'Well then, if we're going, let's get moving eh?' Onu dusts his hands off and slides on his tailored jacket, shooting his cuffs as he does so. Scooping up his walking stick he leans over towards KD and whispers 'not a bad day's haul so far, ehh?'
Setting off, Onu begins walking towards their next destination, eager to get some miles under their feet.
"Oh, my apologies ma'am. Has it been that long? I just needed a moment to, ah, calm my nerves. Been a while since I've seen such excitement, that's all." Artemis accepts her hand up. Smiling and bowing his head to her he continues "yes ma'am..." "Yes ma'am..." "Yes ma'am..." With a more playful smile he then says "next time?" "Since I see you are woman who won't take 'no' for an answer, I shall ensure there is a 'next time' and join you for a meal."
Artemis then rejoins the others before they depart, briefly apologizing for missing much or all of the meal.

Adabra's brow would quirk along with a hidden smirk from Arty's reply. She'd jut her chin and usher him on his way.
Once the group was altogether, the midwife would make sure Lilly received the results of her medicinal harvests.
With Onu stepping forward and preparing to lead the crew, Adabra's eyes fell over him. An almost inaudible chuff would leave her nose as she'd watch the way he carried himself. Judging a book by it's cover, she wouldn't of expected him to be the one to go toe to toe with the Manticore, or taking the lead into the woods. Proven wrong, she was slightly impressed, causing her smirk to return.
All of them were quite unexpected.

Onu marches forward leading the way south east towards their destination, Gnomengarde. With the map available to guide the group, the monk easily directs the group down the correct path. The only thing was, the distance was twice as long, so it would take double the time to get there compared to Umbridge Hill. Without the threat of getting lost, it was safe to say you would arrive there in a timely manner.
Demetrios falls to the back and diligently keeps an eye out for any threats along the road. Throughout the trek the Aasimar could hear the birds chirping in the trees, hopping from tree to tree, and the little critters scampering about the foliage. Some would pause at the groups presence, others followed, but otherwise it was a peaceful walk. Although quiet, Demetrios remained vigilant. He was confident there were no hostiles along the way.

Eventually, Onu guides you to a stream, as found on the map. From this point the stream would lead you to your destination. You follow a stream uphill to the base of the mountain, where waterfall erosion has carved out a natural concavity. The roaring waterfall creates a cloud of mist as it plunges into a shallow pool of water, within which rise two small islands covered with two-foot-tall red, green, and purple mushrooms. Several cave openings overlook the pool from rocky ledges twenty to thirty feet above. The mountain blocks any sunlight from reaching this place.

'Well then, isn't this a sight-straight-out-of-a-storybook?' Onu casts his voice low, but avoids whispering - knowing that whispers can actually carry further. 'I've got a tickle at the back of my neck, let me slide forward a bit and see what I can see'
With that, the half-elf moves ahead, sticking to the Western wall for cover and scans the cavern openings and the mushroom island for any threats.
Lilly did not answer, she was standing in awe of the magnificent view. She did not know such waterfalls existed so (relatively) close to Triboar. People always talk about faraway lands full of wanders but here was the one practically in your backyard!
"Uh? Ah, of course."Lilly did not really hear Onu, but his quiet disappearance spoke louder than words. Also, it forced the girl to return to earth and practical questions. "How are we going to reach those caves? We are going there, right?" It was a question to everyone and an out-loud contemplation too. She scanned the surroundings in search of something resembling the path to the caves.

Artemis had been cheerful and talkative, when not out of breath at least, while on the way to the windmill. She spends the walk to Gnomengarde talking with Onu quietly, giving up the ruse that they don’t interact.
”You were brave, or foolhardy, back there. I was impressed despite myself. This group, it’s… good, right? Not trusting or anything but this could be a good thing.”
When they get to the waterfalls, KD is already looking for any evidence that the flow has been turned into work or power or something useful. She looks for any likely lookout perches or weapons emplacements. These gnomes are supposed to be inventors or at least craftspeople, right? So she looks for where evidence of such work might be observable from here. Otherwise she will just plan on calling out a greeting since they are there to do business on behalf of the town.
Onu easily disappears into the local surroundings to scout ahead while the others took an extra moment to take in the view from afar.
The islands sit in the middle of a pool and are perpetually shrouded in mist from the waterfall. From Lilly's perspective, she can had to give her eyes a rub to really believe it. She sees 2-foot-tall mushrooms, and they come in three colours! She could tell they were special to this area. Each one must be different. But there was something else about this place. An air about it that felt almost uniquely familiar to herself, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Special Mushrooms? (Curious about them magic shrooms?)

