Silver Marches, was a confederation of cities in the north of Faerûn, under the leadership of Alustriel Silverhand, former ruler of Silverymoon. It consisted of Silverymoon, Citadel Adbar, Deadsnows, Jalanthar, Quaervarr, Citadel Felbarr, Everlund, Mithral Hall, and Sundabar, and its goal was to protect the North against the growing horde of orcs in the mountains.
The Kingdom of Many-Arrows was an orc kingdom founded by Obould Many-Arrows in 1371 DR and recognized as a sovereign realm by several of the Silver Marches signatories the following year. It stretched from Mithral Hall in the west to the Moonwood in the east and to the Evermoors in the south.
The peace and stability of Many-Arrows fell into disarray in 1484 DR, when the drow Quenthel Baenre incited the orcs into war.The orc Hartusk, a known detractor of Obould's peaceful methodology, took control of the Kingdom of Many-Arrows. Hartusk began to conquer large portions of The Silver Marches, from Nesmé and Sundabar and laid siege to the great dwarven strongholds of Mithral Hall, Citadel Felbarr, and Citadel Adbar. The tide of the battle turned, however, when Bruenor Battlehammer rallied the dwarven forces and began to crush the opposition.
As the battles raged, Bruenor and his men were able to defeat the last of Chief Hartusk's forces at Dark Arrow Keep, before restoring control of the fortress to Lorgru, the son of Obould XVII, who had been framed for the assassination of his father. His name was cleared, and he took control of the remnants of the Kingdom of Many-Arrows, retreating back to Dark Arrow Keep and the Spine of the World, to try and continue his father's legacy of peaceful integration with the people of the Silver Marches.
Now the surviving orcs, trolls, giants and the more numerous goblins are free once more to roam the wild.
You are part of what remains of the Nightrot Clan. These are your adventures.
Goblins only. That means of course that you'll be playing evil characters but I want you to understand that though Goblins bicker and fight among themselves they understand that their survival depends on them sticking together. This is not a loony toon campaign but it will be dark and have content that may not be suitable for underaged kids. Try to restrain yourself.
1st level and 27 points for stats creation. I am linking the campaign for you to create the Characters. I have the race and the core rulebooks so I'm sharing them too. I'd prefer characters made on the site. You'll have the basic equipment, looted from the dead bodies of Silver Marches soldiers.
I want to do try a make a sandbox campaign where your group will have to decide where they are going and what they want to do.
I put together a Dex-based fighter. If you can't see it just let me know. I'm on my phone right now, but I'm pretty sure it got submitted to the campaign.
If you make any decisions restricting backgrounds/classes/etc, I can adjust.
So - at the risk of this being a very non optimal build (unless you allow us the risk of rolling for stats... publicly, of course - heck in this very chat), I have the itch to play a goblin BARD - because: why not? --- Belch was always bouncing around the caves, being drawn to each of the new sounds he heard, drumming away at the walls of the caverns along the way. This annoyed many a goblin. But he was an entertaining sort and managed to bring toothy grins to the clan whenever they gathered for food or battle.
Picking through the fields after a large battle, looking for interesting bits which with to entertain his 'fans,' young Belch stumbled upon a turtle shell lyre. Its resonator was slightly bowed, making the music it produced a bit wobbly and discordant, but to Belch it was lovely and perfect.
After the discovery of his lyre, Belch made it a point to go to the battlefields almost immediately after the warring parties would leave the grounds in order to find the best of instruments battle had to offer. He added to his collection and, as such, added to his bag of tricks - literally. Belch soon learned that if he inflected his voice the right way, or played his instruments in a particular fashion, he could produce arcane effects. At first, the rest of his clan was fearful and weary of the new Belch , but they couldn't help but fall for the music and pretty lights.

Any class restrictions?

There are no guns in forgotten realms. So all gun related classes are off.
Otherwise I don't see any restrictions

I can see that there is no Goblin race in basic content. Is the goblin race from "Volo's guide to monsters" compatible with your campagin?
Other (maybe strange) question. Is the fact that i live in europe a problem? Time Zones problem?
I got the goblin race and I m sharing it. Click it on the link.and do the character.
Don t worry about time zone. It's PbP so it's easier. I m in France myself.
I 'll ask you to add a background. Even if you are from the same clan you have had different lives specially during the war.
Otherwise we ll create something together.

Is homebrew allowed?
Just an average metalhead who plays DnD in his spare time.
PbP Character: Roberta Thalan, Void Beyond the Stars Otherside
PbP Character: Primus Eidolon, Eotha 2
PbP Character: Usmor Illiqai, Tomb of Corrosion
PbP Character: "Templar" Danver, You're the Villains
Homebrew stuff
Depends on what it is. Tell me more but I don't see why not.

Sounds like it could be quite a lot of fun.
So as far as I understand it, we just have to fill in a character on the link you provided in the opening post?
William Brackwater: Human Fighter - The Windward Isles
Yep, and add a bit of background.
I'll open an OOC Private chat to talk about the clan later today. I m still seeing if I m taking 5 or 6 characters

William Brackwater: Human Fighter - The Windward Isles
Ok, I'll end recruitment tomorrow. No worries.

I'll add in the background stuff once I know a bit more about the Nightrot clan and the war.
