“We should search and tie these up before they wake” says celesta. She searches them for anything of interest or value. (22 investigation in campaign log)
Once Tellior has seen to Kellen, he looks over to Celesta. "I of course can help you. Though I don't think I have anything to bind them with. Do you Kellen?"
After asking the gnome, he turns back to Celesta. "Make sure you see what the satyr has. Didn't that person that ran off hand him something?"
Tellior smiles as he comes over. "Perfect. That will work. I just hope rope will contain THAT." He indicates the darkling. "I could see it slipping away."
"Oh! Parolanta! PLEASE keep an eye on the slippers would you?" He gives the fairy a brief look before turning his attention back to help Celesta.
“Thank you both, that was quite deep”Kellen stands, regaining the color in his face, and moves his shoulder around. Seeing Celesta and Tellior pull out the coil of rope, he bends to help “I can help, I am good with knots” Sleight of Hand for tying the creatures 22 (with advantage due to help from Celesta or Tellior)
Tell, you may want to check on the Satyr as well, Ember got him pretty good. I wonder why he was just standing there, was that your doing, Parolanta?"
Tellior heals Kellen with a gentle touch and inspects what is left of the wound. It seems to have healed nicely. There isn’t any evidence of poison or other unusual or lasting harm beyond your average stabbing. As you tie up the satyr and darkling, Parolanta maintains guard over the slippers and responds to Kellen’s question, “Oh, yes, I used Confusion hoping it would slow them all down. It certainly was effective on that satyr, at least. Then, once they were weakened enough, I used Sleep to knock them out. Nice spell for taking captives. Lady Daneliean will definitely want to investigate what these delinquents were doing that couldn’t be witnessed.”
Meanwhile, Celesta searches the satyr and darkling. The former still has the pouch that he hid away as soon as the fight started. It contains 200 gp. He also has a below-average quality shortsword and shortbow and worn leather armor dyed black. The living darkling has a dagger and black leather armor as well, worn under a hooded cloak and scarf that seem to protect her face. If she searches around in the ashes that are the only remains of the dead darkling, she finds only random bits of metal and a dagger without a handle. It seems that the death flash burned everything that he carried except for metal.
At this point, Lydia and Frendamus emerge from the shop where they were hiding. “You all were brilliant!” says Frendamus. “We watched the whole thing from the window over there. You are quite the experienced fighters, it seems. Well done. How about I carry the slippers, just in case anyone else feels the need to attack us?”
“I feel like I should have helped, but I’m only used to hunting game. I would have come out if things looked dire. But as Frendamus says, you handled the situation quite well. Lady Daneliean is right to put her trust in you,” says Lydia.

"Thank you Parolanta for keeping guard on the slippers. You have been amazingly helpful today. And Frendamus, they are your slippers, so you certainly may carry them. Do be careful though."
Tellior then looks to the others. "I guess we wake the two captives and get them back to the palace? I'm ready to make it safely back!"
Ember sheathed his sword and collected a dagger from the darkling pocketing it for later and returning the dagger he borrowed to its owner (dont remember who it was)
If the darkling or the satyr is a similar size to ember he will take leather armor too.

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Tellior comes over to Celesta and says, "I would hope we might keep the coins for having captured these two. But we probably should give them over to the Lady, and let her decide. I'd hate to run afoul of any Feywild rules."
Tellior gives Celesta a smile. "If you agree of course. And the others." He glances at Triss, Kellen, and Ember for their reaction.
As Tellior suggests waking the prisoners, they are just coming around, looking very surly as they do. (It would be difficult to get the poor quality leather armor off the satyr now that he is already tied up with rope. Ember could try it if he really wants to, but he would risk the now-alert and hostile satyr getting loose.) Frendamus carefully picks up the blanket that is wrapped around the slippers. You all head toward the palace. Your prisoners are not eager to cooperate, but between all of you they can’t really resist your wishes.
(You can continue your discussion of what to do with the gold on the way, but I am also going to continue the narration.)
When you were leaving the palace, your attention was primarily on the remarkably tall hedges that bordered the road before you. Now as you return, you have grown used to them and the palace that rises before you has your full attention. It is an elegant building with soaring towers of rose-pink granite. Ivy and rose vines climb it here and there without taking it over completely. Unusually delicate-looking gargoyles are carved at the tops of columns here and there. In the continual twilight of Hedgegrove, it seems to radiate its own warm glow. It is beautiful. And you are eager to leave the unpredictable dangers of the streets behind you.
Just as you approach the entrance, you notice some lovely carvings around the door, rather like you had seen inside when you first arrived. These ones have symbols of the sun, moon, stars, and wind, amongst others. Observing these carvings, Ember suddenly shudders again, like he did after passing through the last leyline intersection.
(Please roll a Wisdom saving throw, Ember)

Celesta says “I agree on the coins- we should offer them to the Lady first. Quite a princely sum. I had no idea when we left how much adventure we would find just getting these slippers!”

“Now, now, let’s not be hasty”Kellen pipes in “No one needs to know about the gold. I think it is reasonable to split it amongst ourselves, sort of a finder’s fee if you will” He pauses as he sees Parolanta with the party she would know he thinks. Kellen grumbles “Very well then, let’s leave it up to the Lady’s good graces”
He gives the prisoners a sideways glance “I trust the Lady will find out what these two were up to, as well as the mysterious elf who paid them.”

Parolanta is zipping ahead and doesn’t seem to notice the conversation about the gold. Neither does she notice Ember stop in his tracks, staring at the carvings. He suddenly feels like there is something terribly malevolent about the symbol of the moon. Fear grips his usually sturdy heart and he can’t take another step toward it. (He is frightened.)
Tellior, walking just a step behind Ember, passes him up, noticing that he has stopped. After getting a few steps ahead he pauses himself and turns. "What are you doing Ember? Let's get the slippers to the Queen!"
