#23 is where the slime is. #20 is an enormous river with the boats and the bell. The river goes for a long way. There are four yuan-ti tending to the boat.
Shariel gives a wicked smile after receiving the assessment, "You are all overcomplicating the matter. Here's some options: I can blink in past the slime, draw the guards, and have them walk right into an ambush under the slime. Alternatively, I haven't heard from little NagNag since we died, but if he's still around, I can scale the walls and hit that slime before it hits us. While I'm working that piece, you all make ready for the guards to come."

"The first sounds like an excellent plan, Shariel. I would have the slime do some of our work. You must be prepared to blink back to the boats in case one of the guards attempts to ring the bell or go for help. Unless someone can silence the bell?" she looks hopefully at Clayton. "And if they do not come, or if they know of the slime, then you will need to distract them at the boats while we charge past the slime and join you."
She stops and stares at Clayton. "Why do I think of... breakfast meat when I look at you?"

Clayton smiles, and pulls out a tiny porcelain cow, “Hey, cowboy’s gotta eat.” However, he recalls that Yasei liked that trick too and a twing of sadness traces across his face.

Shariel's devious smile widens, "Oh believe me, I've already got that covered," she draws her bow, "I am free as Wind in the sky. My mind is unhindered by the body and goes where it pleases. I am able to jump across space while leaving a momentary tether where I was. This lets the body move and return and instant later without extra effort. I Step in, disable the bell, draw the guards, and Step back."
(Simplified, Nomadic Step Discipline ability: There and Back Again (2pt), teleport 20' and move half my speed, then automatically teleport back to where I started. Shoot an arrow at the bell when I see it.)
(Oh how I wish I could triple-play characters! Shariel is only 1 of three characters I have envisioned for a long while. The other two are very close interests of her's *wink wink* and the three make an amazing adventuring/RP combo)

OOC: Ok, so to summarize: We should go through back because big daddy Yuan-ti is at the front door. The slime could be a possible threat, but we could observe its relationship with the yuan-ti before doing anything. Shariel can eliminate the bell. We can then assess the Yuan-ti and either kill them or sneak by. Is that the plan?
(If Shariel still has NangNang, she will climb down. If not, she has rope to assist with climbing.)

If nothing better presents itself (like a mass Fly or Shariel being able to carry us all down), Bree will cast Gaseous Form on herself and float down, remaining in that form as long as she can or until action is required. If she must, she can twin it for a lot of Sorcery points and cast it on someone else, too.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
OOC: So there’s snake holes in the door at the front, which we are avoiding. In the back, there is a large hole leading into the cavern which we will descend into, I believe.

As long as you have a realistic plan, assume you make the descent without incident. I will describe what happens if you all agree to make the journey into the hole as soon as I am able.

There are also passages north, and west.

Haha breakfast meat.

What do you guys wanna do. Lets go lets go =P Someone make a decision.
If you guys wanna go around the back and find a way down the hole, lets make it happen. =)

Ooc: that's what I was thinking. Slither can move in ahead of time as well, I've gota backup plan for the bell.
So the questions are:
What order will you all descend, how will you all get down if not affected by a spell, and who would cast what spell to assist in that descent.
OOC: Assuming we take a short rest beforehand, we can fly down if we’d like.
