As the magic healing flows into his body, the rangers demeanor and posture both noticeably improve. 'Oy, thanks pal, I needed that. Took a real beating in here.'
As they complete their search of the room and unlock the chest, Drego deftly reaches out and scoops up the coin purse before Stitch can get ahold of the bag of 'shinies'. 'Hang on, we're all gonna share what we find in here, but I'll see if they'll let you keep the bag.' He glances towards Robin at this last bit, looking for an ally in managing the mischievous goblin.
Seeing the familiar flowing script of his mother's tongue, Drego scoops up the slip of paper and reads it out loud for all to hear 'Well then, that explains the mess here, but it seems as if this was only a faint.'
Stitch tries in vain to grab the bag of coins from Drego as he holds it just out of stitch’s reach. When Drego mentions that stitch can keep the bag, and he gets some of the shinies, he seems a bit happier. (I feel like I should point out that Stitch wasn’t in the best shape either when he healed Drego. 3/16 but he wanted to help the person that saved him so... yeah)
As Stitch weakly jumps for the bag, Drego notices for the first time just how badly the little gobbo is hurt. Cursing himself for not noticing before he let himself be healed he scoops Stitch up into his arms and moves them into a corner of the room, calling to the rest of the team as he does 'We need a couple of minutes here, Stitch is hurt pretty badly.'
The ranger pulls off his cloak and makes a small pile on the floor, plopping the goblin in the center. Rummaging in his bag he finds handful of the jerky/nut/fruit ration combo he carries with him and spreads it out in front of Stitch. The act of hunting and finding the individual nuggets and pieces normally distracts the goblin long enough for Drego to get things done. Only once suitably distracted and comforted does he begin carefully checking the little one over, looking to see where his meager medical knowledge can help.
Stitch immediately begins sorting through the various snacks and has completely lost interest, for now, in the stick and the bag of shinies. He is completely focused on arranging his new treats in whatever order fancies him at this moment.
Robin: The wand radiates evocation magic and the bag transmutation. You do not sense any other magic in the area beyond your companions' common magic items.
Case stands there as Robin helps heal the small goblin. Seeing everyone sufficiently cared for, he goes and stands next to the stairway, guarding it with his mace out, should skeletons start emerging.

Stitch looks up and Robin a bit startled by the contact and then settles a bit as he feels a wave of healing wash over him that’s very similar to his own. He gives her a big smile and his customary “I am Stitch.” And goes back to sorting his snacks and picking out his favorite morsels among what’s available to him.
Pieste Mor scoffs and lets a cloud of dark smoke escape their nostrils as the metal being takes credit for downing the enemy. The dragon later cringes when they naively throw open the chest with no caution nor care for their teammates. Still and all, as long as we keep them out front and taking the most damage then they may be worth more than the harm they cause...
Maybe.
Curious about the wand and the contents of the chest, of course, the dragon is curiouser still about the bones... After some judicious shaking off of the ick that covered everyone (and perhaps a bit of Prestidigitation to boot) the dragon would go land upon their reliable perch - Jax's shoulders. "mmmmm, seems that they were gathering dead to cause the dreadful side effect, yes?" The dragon asks mostly rhetorically. "... can't help but wonder if there is a way to prevent it from continuing..."
Arcana: 0 to see if PM knows if there is a way to "sanctify" the bones or something so they cannot continue the ill effects, or be used to create such again.
"still and all... one does wonder if it is just bones in the pile..." And being one who does enjoy a good tibia to chew upon, Pieste Mor will cautiously fly over to the pile of bones and start investigating...
Investigation: 5 to really just see if it is just bones or if there's anything else mixed in... If they're in any kind of ritualistic formation or just a big pile... And if there's a couple good chew toys.
Case follows the tiny dragon down the stairs, just to the bottom and no further, so he can keep an eye on the creature and come to it's defence if necessary. His shield is up and his mace is in his hand, at the ready.

As PM heads down into the basement, he sees that the bones are not in a single large pile, but rather dozens of smaller piles laid out in rows, as if there were skeletons standing here that suddenly just collapsed, the magic animating them destroyed.
PM has no idea if there's any way to sanctify the bones or anything, as far as he knows it's Mabaran undead that do the damage to local life--he has no clue if these bones even would have the same effect, never mind how to stop it.
Case steps to the nearest pile of bones, and stomps on them. He begins attempting to crush the bones down to dust by stomping on them a lot. As he does so he says, "Bone is a good source of calcium and very valuable in crop maintenance. Though, in this case, these bones may be tainted and not valuable for such a use. Best we just grind them to dust."

Robin picks up the magical bag and adds it to her backpack, to study later. She then would move to join the others, her detect magic still going. She would look around the chamber with the bones, seeking anything out of place or of interest, other than the bones that is.
Robin: You are absolutely certain that until extremely recently, these belonged to unliving skeletons that then collapsed. Other than that, you do not see anything interesting in the room.
"Well, this is all fine and good, but it seems we have dealt with the issue here." Robin says with a shrug, turning from her examination of the room. "Nothing more here to find. Shall we backtrack, making sure we didn't miss any doors, then head back to town?"
Assuming Jax sees nothing notable or identifying in the piles of bones, he nods. "Yes, time to go. Did we check everything upstairs?"
He walks up, into the room, and looks around, wondering what this building was. As he leaves the room, he walks into the hall and sees two doors they hadn't opened yet. He opens the nearest one a crack, pauses, and then slams it open, weapon ready.
Case looks up from stomping on bones as the group is deciding to leave. He glances down at the numerous bones yet to be stomped. "But...there are more bones yet to be stomped.....fine...fine..." he stomps on one more bone as the group walks up the stairs and then follows them.

Robin continues casting her ritual, so is oblivious to other things going on currently.
Jax is still staring down the stairs, looking for any movement or sound in the bones.

Robin finishes her casting of detect magic. If she then learns of the goblin's injuries, she would cast cure wounds on him. Healing for: 10
