Myles again strikes at the automaton, whiffing the first blow, but the second making good contact while its attention is trained on Tortimer and Satsuma.
The latter throws out several strong blows, two of them making solid contact and sending cracks through the automaton's 'skin'.
Despite being pinned by the telekinetic abilities of the enemy, Tortimer manages to land a strong jab.
Sera's spell wraps its spidery fingers around the automaton, squeezing and locking itself into place. As it does, movement from the party's enemy stops and it collapses into a pile, now fit to be part of the debris it crawled through.
The is automaton dead and the house is seemingly holding together, despite the collapsing ceiling. At the other end of the hall remain the two closed doors, undisturbed during the fight. What will you all do?
"I'm doing fine," Myles replies, brushing himself off. "And yes, might as well check the body under it." He looks to the motionless automaton warily, and checks its body for anything significant, and what the snake bracelets were exactly.
Sera: Looking through the debris, you'd recognize it's the hallway that leads back to the entry hall, past the door you all entered into the dining room from.
Myles:Apart from hard material that the automaton's shell is made from and its clay face, you don't find anything on the body. It appears as though the bracelets that the snakes burst from have disappeared upon its death.
Tortimer: The doors remain closed. They might've jostled in place with the force of the magic released during the fight, but they're not anymore sealed or open than they were before.
Tortimer grunts and shoves his staff out towards the automaton, trying to get a hit in as it passes.

"Well then." Tortimer mumbles as he stands, "That was a ringing success. Anyone seriously injured?"
"I'm feeling a little... disturbed by the whole ordeal. But considering... I'm doing rather well," Sera replies back to Tortimer.
Then she redirects toward the debris, "I'd like to see what is on the other side of this debris. Shall we attempt to dismantle it?"
As an afterthought she also mentions, "Oh and this emblem seems important. It might have some relation toward that cryptic message we saw earlier."

Tortimer glances down the hallway and moves to check to see if any of the doors were disturbed during the fight.
Tortimer: The doors remain closed. They might've jostled in place with the force of the magic released during the fight, but they're not anymore sealed or open than they were before.
“So which door?” Tortimer asks craning his head back to look at the group.
