OOC: Just a little preemptive planning for my next move - how close are we all bunched up? Since Yasei is a hobbled mover right now (moving at a whopping 7.5 feet....that's quarter speed, per round), just wondering if Yuan-ti9 or Yuan-ti10 are within range of her?
If Bree is still alive, it's your turn. Wow, I rolled badly this round.
Shariel twitches for a moment as a primal shreech rings through her mind. NangNang's warning was good, just not quite enough. In a flash, Shariel disappears from sight and reappears behind the yuan-ti, though the arrow found its mark by the gash in Shariel's arm.
(Defensive Step on the first attack, 2pts, reaction: +4 AC (19 total, still a hit), and teleport 20' away (behind the yuan-ti crowd. 6 of 18 hp left. Get the dino!!!)
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
OOC: I'm not sure of the spacial placement of which Yuan-ti (9 or 10?) is closest to Yasei, so I'm just going to attack the one closest to Shariel.
Yasei, feeling like part of her soul has been torn asunder, hobbles over to the Yuan-ti that Shariel has been attacking, says "Hello my pretty" to her wakizashi, and then proceeds to attack the yuan-ti two handed with her katana:
Attack (two handed katana): 20 with 9 slashing damage.
After following through with her slash, she once again stumbles backwards as far as she can hobble, and settles into her “Stone Stance” fighting stance (gives +2 to her AC while she’s standing there like a stone)
OOC > While I really like the image of Bree riding a fire-breathing Bumble into combat, I'm not sure it's worth the risk. In my mind, it would take an Acrobatics (+4) success to grab the lead rope and vault into position, then an Animal Handling (+0) success to get Bumble to do what she wants (Dragon's Breath is a bonus action, thankfully). Then, of course, Dragon's Breath is an area effect spell, and we're a little low on hit points (also why Bree hasn't used Sleep, it would put the low hp party to sleep and keep the high hp Yuan-ti awake). The again... riding Bumble into battle is totally what Bree would do... and snake-godling Strawberry is insistent that Bree's ideas and plans are the BEST ideas and plans. Maybe she'll get Inspiration. Or maybe one of the Yan-ti will kill her again before she gets to act, and this will all be moot. She is the embodiment of Chaos! Woo!

(All that, and take an arrow to the face after Dragon's Breath is cast. Now we have a terrified/angry mini-ceratops with elemental breath! This is what we get for not thanking the dice gods for our rolls until now!)

A death curse is spreading across the land. Those who have ever been rssurected are slowly withering away and dying. No one knows where the source of this curse is coming from, but it must be stopped. Our adventuring party knows an ex-adventurer named Syndra Silvane on a personal level, and owes her a debt repaid. They all have been recruited to find out more about the source of the curse, and to end the threat. Rumors stated that the source of the death curse is being caused by a device known as the Soulmonger.
LIBERATION OF HRAKHAMAR
They were teleported to the jungles of Chult, started a base of operations at Port Nyanzaru, had some fun with the dinosaur races, and hired a guide named Musharib, an albino dwarf. Musharib agreed to lead them through the jungle, as he knows it well, in exchange for the liberation of his home of Hrakhamar. The journey through the jungle would take weeks, and was known to be very dangerous. Upon arrival at Hrakhamar, the mine was indeed cleared out of the firenewt force that invaded it, but at the cost of a party member. Luckily, another party member was found being held prisoner, and joined the party,
THE ORACLE OF OROLUNGA
The dwarves of Hrakhamar had a lead as to whom to talk to about finding out where the source of the curse my be coming from, and journeyed through the jungle again to Orolunga, where a wise god-like oracle might provide information. Upon completing a rite of passage, it was indeed correct, and the Oracle was able to tell the party that the source of the curse lies in the Forbidden City far to the south. They were infused with power from the Gods of Chult, and proceeded to journey to this lost city in search of answers. What is the Forbidden City? Who dwells there? What is the history of the Forbidden City? What lies beneath it?
THE FORBIDDEN CITY
Upon reaching the Forbidden City, the party has been attacked by a Yuan-Ti welcoming committee. Let us see how the battle fares for our brave adventurers, with so much at stake.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bree 5/20 hp
Strawberry/Papazotl: These companions of yours attack without regard for strategy or victory! That one charges in with no plan except to die foolishly! This one hides, and that one hides! Our plan is the one that will bring us victory, and free blessed Chult! Go now, little one!
Bree: And it sounds like fun!
Bree will scramble towards Bumble, gathering up the lead rope and vaulting into partial cover behind his frill (Acrobatics: 13).
As a Bonus Action, she will cast Dragon's Breath on him, allowing him to breath fire in a 15' cone for one minute. Dex save vs DC 12 or suffer 3d6 fire damage, half that on save.
Then she will urge him into battle, using Tides of Chaos to gain advantage (Animal Handling: 9).
...guess the jury is out on whether 12 is good enough. Bumble knows her, he likes her, she was hurt by the bad snake people... maybe Musharib calls out some commands from his burning hut...
OOC > No Wild Surge, since she used Tides of Chaos after casting Dragon's Breath, but it is primed and ready for the next time she casts a spell 1st level or higher.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
In order for you to pull this off (meaning to, on your turn, have Bumble breathe fire) you'd need to roll at least a 15, and at disadvantage (unless you have an ability that gives you advantage, then you just roll normal) because Strawberry is frightened. She is a pack animal, not a participating combatant. However, i'm always open to clever ideas, so those are the terms.

Maldrek will hit the closest Yuan-ti with his staff.
