So, if that's the case, half damage means Bree is down, and crisped. It only went to -7 though, so not insta-death. If the roll is not good enough, she's at -22, still not enough for insta-death, so either way, she's down and making death saves. Maybe some Yuan-ti will be so annoyed at her they will shoot arrows at her little prone corpse and hurry this along. :P

I assume charred-pin cushion-deader than dead-Yasei doesn’t need to make any further death saving throws, as she’s now so far negative HP she’s s’mores filling?!

Watching his sister go down and several other team members die. Mal decides its time to retreat, if Crispy will let me.

Mal will expend a ki point use Step of the Wind and take a disengage as a bonus action and scoop up his sister's body and justs run full speed, away from everything. A whole 80ft away down the safest path cradling his sister. If picking her up counts as an action then just the 40 feet. He's done here.
