Engaged by Lilly's enthusiasm, the raven would hop along after the halfling, pausing behind at her heel when Onu would stop her. "Did you hear that?" It'd chime in her voice too.
Onu would carry on ahead for his scout. He'd successfully blend in with the shadows and darkness of the temple, but it also posed a bit of a challenge for the half-elf's inspection. There were no light sources in the temple. Nothing stood out as concerning, just that he found himself towards a dead end rather than towards the voices. He found himself amongst dust and debris from structure rubble (E6).
The others would slowly continue forward sensing nothing is currently amiss. With the daylight coming through the front doors, KD, Lilly and Demetrios could see that in the foyer(E4), directly in front of them there were pikes hammered into the floor hold open two sets of double doors. A once-secret door to the north stands open, with a room beyond it(E6).
Demetrios keeps to the back this time, letting the more perceptive (or not with these rolls huehue) of the group lead ahead as he watched their backs. Never know when something's gonna follow behind!

Moving through the foyer and passed the double doors, the group enters a temple with four large pillars and a bloodstained limestone altar at the far end of the room. It took a moment, but as the group walked through the room, they’d finally figure out where the voices where coming from. On the other side of one of the pillar stands two dwarves bickering with each other.
”Why’dya insist on commin’ back?” One would grumble.
”There’s a job to finish.”
”But it wa’n’t our job! We did ours. With some help… but we did it!”
Once light, now dark. White, silver and blue now black, grey and no hue. The other dwarf would look up from something in his hand. “I’m finishing it. She would have.”
It was unlikely the group was stealthy enough to sneak up on those dwarves, no matter how involved in the conversation they were. And even if the dwarves did not stop their bickering, she was not the one to be ignored! "Hello?" Lilly waved to the men. "Hi! I am Lilly, these are my friends." (She was not sure Onu and KD would want to show right away, and hesitated with introduction). "We came from the town. To warn you about the dragon." Technically, everything was said and done now, but she felt like something had to be added. "Um... Nice dig you have here. Though you might look into that infestation you have outside? Parasites that big are simply dangerous. They even attacked us on the way here."
Onu would stay to the shadows, keeping himself out of sight and ready to act in case the dwarves were hostile.
Stealth 6
Or at least that was his plan. Until he tripped and fell flat on his face. He stood quickly, dusting himself off and straightening out his coat, tugging at the bottom and shooting his cuffs, making himself look presentable and then falling in alongside Lily.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With Lilly readily giving introductions, the paladin stows away his sword and shield for now, and gives the dwarves a friendly wave. “Demetrios. Pleasure to—“He’s cut off by the sound of Onu’s unfortunate slip up.
Though, before he could act, the man had quickly regained his composure. Demetrios quietly whispers over to him. “Are you alright?”

