Ivellios really confused about the situation one Lari is talking to a bear and the other is a kobolds turning into a steeder. "What have I gotten myself into."  Shaking his head he would like to find a spot to sit so he can process the situation.

Byg’wigg waves over to Ivellios as if to ask if he wants over too

The bear looks thoguthful for a second, before shaking its head.

"No I can't.My ma made me like this so I wouldn't get hurt. I can only talk to you cause you're the one I chose and that makes you special. I'm glad you found the glass otherwise you'd never see me."

Spid’wigg shrugs and examines the pillars, do they seem to correspond with the door in any way?

"Who is your mother? Do you live here? I liked your butterflies." Lari sits on the ground to be closer to the bear's eye level.

"Thank you. The dream sand always brings out the nicest thoughts. My ma's name is Ursal. She's like me but a lot bigger and she watches over the dream sand with Uncle Aries."

The bear plops down as well.

Spid'wygg: The pillars a have different carvings, the one your far left has the carving a large half man-half cow on it, next to it is a is a dwarven woman and child both over-layed with images of a mother bear and a cub, the third is a woman with a long serpentine body the curls around the pillar. The final pillar is a little weird. You can see that there was a former image carved into it like the last ones but it has been violently scratched away. Looking around the back of the pillar you can see that there is a skull that has been carved quite sloppily into the stone.  

OOC: Does it look like the pillars can be moved?

OOC: Also, for convenience, I’ll post the other side here: “The four pillars are fairly small, only coming up about waist height. They are made of simple stone and carved to have very elegant images of people on them. The first one on the left is a man holding a small child in his arms;smiling brightly, the second one is a dwarven man overlapped by the image of a bear, the third one has a family of kobolds enjoying a meal on it, and the final one on the right is a beautiful human woman playing a harp. Each post has several ruins that have been meticulously carved into them.” Now we can compare...

OOC: No they don't move when pushed, but when touching them you find a small button near the top.

Spid’wigg spider pokes the button on the serpent lady and crawls back over to press the button on the harp lady. Anything happen?

"Where are your mother and uncle? What about your dad?" Lari casts minor illusion and creates an image of the bear snuggled up a bigger version of it.

Spid'wygg presses the two buttons but nothing happens.

"Uncle Aries went to fight the people who came through the lower rooms. He's a really good fighter! But they must be really strong cause ma went to go help him. I wanted to go too but ma caught me sneaking up here. I guess she was real mad at me because she made me like this and left me in these rooms." Urso looks at the pictures made with minor illusion for a second.

"Pa? I don't know where he is. Pa went to town one day and never came back. Then me and ma got chased out of our old home and we hid in a cave. Thats when Miss Lady found me and mom and she brought us here."

OOC: Oh... I think I realized the first button. But Byg’wigg doesn’t know because he doesn’t see that bear. I think one of the first buttons is either the man with the baby, or the mom with the kid. Leaning man.

"We can help your mom and uncle fight the people." Lari changes the illusion to look like the 4 companions standing on top of a pile of monsters. "The problem is, we don't really know our way around here."

"That's not surprising. This place shifts all the time so even I get lost some time. I'd like to help but ma made it impossible to touch things when she turned me into this form, so I can't open the door."  To prove this the bear reaches out to touch your hand and its paw phases through you instead leaving a lingering feeling of warmth.

"Can you tell us how to open the door? Also, do you know what is down the other tunnel from the big cave near where we first met?" (OOC: The right tunnel from right down the steps from where we met Aurora.)

"The other tunnel? Oh that leads to the Sand Pits and the Grinder. That's were the Sandmen live, I don't like to go down there. The Sandmen are boring. All work and no play, they just move their stones all day." The bear huffs and scratches his ear.

"To open the door you just have to press the buttons in order." The bear gets up and walks over to the man/bear post and gestures at it.

"This is the first one. You need to press the matching one on the other side an you gotta hurry cause their on a timer. There was a riddle but- um- I don't really remember it. I know this one is my pa 's button and the other has me and mom on it. Then there was something about being mistaken for something? Beauty tamed the beast? No. Wait. Is that right?" He sits there lost in thought, looking very frustrated.

OOC: Knew it!

"Thanks, Urso. You've been a great help. Do these sandmen like visitots?"

The bear shrugs.

"I don't think the mind really. They just move the big rocks all day. The shaking might have scared them, though, like all the others."
