Waddling over to the kobold, Zanna gave the items a cursory glance, looking skeptical. "I don't think you need my help for these ones, do you?" The wizard did not think it needed two arcane-bent minds to decipher a scroll and a wand. Still, she would wait for Smudge's reply, at his side, if he needed any help. 

“I can’t identify the wand, but more importantly, we should see if that haggard individual was contained here. I don’t trust prisoners by default.”

"There are also these two potions I found on the kobold - we should look at these too" Thasa says offering them up for investigation as well as checking them himself.

Investigation 8

Zanna sighed. Identifying wands wasn't something in her capability at the moment. "Let's keep it. Later on, we might try to find what it does." In the absence of clear evidence, Zanna was not sure what they could discern about their elf prisoner. It certainly pitiful situation, and he looked terrible. Before she could monologue more in her mind, Thasa offered up the potions in his care. She extended her hand to them. "Let me try identifying them."

Arcana 16 : Zanna tries to see what kind of potions they are. 

Zanna looks at the potions. She has seen some of those before, sniffing and looking she turns to the others. 

 Potion of Animal Friendship and Potion of healing

OOC: Decide who takes it and add it to your equipment as potions. Thasa and Shaylin should do a religion check

Sage looks at Zanna and then looks at the elf she is holding. She bites her lip deep in thought and still rather curious about who the elf actually was. Only shrugging, Sage remains deep in thought.

"Why don't we give Sage the healing potion, she is going to be in the front of many of our fights I imagine and might need it most. Scrolls seem like wizardly or clerical things and if anyone wants that potion, then I suggest they say.  Do we have any way of identifying the wand?"

Well those robes show he worships Correlon, he must be a good person to worship such a good so I doubt we have too much to fear from him, unless of course the captivity has made him crazy." Thasa says this while looking carefully at the old elf. "It never hurts to be careful"

At those words the ancient elf mumbles to Sage. 

"You can put me down now. But I will need to.rest for a while." For some reason those words make him smile

“Good people can still be dangerous.” Smudge keeps one hand near his dagger, and the talons on that hand seem to momentarily be coated in a thin layer of frost.

”Let him rest, Sage. Knit him a blanket for all I care. But none of you lose your heads. Everything in this whole damn place could be lie and death trap.”

Smudge stares off towards the sound of pages , narrowing his eyes. 

“I’m not headed in there alone” he murmurs to himself

Zanna hands over the potion of healing to Sage. The elf had woken up, but gone to bed again. Tired, no doubt. "What do we do him? We can't keep him with us, you know." 

OOC: Who wants the potion of animal friendship?

"I'll keep you company maybe a few more of us want to come too though" Thasa looks at the Cleric before saying "Are you strong enough to tell us what happened to you?"