Lilly had grabbed the mens attention easily enough to break the ice and had started the groups introduction. And she was correct, the group was definitely not stealthy enough, despite Onu's best efforts.
"Haha-awe..." The gentle laughter of a woman escapes the raven who had followed at Lilly's heels and kept an eye on the monk who tried to slip out of sight. Onu had gathered himself quickly. Expertly regaining his composure without skipping a beat, Onu proudly took position at the halfling's side. He'd feel the bird tug at his pant leg just enough to adjust it at his shoe. Their black feathered follower would then correct its posture as if trying to add presence to the line up when Demetrios' would join them.
Both dwarves would turn to face the group. One of them was obviously more gruff than the other, clearly the muscle, while the other was more well kept and presentable with a smile.
"Norbus." The rougher man would grunt, crossing his arms as he'd look you all over. He'd then raise an elbow to nudge his colleague. "Eh. Ya 'ear that? They came frum town teh tell us 'bout the dragon too."
"Dazzlyn." The other dwarf would close his first around the pendant in his hand to hold it to his chest when he'd bow his head to the group. "Thank you for coming all this way but-"
"Lil late a'int ch'ya?" Norbus would stroke his beard and scoff, having cut off Dazzlyn. "An' wuz this 'bout an' infestation?"
Dazzlyn would give an apologetic look. "We were warned by another crew of adventurer's early yesterday morning."He'd begin to explain. "They quickly assisted us investigate this place and sent us on our way..."
"Ya! Then this mornin', word at first breakfast be tha dragon came 'ere last night! A freaking dragon, lass and lads. So I'm thinkin' we done right? But no. D continues an' insists we come back teh finish what I say's a done job!" Norbus fusses.
The other man's grip would tighten around the lightless pendant and he'd just close his eyes to wait until Norbus was done. "I had a fellow archaeologist scheduled to meet us for the final mapping and report completion once we finished our preliminary investigation..." He'd open his eyes to further explain himself before eventually adding. "I have reasons to believe we missed something."
Norbus would pause, doing a double take as if that last addition was news even to him.
Demetrios' eyes glance down at the raven, just noticing their presence as they looked to try to add to the group's line up. Was that someone's pet and he never noticed it until now? It would definitely be something he would need to ask the others later. He drew his attention back to the dwarves, his brows furrowing slightly when Dazzlyn would admit they believed they missed something.
"Well, firstly, we apologize for the lateness, though we're glad another group had taken care of warning you all... Lilly will explain further on the infestation at a later time if need be, but what do you mean that you believe you all have missed something? ... Is it something we could perhaps assist with?"

Demetrios said it all - if they came here late and the trip was useless for both parties, the least they could do is to help with ... whatever dwarves were doing here. She had to force herself to stop watching the raven (the bird seemed to like her! Or so she wanted to think) and nodded to the dwarves. "We would like to help, truly. If you say how."
“Mere chance and happenstance of Lady Luck.” Dazzlyn would wave off the apology without concern, while Norbus huffed. “You were given a job, and thus still fulfilled it. The beast has yet to be vanquished, right?” Another grumble would leave his associate.
”As you may have already noticed, this place was rocked by cave ins.” Dazzlyn would start with the obvious. “But during our walk through with our last impromptu assistants, we came to a room at ‘the end’. There was a statue that presented a gem, which one of the men denied, turning it away. It set a contraption in motion and opened up a recess beneath where the statue stood, in which they discovered some hidden treasures. From that point, the group was satisfied and thus we were escorted back.” He’d explain. Then after a pause he’d finally add what he was getting to. “During that whole event, the statue had moved, inserting itself into the recess of the back wall and there was an explosion. Yet no one thought to investigate further.” Big dwarven eyes scan the new adventurers before him. “I believe it could have opened up a hidden area that may have once been blocked off.”
Norbus would roll his eyes so far back, he’d almost fall over.
'A rather large Gem you say?' Onu would perk up at the mention of such a treasure. 'And a hidden area that may have been opened? Well this does sound like the kind of thing that would be worth exploring further. '
Turning to his comrades he'd look for signs of their interest and approval
Lilly slowly nodded - yes, quite interesting. Though, she felt pretty much like that man Norbus, if for a different reason. She was not sure she understood correctly who did what and why. "So... That group that came before us took the treasure, walked you back and then left. But you decided to stay and investigate if the explosion opened up even more hidden rooms?"She blinked a few times looking at Dazzlyn to confirm or correct her understanding. "And you need more people to do it, right? I think we can help with that."
Demetrios listens intently to the dwarf's words, once furrowed brows raising when they mention a once hidden area opening to them. It definitely had piqued the paladins curiosity, and it seemed as if it did the same for most of the others too. He keeps himself quiet for now, though he does nod in agreeance with both Onu and Lilly's words.

Investigation: 11
KD concludes there are no traps upon entry, in the foyer, any of it's doors, or in the room that Onu found himself in.

KD nods, unsure why Lilly was asking the door if the door was safe, instead of her. "Seems like it? We'll find out..." she says, moving forward slowly.

KD finds a place to observe, and looks from where she stands at the alter. The blood seems fresh? Is there blood on the dwarves?
The blood is dried, definitely not fresh. Besides being a little dusty, and some dirty hands, there are no blood on the dwarves.
