As you and your light source are moving south, there's a flickering light coming from the east, but the shape of the cave and its tunnels prevents you seeing unless you get closer.
Mr. Fists, you see to the east a number of bedrolls arranged around a flickering fire that is still alive but seems to have been left for quite some time. Chicken bones, empty wine and spirits bottles, and other food waste litters the floor. You would need to enter with a light source to see more.
Verdan follows the group forward, keeping half an eye on the small pond in the corner of the cavern, still not entirely trusting of the water after the encounter with the frogs.
As you head in further, you see more clearly that there are two ways forward; one seems to lead back towards the first cave, and the other to the right leads on to somewhere new. All you see in the camp area are the dwindling campfire, the bedrolls and the various discarded bottles and other rubbish.
Stepping up to the fire doesn't reveal anything that you haven't seen before. Anyone who wishes to can make a Perception check to search through the camp area. You still see the two tunnels to the north, one leading straight north and the other more to the northeast; you can just about see what you think might be another pool of water in that direction.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
See, Sunshine is about as nosy as you could expect her to be. So she picks her way across the camp area, looking around to see what's what. Avoiding thinking about what may lay ahead of them because, wow, she's not looking forward to another fight.
Sunshine, you take a look around the campsite, inspecting the bedrolls and the junk. You notice two things of interest: one is an unopened bottle of Bald Dwarf Whisky, which you think would be worth about 25 gold pieces. The other is that one of the bedrolls is fake; as you're stepping near it there's just something about it, somehow stretched too tight for something lying on the ground. You prod it, and it collapses into a pit; this was clearly a trap for less observant intruders.
A squeak escapes her as the bedroll collapses into the pit, and Sunshine jumps back a bit. Then she clears her throat and collects herself, looking back at the others. "So, uh, we're gonna wanna watch for traps, apparently." As she carefully makes her way out of the bedrolls and such, she definitely scoops up the whiskey. She's gonna need this before the day's done, she can already tell.
"Yes it does seem that way. Now that one of them ran it is only more likely that they have some sort of plan taking form." Nalla mutters as she continues to focus on keeping the Mage Hand moving to provide as much light as possible.
“Yeah, let’s keep goin’,” Sunshine says. She looks ahead at the paths in front of them and frowns. “Uh, maybe we do the one without the water first? Just in case there’s more frogs - don’t wanna disturb ‘em or anythin’.”
"Then we might expect more of those frogs. They are not hard to fight but still rather irritating." The Goliath said as she began to redirect her Mage Hand towards the water.
Nalla, you see another cave ahead. Water dripping down from stalactites in the ceiling fills a dark pool that completely covers the floor of the cavern. The water looks very cold, like the pool in the first room. Make a Perception check.

Mr. Fists will move closer to the flickering light.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Mr. Fists tiptoed back to the others. "Found old camp," he says.

Nalla will continue to move closer, keeping the torch out far enough to still provide vision to those that need it like herself.

Telias glances over at the squeak. "Seems our foes were already expecting trouble before we arrived. They must not have many friends."

"Far more bedrolls than foes we've so far encountered as well." Verdan intones, "Likely more conflict coming..."
