Misha, for giggles, approached Daetris. Her plate boots and heavy steps gave it away she was behind her. She wasn't looking to sneak up on her anyways.
"You. Daetris, was eet? You seem annoyed. Tell Meesha your concerns."
The man shrugs, looking up to try to judge the time of day. "I dunno. Maybe a couple of hours ago. We took them through the gates and out the other side before making our way back into town and trying out the liquid. We've been on the run since then." He hugs his wife, relief on both their faces. "I would assume they would be heading back toward the Norns. That's about a four-day journey from here."
Daetris doesn't bother looking over her shoulder, hearing someone come up behind her. Her shoulders do tense up visibly at the approach, though. "Yeah, it's Daetris," she says. "Since Ada keeps going around and telling everyone our names."
She argues with herself for a long moment. Then she lifts a single shoulder in a shrug. "Just hate being mind-whammied. Happened once or twice before. Not a fan." She waves a hand at the street. "Figure someone needs to watch our backs, anyway, so I'll keep back here and do that."
"I would assume they would be heading back toward the Norns. That's about a four-day journey from here."
Ada listens carefully to the couple "So, it looks like you used all of it?" she inquires as she looks at the empty vial in the woman's hands. "We are not familiar with these parts, which way are the Norns? Any help you can give us in finding them would be most appreciated."

Agata finishes her tune with one long last note, then bows with a flourish of her coat to the crowd. Accepting the coins, the tucks them away with an exaggerated manner, playing up to the crowd. Bowing once more as people disperse, she turns and begins to make her way after the group, ducking behind a stall out of view. Walking out the other side however is a short woman whose features resembles Barkas, Dwarven and dressed in simple but sturdy work clothes with a luxurious ginger beard - no bagpipes in sight. She trundles her way through the street until she reaches the alleyway - slipping in and nods at the three by the entryway. To those who have been travelling with her previously - she is recognisable enough in mannerisms and tone of voice.
"Everyone alright?" She looks to Daetris, and says "That was a bit intense, wasn't it?"

Waving a hand at the other corner of the alley opposite her, Daetris tells Misha, "The more the merrier, I suppose. Though you might be best suited for keeping the rest of the group together and whole back there. Moved pretty swiftly into that crowd to get the others out."
She blinks a bit at the shorter woman approaching, hand going for her weapon. But it only takes her a few moments before she puts things together and relaxes. "Everyone's fine, Agata. All back there chatting." She jerks a thumb over her shoulder towards the others. "Nice work with the music."
Kel listens as Ada and the couple talk back and forth. "Do the Khaasta travel regularly through this town? Do you know if they trade here as well?" He asks at a break in the conversation.

"As you weesh."And Misha turns heel and walks away to rejoin the others.
Barkas is standing with Kel, asks the man and woman “Do you still have any of the liquid that the Khaasta gave you? I would like to examine it if possible. What did you give them for it? Did anyone else purchase it?”
The man shakes his head, "No, the Khaasta typically keep to themselves. They're not the friendliest of folk. Most around here would rather they not make their way into town, which is why they bartered with us to cover their passage through here." The man doesn't believe the Khaasta made deals with anyone else as they encountered the caravan outside of town and used its cover to get through town before going about their way. "As for the liquid," he hands the bottle forward, "they told us to use it all or it wouldn't work."

The man looks to Ada and Barkas, who appear to have stopped their dogged attempts to get to the couple. "It appears to have worn off. At this point,"he looks to his wife, "I think we just want to get home." He clutches his wife's hand and moves to leave. "Thank you."

Barkas interjects “Can I have the vial that you consumed to cause this effect?” If he obtains it, sniffs it and makes observations about it, sees if there is any tiny drop left to taste and discern what this could be. Also looks to see if there are any markings on the vial.

Ada looks at Barkas as he inspects the vial “Anything??” Seeing the confused look on his face after tasting it, she holds out her hand “here, let me have a look at it.” After he passes her the vial, she inspects the viscosity of any liquid left, smells it carefully and will even stick a finger into the vial to get the last drip on a finger to inspect it closer.
