Lari pulls up the hood of his cloak and tries to meld with the shadows around him. Stealth: 17.

(I've been less active recently because my phone ran out of high speed data and it takes about 10 minutes to refresh my browser. It also doesn't always work. I'll be at high speed again in 2 days. No wifi makes me sad).

OOC: Sorry. Got you two confused.

It take a few minutes, Quintoc nearly trips but is able to catch himself before he hits the ground and make a lot of noise. Rosie leads you through a short but twisting path through the caves. At one point you pass over a small natural bridged and at the bottom you see the sleeping form of a large furred creature. A few more minutes of sneaking and you finally emerge from the cave. Before is a wide open field and filled with flowers as far as your eyes. Bright colors of yellows, pinks, blues, purples, almost every color is present here. The sun shines bright here, warm and comforting. The aura of this place is the complete opposite of what you all felt at the river before. You feel safe here. Rosie lets out a soft gasp before she runs forward, stopping before the flowers start.

"It's so pretty." She turns and gives the group a small but very sincere smile.

"Now we just need to find the right flower and mom can get better."

Byg’wigg begins sniffing around. Would he know anything about the flower? Or at least the surrounding flowers?

"What does this flower look like again young Rosie?" Ivellios beginning to stand guard with his halberd.

Rosie opens up her book again and shows you all the picture of Palor's Light, it is bright yellow flower with large thin petals, the inside resembles a red star.

"This is it. It should be really easy to find. It only grows by itself near the edge of the field."

Lari finds the highest area he can and quietly stands watch with his bow at the ready. He obviously doesn't trust the peace in this place to last.

Byg'wygg in all your time on this planet you've never seen flowers like these ones before. They vaguely resemble flowers you've seen in passing, some sharing a few traits with others, but nothing concrete enough that you can use to tell their species. All-in-all these seem very alien to you.

Byg'wygg's search reveals nothing.

Quintoc, these sure do look like flowers, very pretty ones too.  Every time you go to pick up a flower to examine it, your feel your all pulled slightly to the side, plucking up a different one that you realize yes this is the correct one, as a faint wave of divine energy seems to fill you. You walk through the fields collecting several more yellow flowers in the same fashion. You'd reach down to pick one up, feel your arm move on its own and realize that oh that wasn't the right one this one is, how silly of me.

You here Rosie cheer in the distance. "I found some!"

Rosie finds 2 flowers. Quintoc finds 3. Byg'wygg finds 0. Lari finds 0.

"Well will that be enough? I suggest we rest here for a while unless your mother's situation is critical..." Ivellios suggest taking a long rest before heading back into the owlbear cave and facing the Reignsmen again.

Rosie looks over the flowers, then back to the fields. The daylight has slowly begun to fade into twilight as evening comes around.

"Maybe. I don't really now how much is used for medicine. But more is better right, maybe I should look for a few more. I'll be right back." Rosie runs back off to the field.

As you sit to rest, Ivellios you feel a familiar tugging begin to pull at you, much like the pull you felt when you first entered the dream Rift. The party watches as image of Rosie and the flower fields fades, and you fall into darkness once more.  Then each of you come to son a hard stone floor. The walls of books show that you have been returned the library, not in the same room you left. Instead you are in a small circular room, laying of a set of stairs that lead up to a large globe. The golden book lays next to Ivellios, no longer shining with magical energy. There are 4 exits to the room, all blocked off by some kind magical barrier. Looking around you realize that sitting on the globe is Sandbaby, looking nervous as always.

"Your back!" It cries, and flutters back onto Byg'wygg's shoulders.

Byg’wigg grabs Sandbaby and starts dancing in a circle, “Byg’wigg is back! Haha! Byg’wigg no have to watch child endure death of mother! Hurray!”

OOC: Neat (terrifying) picture! I pictured something like this thing. Coulda swore they were made of wood. Maybe I’m crazy.

Lari looks around as Byg'wigg reunites with his baby. "That's it? Do you think any of that was real? Do you think we actually helped?"

"Who knows what's real anymore?" Quintoc muses. "It all seemed very real. Those wolf bites certainly hurt and there is no such thing as illusory pain. You either feel it or you don't, and I definitely felt it. I think we did something to help, even if we simply changed a memory for the better. And now, we carry on..."

Lari lets out a frustrated sigh and looks around with the others. In particular, he investigates the magical barriers. Scamp helps by putting everything to the smell test as Lari holds the little predator up to every part of the barriers that he can reach. He does this after his own thorough investigation.
