OOC: Speaking of dark halls.

Lari, Ivellios, and Byg'wygg:  From what you can tell the gem is just that, a gem. Ivellios's earlier intimidation has scared the man bad enough to make him not want to lie to in fear of the consequences.

Quintoc, distracted by the argument, barely catches the sound of approaching footsteps coming toward the door. He has the chance to shout a a brief warning before a large form slams into the door. An enormous snarling muzzle and two beady black eyes stare through the doorway, as a large paw reaches through the door way swiping at the group. The claws barely missing Quintoc. The beast roars backing away before ramming full force one again against the door frame. This time you watch as a second head joins the first, both of the mouth snarling, mouths dripping this inky black ooze onto the floor.

The man lets out a frightened scream, pushing himself further along the ground away from the beast.

"It's her! Aseir! She's here!"

OOC: I would like everybody to roll initiative.

OOC: I'm fine with it. You are after all strangers thrown together in an even stranger world, i'd be concerned if everyone was completely fine with being stuck in here for what feels like days with what seems to be no end in sight. And yes Byg'wygg I'll admit this monster is kinda based off Bloodborne. (I love the designs.) The good news is that she rolled super low on initiative.

OOC: Byg’wigg has no issues with our situation because has literally been promised the world in his eyes

Scamp is ready too! Initiative: 4.

Before battle is joined, Lari pockets the rock and the coins. He keeps two copper pieces out and rubs them together before slipping them back into Kai's pocket.

Initiative order:

Ivellios(19), Scamp(16), Byg'wygg(16), Lari(12), Quintoc(10), Kai (9), Aseir(2)

Ivellios the first move is yours. Aseir is currently squeezing her two heads through the doorway snarling at you, One of her paws flailing wildly through the air attempting to strike any within reach.

Ivellios will draw his Halberd before her using his Channel Divinity to power his Halberd. It now shines brightly as it turns gold like his armor. 

[It produces a 20ft radius of bright light as well as 20ft dim pass the original 20ft.]

Ivellios will move up to about a 10ft reach of his Halberd, shouting at the now beast woman. To gain her focus on him.

"Come at me Beast!"

Scamp does a war dance that includes back bending leaps and a few barrel rolls. He tries to bait the shapeshifter into making a reckless swing at him to create an opening and help Lari's next attack land.

Initiative order:

Ivellios(19), Scamp(16), Byg'wygg(16), Lari(12), Quintoc(10), Kai (9), Aseir(2)

“Hey let’s be trying that one thing agains. Maybe it work this time and not be abysmal failure!“ Byg’wigg will cast Moonbeam toward Aesir, CON Save on her turn or take 16 radiant damage! He will position it so that it catches her and the space that she would enter if she made it through the door.

If Lari can melee her without getting hit with moonbeam then he will charge forward with a battle cry that sounds like thunder and stab with his rapier. Booming blade. Attack: 18. Damage: 5+8, if target moves +6. He will then disengage and move to take cover behind the alter.

If Lari can't get close enough without getting hit by moonbeam, then Lari will shoot with his bow instead. Attack: 16. Damage: 8+11. He would then move and hide behind the alter. Stealth: 15.

[EDIT: Crit damage if first scenario applies. 8+7.]

OOC: Byg'wygg put the moonbeam directly on top of her and where she would enter the room, but since its only a five foot area I would say it only covers her head area.

OOC: Woo! That fails! Plus if she’s a shapechanger, she instantly reverts to her normal form!

Lari high fives Byg'wigg as he runs past.