KD immediately starts looking around the area with purpose. She scans with the eye of a craftsman, for traces of unique items from these reclusive gnomes. There had to be something around this place... or was it about this place?
Even from his height, and squinting, Demetrios had a heck of a time seeing much more than fog. Moving forward with the others to make sure he doesn't lose the rest of them in the clouds, his toe catches a rock. With a ting it's kicked off, landing into the water with a 'plop'. Investigating a little further he felt confident to say it was about three feet deep. Glancing up from where the pebble sunk, the paladin could swear he sees a narrow footpath on the other side of the pool that ascended towards the northeast.
It was about this time the monk would complete his sweep from the West-Side and begin his rendezvous back to the stream with the others. He was confident there were no threats out here in the open. Having scanned the cavern walls the whole way, Onu was also able to confirm there were actually 5 different entrances. The northern two were about 30ft high into the rock face, with an eastern entrance at about 20ft. And he almost missed it himself, but to the south was a 60ft waterfall plunged into the water (G2), there was a 35ft long rope bridge lightly obscured from the mist. It was anchored on 20ft high ledges that connected the 2 southern most cave openings.

"Do you see it too?" Lilly pointed at the mushrooms and checked if everyone saw them. "I thought I ate something wrong back in Adabra's. They are absolutely huge! And that colors... Do you know what is it?"
Her nature knowledge was very limited but that were mushrooms, hence, potential food after all, and others might help to recognize them...
Nature: 9
No help could overcome the lack of knowledge. "Must be magical,"concluded Lilly and continued to simply admire mysterious shrooms.
Much like how Onu slipped into a near perfect stealth, KD falls into a natural groove. Completely meticulous, she moved methodically through the area. The artificer scanned and analyzed her data, applying all tactical and/or practical applications of weaponry or defensive gadgets. There appeared to be nothing obvious of that sort outside, but logic dictated there would definitely be items like this to be expected inside the dwelling, and she'd be the first one to spot them. While hoping she could discern something special about the waterfall or anything done to harness it's flow, there was no evidence from this perspective. The only thing that she could find a hint of while double checking in that direction was that the bridge itself did have some sort of immunity. Should they find their way on it, she'd be able to figure out for sure what.
But still standing there outside, scanning the area near Lilly, Demetrios and KD both hear her excited musings. Although she lacked the knowledge of these particular mushrooms, the others close by might be able to share some discoveries with her.
Demetrio
Although maybe not as knowledgeable about magical components of the mushrooms, Lilly's question may prompt Demetrio's eyes to extend his investigation over them. The colour of the fungi definitely distinguished them from each other and there was evidence of each kind being harvested. The gnomes that dwell here must gather them for unique uses, so they were definitely useful in some way. In order to reach them though, they'd have to cross the river to get there.
KD
KD's disciplined review of the area would make it's way to the oversized mushrooms. That definitely wasn't natural. It was magical. And there was something wild about it. What the artificer could conclude without diving into their history was that the magic must have been bestowed upon this area. It's what has caused the mushrooms to grow abnormally large. But there's more. She could tell that it was much stronger in the directions where Onu would indicate entrances.
Onu returns to the party and relays the results of his reconnoiter. 'I'm afraid the rest of this is completely beyond my experience but it would seem we need to pick an entrance to scout.'
After determining the depth of the river, the paladin's eyes go to the big mushrooms Lilly had been inspecting, his brows kitting together slightly. "I'm not sure about magical..."Demetrios says thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "But the gnomes that live here seem to use those mushrooms for something since it looks like they've been harvested before." He points out particular spots in the dirt where it looks as if the ground has been disturbed. "Perhaps when we meet them we could inquire further on the uses of the mushrooms. Could be beneficial for us in the future."
Cognac hues glance back over to where the pebble has sunk in when Onu returns. "How about this way?" He brings the groups attention to the narrow footpath he managed to spot to the Northeast.

"Yea... Looks like a path." Lilly did not look at the path, though, but at the stream, contemplating if she can actually cross it or would first drown and then be swept away by the current.
Lilly's concern was valid for someone of her stature, but gnomes are supposed to live here. With the roaring of the waterfall, maybe they just didn't KD's shouting? All the same, she'd have to cross if they wanted to follow the path Demetrios pointed out that connects to one of the entrances Onu mentioned. Closer to the waterfall, there could definitely be fear of getting swept away, but down here the river appeared more calm. There was always an option of being carried across but as long as she doesn't slip, she should be okay. Besides getting a bit wet.
