Indio really doesn't like bullies. "I would hurt a man in his underpants," he says quietly. "I'd do worse than just hurt him if I thought for a moment that he or his friend had...harmed...prisoners such as this." He gives both the woman and her daughter a probing glance (Insight: 12). He knows he's hardly intimidating but really he's just spoiling for a fight. He really doesn't like bullies. If he doesn't get that impression, though, he'll add, "I suppose if the two were prisoners themselves..." he sighs. "Perhaps I'd better check on Tygron." Again, if he gets no negative vibes from the women, he'll do as he stated and join Tygron.
Teo searches his captive thoroughly before locking him inside the cell.
Investigation: 15
He motions for the woman and children to follow Ryn and Indio back to the cistern room. He will help them across the trapped tiles if needed. When they get to the cistern room, he will ask the woman, "Can you get yourselves to safety? We would accompany you but our business isn't quite finished here."
A look of absolute terror passes across the Redbrand's face before he understands what Ryn means.
Ryn searches the Redbrand, and finds a dagger, similar to the other it must have been hidden in his clothes.
Both prisoners are ushered into the Northern cells, the chain put through the door and padlock snapped shut.
The woman nods, holding the two children, and watched Ryn head off. She looks to Teo and Indio; "Are they safe to be near?" looking at the skeletons.
Tygron and Melaria
Tygron can hear mumbled talking from behind the door and then a "1...2....3!" (Strength check: 1) There is a clattering and swearing from behind the door as the Redbrands fall over one another in their group attempt to push open the door.
((Ryn will enter the cistern room as noises can be heard of the Redbrands readying themselves for another attempt... a natural 1...lol))
Melaria continues to make her way to Tygron, keeping some distance between her and him so that he can back up if needed. She'll then begin to utter a quiet incantation and cast Thaumaturgy. Casting it right in front of the door Tygron is in front of and imitate a lot of footsteps.
((My Goal is to make them think there are a lot of us out here.))
The woman nods, holding the two children, and watched Ryn head off. She looks to Teo and Indio; "Are they safe to be near?" looking at the skeletons.
Teo replies to the woman, "They are, now. Let's get you three someplace a little more cheerful, eh?" He gestures for them to hurry towards the exit.
Teo will do his best to get the three of them through to the cistern room and up the stairs to safety before the RBs bust through the barricaded door. (Thank you, Nat 1!)
21 persuasion (gave him Advantage because of Melaria’s help using the cantrip)
Tygron says through the door. “Yer gig’s up redbrands. We gots ye cornered. Might as well be giving up. Pass yer weapons through the door crack and we might be lettin ye live”
Ryn: Ryn smiles as he peeks through the doorway to find Tygron and Melaria with the situation well in hand. He makes sure his makeshift anchor is secure before heading back to the edge of the trapped tiles.
He kneels to pick up his rope, tossing the harness to the far side of the ledge. He says to the captives, "Let's get you all to safety. Don't worry, I'll be holding the rope if you should fall."

Indio pops his head back into the room in which Tygron and Melaria are tending the barricade. The elf frowns pensively for a moment before turning back to the corridor behind him. He works with Ryn from the other end, helping each rescuee to get out of the harness and getting it back to Ryn.
Teo searches his captive thoroughly before locking him inside the cell.

Teo searches the Redbrand, eventually finding a key stashed in the underclothes, a quick test confirming it fits the padlocks.
The woman nods; "The Redbrands came into our home a few nights back and kidnapped us....my husband...he fought to protect us...I think they might have...." she trails off for a moment; "Let me know if you find him. My name is Mirna. And yes, we can find our way. They weren't the most discrete in bringing us to the old manor house, we know where we are. Arrogant bastards."

Indio watches the woman and her children for a few moments, and picks up fear in the children and a mixture of fear and protection in the mother. They seem like genuine prisoners.
Tygron could hear, from behind the door, the sound of the Redbrands picking themselves up and readying themselves once again. All of a sudden the cistern room rings with the sound of footsteps as if an army was approaching. The cacophony of footfall lasts for nearly a minute, during which time the prisoners are making their way across the trap aided by Ryn, Teo and Indio.
As the echoes die away Tygron shouts through the door crack and then waits. There are some quiet murmurs from behind the door before a voice answers, a little shaky; "Who....who's there?"
At this point the teenage girl is across the trap, and the mother is getting the boy ready to cross who is quite obviously scared.
“Me Name’s Tygron and I’m yer only hope. Now pass the weapons out, and I’ll talk the others into lettin ye live. And no tricks, or Yer dead. Once All yer weapons are out we will let ye out with yer hands in the air..” Tygron says sternly.
Some more muffled conversation and then; "Who's authority are you here on? And how do we know you won't just kill us when we come out?"
In the corridor to the North the woman helps the boy as far along the ledge as she can, after which the boy does a couple of quick steps and using the rope and Ryn/Indio's free hand makes it across. The lady prepares to cross next, as the boy runs to his sister.

Melaria, hearing the question directed to Tygron, becomes impatient, her eyes begin to haze over in a dark purple energy. "Because if you don't come out now, unarmed. I'll go in there and kill every last one of you personally! Trust me, one is far more enjoyable to me than the other."
(Tygron helps (gives Melaria advantage on her intimidation) by saying
“We’re here fer the Lord’s Alliance. Seems ye kidnapped one o their own and they wants him back safe. There’s two ways out o’ this dungeon- yer unarmed and alive, or yer unarmed and dead. Make yer choice!”
As the conversation continues between Tygron and the Rebrands the mother of the children makes her way across the ledge, cursing like a sailor as she goes.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! We have nothing to offer you I am afraid...but...yes...I can point you towards something of value that I have not been brave enough to look for...." she quickly explains to you that she grew up in Thundertree but had to flee when it was overrun with the undead. She was only a child but remembers a family heirloom that they left in a hurry, an emerald necklace hidden beneath some storage shelves. They used to run a herb and alchemy shop - in the southeast part of town. After that she heads off up the stairs with her children.

Teo, satisfied that the RB prisoners have no means of escape, gives them both a casual salute, gathers up their clothes and weapons, and hurries out. He steals glances at the skeletons and the sarcophagi, his curiosity stirred by what may have animated the bones. He drops the RB gear onto the floor, looks about to see if anyone is around, and takes a closer look at the southwestern sarcophagus, examining it for any signs of traps or other magic.
Investigation 18
If it is clear, he will attempt to shove the lid off of the southwestern sarcophagus.
Tygron says, "now out with the daggers and bows, and we will be openin the door, ye comes out nice and slow, wit yer hands in the air"
Assuming they toss out some daggers he waits until the rest of our group is together, then he moves the barrel out of the way and steps back. He nods at Meleria "Me girl, be ready t blast em if they try anything dumb",
Melaria steps back, leaving Apple to fly above the doorway (if possible, otherwise just next to it.). She then readies her staff, a dark purple energy swirling around it. A grin comes over her face as she awaits the Redbrands. "Oh, I'm hoping they try something." She responds to Tygron.

Nice! Yes. Tygron will be moving to the door as the prisoners are moved- and will do his STR check above to secure it.
