Clive Roughbeam - Human v - Paladin (devotion) - Folk Hero
Clive lived in a village near the Saline Coast where the Confederacy has invaded. He believed his time had come, defending his home against the invaders. He prayed to Ixxarus for answers and salvation, but his prayers fell on deaf ears. So he began to make promises to the air, swearing in hidden glades of the wood by calm pools that he would be a shield for all his people if only he had the strength. He was never sure if this was connected, but he saw a unicorn that night...
Strength came to him. Again, and again, it came every time the Coast needed to beat back enemy scouts or landing parties. Often, he and his neighbors were forced to retreat inland, but still his strength never failed to protect life.
His people were brought to a protected valley. From there, time finally slowed enough for him to realize his hate for Ixxarus, who refused to stand for them. He tried to stir up his neighbors to the same ideal, but... they saw magic. And when they needed it, they said nothing, but now? Now they were afraid.
Clive was forced to leave, although he doesn’t blame them. He has to keep his goal in mind. So now he travels, helping who he can - however ungrateful. And keeping an eye out for help to arrive.

Name| Lysa Rulown Race| Moon Elf Class| Wizard - Graviturgy Backstory| As far back as Lysa can remember, her and her ilk have been on the run. For almost a century now, her enclave has evaded the inquisition as they criss-crossed the continent, searching for a place to hide. Throughout this time, their numbers have dwindled, her blood family having long since joined the fallen.
She has fought, hidden, and begged for help when necessary. Their number has fallen to less than half a dozen, and the inquisition's hunters grow stronger with every encounter. Throughout her life, there have been many she has met facing similar circumstances, some she trusted enough to remain in communication with.
Utilizing these contacts, she struck a bargain: her assistance in their efforts to overthrow the Absolute, in exchange for the safe refuge for those remaining of her enclave. Ability scores| 8813111210

Motivation: Surda wants to kill Ixarus to remove the curse that was put upon his family line
Backstory:
Surda comes from a cursed line of Aarakockra that have lost their wings; this curse was brought about by Surda’s grandfather Strebor. Coming from a small village you would think that this would have protected his Grandfather from the ire of Ixarus, but you would be wrong. Much like any other village the people of Groveshire ( or whatever the DM wants to call it) are farming folk and as such they grow what they need to eat and take the rest to the surrounding bigger towns to sell. On one of these trips, Strebor came across some devote followers of Ixarus that were terrorizing a beggar. Always believing in doing what is right Strebor intervened telling the followers off and badmouthing the god Ixarus which was unwise, but he was angered by their cruelty. This only led to the followers beating him mercilessly into the ground and when he got back up and blasphemed against Ixarus again, they just beat him back down. This went on three times until Strebor lost consciousness, they left him there for dead and if not for a man within the crowd Strebor would surely have perished that day, but he did not and this angered Ixarus, and while angered by Strebors actions but relishing in the torment of mortals Ixarus decided to put a curse upon Strebor and his descendants that would strip them of their wings and leave his mark upon their arms.
Surda grew up in Groveshire, he was always inquisitive and wanting to learn. This led to him tinkering with whatever he could get his hands on and inventing new things to help around the village. He stayed here until his nineteenth birthday when he decided that he must end the curse upon his family and the only way he knows how to do so is to kill the god Ixarus.
Veil was traveling with her parents, when she was young.During their travel a pair of wizards appeared, out of a portal, battling with each other.Veil’s family was caught in the middle of the wizard battle.During the battle Veil was separated from her family, and caught in an area of unstable magic. She does not know how she survived the magical storm all around, but Veil was the only member of her family to walk away after the wizards moved on.
She has vowed to make the wizards who took her family from her pay for their deeds.
Motivation for wanting to kill Ixarus:
Veil sees the god as the center of all of the bad business going on in the world. Her vengences against the two wizards who slew her family, she believes, is also due to this god pitting the peoples of the world against each other. Likely the wizards were from rival nations.
Gimmek is travelling to Sanctuary, tired of the tyranny of Ixarus. He is a druid and beholden to the old gods, but does not make his magic known, does not use it often. He is old and wise, he hopes to add his skills to other adventurers to take Ixarus down. He hasn't had much experience with many other races, he is a clear outsider, tries to remain in the shadows. After consulting with his village and in consideration of his skills, he is sent to accomplish this.

This sounds interesting. I'll roll and see what I can come up with, though there are heaps of fighters and the like, so I'll see what else I can come up with to add something else into the mix.

Name: Oston Stoutsong Race: Lightfoot Halfling Class: Lore Bard(5)/Mastermind Rogue(6) Backstory & Motivation to kill Ixarus: Oston was always living on the knife edge of criminal underworld and respectable jeweller merchant. But when the Absolute's fanatics came through his home town many years ago and destroyed his workshop, he vowed to get back at them and the self appointed god. Spending years honing his skills as a bard and rogue, he split his time between researching and reading in every library he could find, and countless hours watching and learning from those he would later hunt.
Name - Agar Akame Race - Human (variant) Class - Sorcerer (Aberrant Mind) Backstory - In every age, there is war. In the past, the Akame family distinguished themselves with their strange powers and grew notorious as they hired out as mercenaries to various warring nations, feared and hated by all others - even those who hired them. In every conflict, they would be tapped by one or the other side, such was the advantage they offered. And in every conflict, they lost the lives of their loved ones. Sick of burying their children, the elders made a decision generations ago to disperse throughout the land, so that no nation could hire them all, and also to hide their power at the same time. The notorious Akame family simply disappeared from the public eye. Now, Agar serves his nation as a spy and gathers crucial intelligence for them while avoiding the front lines and also hiding his powers as much as he could. Motivation for wanting to kill Ixarus - many of the wars which claimed Agar's dear relatives were instigated by Ixarus for no good reason but perverse satisfaction, and Agar hopes that without Ixarus there could be peace
