"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"Ah yes, renting horses is typically fifteen galifars a day per horse if you aren't planning on bringing them back here. We have other enclaves scattered through Karrnath, of course, but the cost of getting the horses back home makes it complicated." Tiria shrugs, then adds with a smile. "But if it weren't for you all, we wouldn't be able to keep an enclave here much longer at all, without feed for the animals. So I'm willing to knock it down to five galifars a day per horse. Which, if you're riding all the way to the capital, would be a hundred and fifty galifars for three horses. Or, if you're just going to Atur and planning on taking the lightning rail from there, eighty three galifars for three horses. Either way, you can drop the horses off at your destination and be charged or reimbursed if it took less or more time to arrive than anticipated by the price. I'll send you with a note about the discount."
"I think combined we do have that kind of money. And at least can reach Atur. So... Atur or straight to the capital? Maybe we can decide in Atur." Adaliza smiled to the woman. "We take the horses."
"Wonderful, then that will be eighty three gold," Tiria says cheerfully.
She brings out three horses, all the same shade of brown. They have lighter brown manes and shimmering amber eyes. The three horses give you friendly whickers as Tiria brings them over, her Mark glowing faintly. "Three of our fastest. They'll get you to Atur by the end of the week. Let me go get the tack." She ducks into a side room to get gear for the horses.
Serandis hands over 85 gold pieces. "We can figure out who owes who what later on, let's just get these mounts and be about our business." When the woman mentions that Serandis gave her too much she will say, "For your generosity. It is not forgotten." She will smile as she gets on her mount and tells Citron, "There's a place for you up here, my small friend."

"I don't think this is how you ride horses," smiled Adaliza, "you use reins to direct them. But I'd like to know their names too if only to call when you give to your favourite an apple."
"Oh, we haven't named them, you can come up with that if you want," Tiria says with a dismissive wave. "We tend to find that new owners or renters like to come up with their own names, it helps with the bond."
The horse Citron is talking to gives a whicker and a funny look to the floating horned person whispering in its ear.
"Funny Look, we'll take good care of you," Serandis says to her mount as she strokes his mane. "Who would like to lead the way?"

(Alright sorry, wasn't expecting week after midterms to be so distracting. I'll move you guys to the road--I would then like a marching order and for you to let me know anything you'd like to do during travel. Roleplay scenes, evening downtime activity, etc.)
You pay for the horses and then mount up, heading out of town. Soon you're on the road, the grey sky above threatening rain, though none has fallen quite yet.
Citron looks up from his perch atop Funny Look "Looks like rain....hopefully we can find somewhere dry soon.....sugar melts, and shit clumps in the rain..."

"The road is not that bad for the rain to hinder the travelling," disagreed Adaliza, though only on the subject of roads. "Don't worry, we will be in Atur in no time."
You all get moving. The horse ride to Atur will take about five days.
You ride for three days, during which it basically never stops at least drizzling. You pass through the fort of Bastion and the narrow gap between the Ashen Spires and the Karrnwood, and are two days from Atur.
The sun is going down on a particularly wet day as you approach the edges of a small town, far smaller than the relatively large town of Teryk. As you near the town's border, you notice something strange about the workers in the fields--they're skeletons! Most of the figures doing the menial work of the fields are skeletons, with a few living farmers keeping an eye on them and giving any new instructions.
Adaliza:
You know that using nonsentient undead like skeletons and zombies for menial work is typical for Seeker communities, even if Karrnath abandoned the practice after the break from the Blood of Vol. Which means this is likely a Seeker community.
"There's something you don't see every day Serandis, skeletons earning an honest wage doing an honest days work...." and he'll smile as he sips from his tankard.

"Their souls departed, but the bodies continue to serve their community, as those people wanted. Not every country gets the luxury to be wasteful, some have to use every means to simply survive. Seeker communities do what they can." Adaliza was not angry or anything, she simply informed the tourists about local traditions.
The four of you make your way to the inn, which proves to be a small building with firelight flowing out of the windows. As you duck inside, you see there is only one other group of patrons inside right now, a group of four elves. Three of them are seated around a table eating, while the fourth, a lanky man with shimmering silver gloves, is leaning against the counter talking to the innkeep. They all glance up at you briefly before everyone but the innkeep and the elf at the counter goes back to what they were doing before. The innkeep waves you over. "Two sets of travelers in one night, who would have guessed? What can I do for you all?" The elf merely gives you all a cordial smile and watches you curiously.
Serandis:
On one of the elves at the table, you catch a glimpse of a leafy skull tattoo across her face as she glances up at you before going back to her food, and you recognize the tattooing style as Aereni.
