"If it's just the one?" Sunshine gives him a little shrug. "Yeah, let's press on. If they're grumpy, we can take 'em. Sides, I ain't waitin' round here any longer than absolutely necessary."
You continue, and the other person gets closer. Soon you can see that this is a human woman in her thirties, and that her cloak looks finely made and rather expensive. She sees you approach, calls out "Hello!" but continues on her way.
"We really do not have time to stop. The longer we take to arrive the more ill the sisters become." Nalla says as she gives the woman a wave back in return but also continues on their path.
The woman nods, but otherwise continues on her way. Nalla, you hear a gruff "Thank you" from the bundle of furs that you think is Tulgi, but it then stomps away from you. You make camp in the evening, and wake rested in the morning. You are now well over a hundred miles from where you started.
On day seven, you continue your journey. Can the first player to read this please make a d20 roll for encounters on your seventh day of travel, and if the result is seventeen or higher, give me a d6 and a Perception check as well.
The day passes without further encounters, and the night is quiet.
On the eighth day of your travel, you begin to look for signs of Salsvault. You see a pair of mountains off in the distance, which match the descriptions you were given by Orvo, and you begin to look for signs of your destination.
Can the first two to read this give me a Perception check each.
You walk on and on, as the wind rises and the biting cold becomes even more severe. The mountains are looming larger too, and you begin to feel that you've perhaps missed your destination, so you double back. Eventually you think you see it: Through wind-whipped snow, you notice a half-submerged, dark-blue stone building poking up through the ice, matching Orvo's description. A gray stone door is carved to look like a face with a half-exposed skull. Scribed above the door is the word “SALSVAULT.”
A snicker leaves Sunshine upon hearing Verdan, but her amusement fades quickly in the wake of the building in front of them. She takes a few steps tentatively closer, studying the door. "Well, maybe it's just meant as a fear tactic thing. Like, y'know, super scary outside to scare people off and not so scary inside?" she says, looking over her shoulder at the others. "But, yeah... I'm not touchin' this thing first."
Nalla, you complete your ritual. The rest of the party waits patiently for ten minutes. :)
As you complete the spell, you look at the door. Nothing. No magic on it at all. But... there's something nearby. You can't see it or sense the school of magic, but it's not coming from your comrades.
"No magic off of the door so we should be OK to enter." Nalla said as she got up, moving to gather the material from the ritual. For now she made no mention of the magic from the party, instead moving back and summoning up her Mage Hand to poke at the door a bit.

"Well that isn't ominous at all..." Verdan opines, "Shocking that a deadly disease would originate from such a welcoming place."

Nalla will move to begin a ritual for Detect Magic around the door, setting things up and sitting down once she was ready.
Nalla, the ritual begins, but will take ten minutes.
What is everyone else doing meanwhile? Or will you wait for Nalla to finish?
Telias is more than happy to wait and see before touching more things.

Nalla, the door seems quite firmly closed. It doesn't shift when your mage hand pokes at it.
Nalla allows the Mage Hand to fade away as she then moves to check the door for traps before she will attempt to open it.
Investigation: 18
Nalla, you find no traps. The door is jammed, but might be forced open. Make a STR check.
Anyone who wishes to assist and join Nalla can also make a STR check separately, or give her advantage.
