Onu Initiative: 21
The monk moves quickly to impose himself between the swarms' masses of grossness and his friends, pulling out his shiny new sword and plunging it into the mass at Demetrious's feet.
With guidance of a feathery ally, Onu is lead to his friends with swiftness only the monk could master. Quick didn't always mean accurate, and as bad ass as his swings were, he was hitting blanks. It may take a moment to get used to his new sword.
KD's reaction was right on point. She'd manage to burn a few insects before trying to step back.

Lilly did not delay! She flipped into exterminator mode, firing off accurate shots at Demetrios’ feet. The paladin himself would follow up by poking around at his feet. He’d be just successful enough to stab a few maggots instead of his toes!
Onu's initial attacks are completely off the mark, the slimy squirming assailants avoiding his clever cleaving. Undeterred at how foolish he must have looked he presses his attack.

Demetrios was a bit frazzled by the maggots, though thankfully, with good teamwork, they weren’t able to dig in too deep into his boots to be too big of an issue for him. After a quick regathering of his composure, he tries to assist in ridding of the swarm that nipped at KD’s feet!

Team work makes the dream work, or at least puts an end to the mini night mare. Demetrios crunches the juicy beetles while the last of the swarm infestation was successfully picked off by Lilly’s magic. The skittering, creepy crawlies were dead. After a silent pause, fluttering of wings could be heard, coming for your direction too. The raven returns. It saunters over and begins picking at the fresh feast.
KD looks back down into the well, and then the grave, examining for details, clues, items left behind, markings, magical residue. Does she see anything abnormal about either? Anything to suggest this is supernatural or mundane?
"Disgusting!"repeated Lilly emotionally and looked around. It seemed all was quiet for now. She looked at the bird (not trying to chase it away), sighed (some people say they can understand and even talk to animals) and like KD checked the surroundings. Though, she was more curious about the entrance itself. And the statues around the door. "Do not like the look of them!" finally declared Lilly. Nevertheless, she came closer and looked inside.
Onu cleans the slime off his shiny new sword, watching as the ichor falls free from the beautiful crafted weapon. Sliding it back into its home, the half-elf turns his attention outward, watching the raven for clues on where they should go next.
KD continues her investigation, starting with the well. Finding nothing new from before, she continues over to the graves Demetrios had been reviewing himself before the attack of the maggots. She’d be able to notice the same things he did about the graves, but the artificer’s eyes had a knack for detail. She’d notice that the graves belonged to a pair of dead orcs, they were about a day old, but were disturbed sometime last night. Claw marks are evident, along with some day old body fluid spatter, but curious enough, the graves were fixed, as if rebuilt, as recently as a couple hours before you. There’s nothing magical or otherworldly about it, just that it’s a bit out of place and unexpected here.
The raven look up at the two staring down at it and cock it’s head to the side. Then when Lilly would start moving to the next area and finds herself back at the statues, the raven hops along after her, Onu in toe. “Like!” The raven would repeat in Lilly’s voice mid chow on a beetle it carried with it. Then, it’d waddle over to the statues. ”Disgusting! Do not like-!” It’d croak Lilly’s words once more then peck at the feet. Beyond the bird, Lilly and Onu could swear they hear people talking within the temple beyond the statues.
"The orcs who were buried here no more than a day ago, something with claws tried to mess with them. Messily. Then someone else fixed it. But I don't think those vermin are anything magical or arcane. Odd. Where are the dwarves? What really happened here?"KD would say, eyes looking to the door, then slowly moving toward it.
Even nature agreed with her! Lilly began to tell just that to Onu, when the voices came. She paused and listen. "Did you hear that? Someone is down there. Maybe our orc-caring dwarves?"(She could not imagine why would any dwarf carefully bury an orc, but who knows). She waved to others outside "Someone is down there! Come!" And with that curiously stepped inside.
(In case Onu stopped her and went scout ahead, she would not object in any way and wait patiently for his return)
