroiled in the afairs of this module from that point.
Class: Rogue (Will go Arcanre Trickster, but only if someone content shares. If not, i'll change backstory)
Personality: Not comfortable with hard work , or well, any work, Tallion expects everyone to just do what he says, no questions. Though, when he finally buckle up, he is actually not that much of a wimp
Backstory:
Tallion was a noble, but, he hated it. The food, the fine clothes, everything was just too easy. He wanted a challenge, something hard. One day, he sneaked out of the castle where he lived to become an adventurer. Though, he knew nothing about the real life, so he just expected everyone to obey him, and everything to come easily. Therefore, he had a hard time. Then, one day he found a wizard's book that be stole with pure luck, and from there on, well, life was easier.

Backstory: Horakus is a Tortle from Chult, where he trained in the ways of monkhood, learning peace over violence. He has made his way to Faerun on the mission to just live out his life in peace, which, unfortunately for him, he has never been able to find. Whether on the fault of his own or not, he seems to always find himself in fights or situations that require him to break from his vows. Fight after fight has worn on him and has caused him to have a very weak connection with the vows he once held so dear. In an effort to hold onto some sort of hope, he has taken up helping others in need, where he was called upon to head to Red Larch to see what is going on in the town.

Backstory: Siltis Kerosyth was a soldier in the undersea armies of the Tritons defending the world from the evils of Elemental Water. When earth-aligned sorceries started to develop in him, it was decided he should go on to land to learn to control these new powers. Being a stranger appearing seemingly from nowhere, wielding weapon and magic, and with quite uncommon looks too, he was soon approached by the Order of the Gauntlet. They came asking for his origins and intentions, and seeing they too were steadfast defenders of the people, he was fast to give them. Both sides saw a kindred spirit in the other, and Siltis ended up starting to work with them. This turned out to be a good idea, as the paladins of the order seemed to have similar magics to some of his own, even if they learned them a bit differently. Some time after, word came of a delegation on their way to Red Larch mysteriously disappearing. The order didn't really have anyone free to send to investigate the matter, but as Siltis wasn't truly a member yet, it was decided he would go.
Forgotten realms faction: Associated with the Order of the Gauntlet.

Backstory: Bux is a tall owlfolk hailing from Neverwinter Wood. He spent his youth hunting prey, both with his talons and his bow. His tie to the forest led him to train under the legendary hunter Chazrael Teadrinker where he learned investigation skills and a passion for caring for people. During his first adventure, he met a goblin girl named Spice, who was seeking revenge for her murdered brother. The culprit was a blacksmith who went by the handle "The Braizer Killer." Bux and Chazrael helped Spice track the killer to a warehouse in Neverwinter and a battle ensued. The Brazier's creation, a stone golem, nearly killed Bux as he escaped. Bux was upset he failed his friend, but Spice assured him she appreciated his effort. When she left for her home in Cormyr, Bux promised her he would find the killer. One evening, Chazrael sent Bux a tip regarding a disappearance in Red Larch. Chazrael said he'd go, but he was going to visit Daggerdale and asked Bux to go. Eager for this new task, Bux took his bow and made the journey to Red Larch.

I have been playing D&D since its inception, started Pbemail long, long ago in the Land of the Midnight Sun and have only recently discovered DnDBeyond. Love it. I enjoy playing all types of characters but, one of my favorite, was a crazy Paladin; at one point in the game, was via email, he leaped over a wall onto a Basilisk and started whaling away at its head with a frying pan, which still had his eggs he was cooking for breakfast in it. Fortunately for him he managed to land astride the things neck just behind its head and it couldn't look at him. What a ride! I generally post every day, from the west coast, sometimes twice a day if things are going hot. My post usually are more than, 'Grunk swings big stick, thud,' I like to be sneaky and try to be cunning; though sometimes that results in my character being hoisted by his own petard. But, what the heck, life is suppose to be a learning experience and that applies to fictitious folk, too.
Anyway, I am always looking to have fun with others who enjoy the game as I do.
