OOC: Any newts left for Yasei to attack?  If so...

Yasei side steps over discretely to attack newt x, placing her wakizashi in its saya, and with both hands on her katana, attacks:

Attack 1 (two handed katana): 13 with 10 slashing damage.

(Sorry, late edit on my last post. Was the last newt less than 30' away? Tried to Step behind it, but wasn't sure if it gave advantage or if I was even behind it.)

(Regardless - Attack1: 22. Damage 1: 9. Attack2: 19. Damage 2: 6.)

A sharp kick to the firenewt's knee brings it down and Shariel's blades bite deep into the beast's neck and shoulder. Just like old times.

The smelter is all of the sudden quiet, the hammering and pounding the newts were doing, now dead, and the room has gone silent.

The Smelter room is now empty except for you guys. You do remember at least one newt running into area 3.

There are lots of dead bodies, scimitars, a dagger Bree threw, a broken scimitar, and 5gp total.

"There's one more. Are we chasing it?"

As he says this, Maldrek begin checking the bodies for loot.

She checks on Maldrek, then retrieves the first dagger, making a rude finger at the spot where the second dagger met its fate in the forge.

OOC: Wait, I need to make two dc 10 concentration checks: 18 and 4 and Hex goes away. ;-;

"Oh shit my dart." Maldrek stops and looks for his dart to collect it, before continuing to search the bodies.

Bree

"I think it went over there," she points vaguely unhelpfully. "Maybe we should check around the corner?"

She proceeds to move as quietly as she can towards the corner so she can see the door to area 3.

Stealth: 10

Yasei, grimacing in pain, quietly asks the others, "Anyone here know any healing spells?"

(she's currently at 8 of 20 HPs)

“Yeah... same...” Clayton says with 4 hp out of 17.

Maldrek looks up from the bodies.

"No, I don't, sorry princess. I'm not the magic sort. I can look at it to see if we can bandage it but thats it."

Yasei: "Please help Clayton-san first.  He's hurt more."

“No, no... I’m fine. Help the lady first.” 

"There's more people here then me???" Maldrek say and looks over at the others.

"Anyone wanna give me a hand?" Maldrek checks on Yasei first.

Medicine(To see if there anything he can do for them):16

You can take a short rest and heal up one hit die + Maldrek's proficiency in Medicine for whoever takes a short rest and is helped by Maldrek.

A short rest is about an hour.

Bree, you're looking into the Armory. You don't see any newts. No doubt, they are probably aware of a party of adventurers in the Mine - and they may be hiding or going to sneak attack you all shortly.

If you all chose to go in, i'll describe what you see.

OOC: Yeah, let’s take a short rest. Maldrek can help Yasei. HD: 14 Good as new! Plus I’ve got my spells back!

OOC: Yasei probably has better Con modifier then my medicine modifier. If she wants me to help her I will, but if not I'll take watch.
