Marva takes a moment to collect three raven feathers. She considers whether the horse hair is worth it, shrugs, and picks it up also, carefully tucking it all away in a pouch. She looks up when Groggahla appears with the ale. “Oh, good. Thank you so much for your help, Groggahla!” To the group, she says, “Okay, where to next? Didn’t Landrae suggest Patti’s General Store for the shovels and whatnot? I might want to pick up a few items there, myself.”
Mio does not pay much mind to the feathers or the hair. Neither does she pay much mind to the fact that Marva is picking it up. She does however say, "Pattie's General Store sounds like as good a place as any to hit up next."

Ruanathi exhales a sigh of relief at Groggahla's sudden change in demeanor. As the half-orc exits the brewery, Ruanathi bows slightly to Landrae. "Well done. I am in your debt."
He then takes hold of the bottle of brandy, lifts it to his nose, and savors the aroma (and hoping nothing is amiss with the the liquid)...
Ruanathi (13), your investigation reveals that this is a very fine bottle of strong brandy. A sniff gives off a pleasant aroma that you deduce would be far more enjoyable as a nightcap or with a meal. (If you still wish to take a drink, Roll: Constitution Save)
(The bottle contains about 5 glasses or cups of liquor.)
Keeping her voice low, Landrae winks at Ruanathi, "There's no debt, it wouldn't have been a great start to our job if Groggahla had brained you with one of Gundren' kegs."
The offered gift seems to incite a mixed look from Landrae, "You can look after the bottle... I... errr... I'd rather not make a start this early, yes, save it for later." Landrae's words come out a bit hesitantly as Ruanathi savours the aroma of the bottle's contents, then she blurts out the last before turning on her heel. Stopping at the exit and turning back towards the room with a graceful bow to Brandy she adds, "Lovely to meet you Brandy, thank you for the gift, and I'll stop in when I'm next back this way. Shall we make a move to the next stop Ruanathi, seems we're all caught up here and the others are all outside?"
Groggahlafinished securing the kegs of ale to the wagon and turned to the party, "Thank you for your patronage.", she said in a beautifully elegant, almost sensuous, voice. She began to make her way back down the alley when a scream erupted from down the street.
"LOOK OUT! SPOOKED HORSE!! GET OUT OF THE ROAD!!!, yells a young man. A warhorse with plated-metal barding charges down the street and narrowly misses trampling a few people as its hooves thunder on the cobblestone.
The children playing in the street begin to scream and run to their mothers on the corner, but a young boy trips and falls. His friend, a young girl, holding a small toy shield pauses to help her friend. The warhorse charging closer let out a screaming neigh causing the young girl to lookup and freeze in terror.
ROLL FOR INITIATIVE!
(Two children (15ft from the party) are in the path of a spooked warhorse charging 40ft away and closing. One of the children is prone.)
(Ruanathi, you gain advantage(Roll Twice) on Initiative from the ravens' warning. Marva you gain advantage on your first actionfor acquiring the tuff of horse hair.)

Marva sees the oncoming warhorse and then notices the two children who are in its path. She runs to the children, swoops down to grab them each by the arm, and attempts to drag them out of the way. (Athletics or Acrobatics? The former is +1, the latter is +0. 7 )

2# Marva, as you run to pick the children you only have enough time to grab one child at a time. If the boy was on his feet then you may have been able to grab both of them. (Make an Athletics grapple action on the girl with +Advantage+ or the prone boy +Advantage+/-Disadvantage- = Normal Roll)
Ruanathi positions himself between the children and the charging horse. After he does so he points toward the ground in front of the horse and utters, "Weeds and vines, grow and grasp. Slow this creature in your clasp!"
Movement: 20'
Action: Cast entangle (the warhorse is restrained if it fails a DC 13 STR save)
EDIT: By the way, Ruanathi did gulp down one shot of the the brandy before stepping outside.
1# Ruanathi, (Game Log Roll: CON Save 10 PASSEDfrom shot of brandy) A nearby flower peddler's cart explodes as flowery vines and petaled stems attempt to bind the frighten animal. Warhorse STR Save 9PASSED. Its fearful flight will not be stopped, but hopefully the pleasant flowery scent may have soothe the creature fears... at least a little.
2# Marva, the frightened girl you try to help shouts out in fear, "NO!", as she cowers away from your grasp.
Mio pulls on her bow and takes aim from where she stood. She looses an arrow toward the war horse. She does not intend to kill it but she hopes that an arrow would deter it from charging forward or at the very least, redirect its attention toward her.
(Groggahla's Special Brandy is worth 25g)
