Mal will do the same thing, finding the smallest snake, whacking it with the flower and then soothing it with the flower. He then lets the small creature crawl into his mouth and slithers up. Once he gets to the top he'll make a weird face at Bree and does a strange little shimmy, feeling uncomfortable with the snake inside him.
OOC: I see at the top a bunch of hippies holding fruits and flowers, with weird snake parts protruding out of various orifices. Yep, pretty much a site I’ve never seen before!
The shrine atop the ziggurat is a simple, rectangular structure of brick. The outside walls are decorated with labyrinth symbols of a language you cannot read, nor understand. Beyond the open doorway is a barren, dusty room, with the scent of incense. When you enter the structure, everything changes inside - when you look back, you see the outside surroundings in a different time, perhaps millions of years ago, because it looks completely different than what you just came from. It's as if the top structure is some sort of magical portal?
Hanging lamps illuminate the room, while incense burners fill it with exotic scents and curling smoke. Cushions and reed mats cover the floor, pots of blooming flowers line the plastered walls, and singing birds flit from plant to plant.
A truly beautiful but immense snake with iridescent scales rests on a heap of cushions opposite the doorway, filling the entire structure with it's size. It rises it's head slowly as you enter, staring directly into your eyes as it moves - it's tongue flicking as it speaks in your mind, but it's mouth does not move.
"I AM SAJA N'BAZA. WHAT DO YOU SEEK IN THIS ANCIENT PLACE? SPEAK TRULY, FOR I CAN HEAR YOUR HEARTS."
Musharib falls to the floor in a kneeling stance immediately, his head bowing.

Clayton stands in shock for a moment, as he hopes the snakes weren’t this thing’s babies. However, he quickly removes his hat and nods in greeting, “Hello. Clayton Pendragon, pleasure to meet you. I think we’re searching for information on the ‘Soulmonger,’ right everyone?”
Yasei silently pads up to stand in front of the oracle, politely bows, and in a firm yet pleasant voice says aloud “I open my eyes to the future and embrace the past. I accept the wisdom of Saja N’Baza, Voice of the Gods, Speaker of Riddles, Seer of Fate. We seek the source of the scourge infecting the souls of this land. Known to us as the Soulmonger. Where can we find it, in order to destroy it and return these lands and peoples back to their normal, vibrant life?”

“Didn’t you say that snakes were good luck back where you were from? This must be like a lucky horseshoe on a rabbit foot at the end of a rainbow for you.”

"Whoa, this is like that truth-snake Madam Mamba had, only without the puppets." She steps up with the others, patting Musharib's shoulder sympathetically as she passes him. "Hi, my name is Bree, and my brother and I are here to get out of a long standing debt, well, more of a tricky situation, but also, we're helping someone we like, and it's all wrapped up together, like most things, right? Some of this, some of that, but yeah, Princess is right, we're trying to find this Soulmonger thing, to I guess, set the world back the way it was a little, but then, I mean, how far back do you want to go, like, that one fruit I had in Port Nyanzaru was kind of gross, so maybe I'd like to go make that right, and of course, I feel bad about what happened in Fishtown five years ago," she raises an eyebrow at Mal. "And, you know, like, it would be nice if Mal hadn't had to go through... but then, I wouldn't have met him, and I guess I love him enough to not meet him... and anyway, so yeah, Soulmonger."
"Are you a Miss or a Sir?"

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
"Hey brat, don't go trying to make decisions on my part and don't go bringing the past into the present. What's done is done and besides I'm sure I'd be worse off if I never met ya,sis."
You can feel the snakes you ingested on the third floor wriggle in your stomachs. She waits for you to finish speaking.
"WHAT AN INTERESTING GROUP OF PEOPLE.
YOU SEEK THE SOULMONGER? I KNOW NOTHING OF THIS SOULMONGER, BUT THERE MAY BE A COINCIDENCE UPON US. ALL OTHER MATTERS ARE TRIVIAL. I HAVE HAD HORRIBLE OMENS OF LATE. A FALLEN PALADIN NAMED RAS NSI AND HIS YUAN-TI FOLLOWERS HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED AND SEEKS TO END THE WORLD YOU INHABIT. I HAVE SENSED THAT THIS MAY BE CONNECTED TO THE SOULMONGER YOU SPEAK OF.
I REMEMBER THE FIRST UPRISING OF RAS N'SI A LONG TIME AGO. HE MUST BE DESTROYED. YOU WILL FIND HIM IN THE LOST CITY OF OMU. BENEATH THE CITY, YOU MAY FIND THIS SOULMONGER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO INVESTIGATE THIS, AND DESTROY RAS NSI, I WILL INFUSE YOU WITH A GIFT FROM THE GODS OF CHULT."
Musharib bows even lower, his head nearly touching the floor.
Clayton mumbles, “Well in my culture, they ain’t.” As he very tentatively does the same. Whack with tulip, stroke with feather, swallow.

Bree, Clayton, and Yasei-san wiggle up to the highest level.
Feeling the snake inside you would require using words not yet invented, so we will leave that description to your imagination.
OOC: I call it... snaiggly

Slithered does not hesitate to do all that same stuff as well.
Once we're all on top i'll proceed.
