"A message we do not understand?" Robin asked with a frown. She pulls out the message they took from the place they fought the skeletons and holds it up. "Would this be the message do you think?" She asks. "What guideance can you give to us on the meaning?"
“… could have used those details to test their premonition abilities,” PM whispers with a sigh but then gives a shrug. “…alas, wrong or unknown details are always blamed on the vagaries of the sight anyway, I suppose..”
Case opens his big mouth and starts speaking, "The message we bring to the crown is fairly simple. It reads, "Taersis, When you have a hundred skeletons, place them in the bag and set them loose upon Teryk. Once the town is destroyed, move on to Bastion. Our Queen requires Karrnath’s army to be distracted to the east if her plan in Korth is to succeed. -The Avaestasi". Warlord Geron Karlach believed that this implied there was a threat to the crown in Korth. This is the message we bring. It seems...self evident. Can you tell us which part of our message is misunderstood?"

Seeing nothing of note (at least I assume not) Stitch pulls out his pair of shiny rocks and begins clacking them together while the rest of the group converses with the mummy they just saved from near certain death.
The mummy examines the note as he leads you all to the temple. "Do you know what this plan in Korth is?" he inquires. "Or the identity of either this Avaestasi or their Queen?"
Case stares at the undead, "We are to hand deliver this letter to the authorities in Korth. I have superiors there in the military that I'm likely to report this to as well. We have no other information regarding this plot, but if they are seeking to distract armies, then we can assume it includes troop movements or military activity. I'd guess with undead, based on the actions of whomever wrote this letter."

Vorik nods. "But it would be beneficial for you to have as much certain information to give to them as possible, yes?" he rasps. "Give me the night to prepare, and I can cast a divination in the morning to try to clarify the situation. Which does, of course, require me to survive the night."
This Blood of Vol temple is a rather larger than the one in Teryk, probably because it serves the whole town rather than just the few dozen people who lived in the temple in Teryk. Vorik stops in the anteroom and hands the message back to Robin.
Case nods, "I believe this is a worthy use of a day. Since it is morning. I will keep guard on you until then." He pulls out his shield, and his mace, and turns to face the nearest door, ready. He stands there.....motionless......just staring at the doorway. He may very well intend to stand like a statue there for 24 hours.

“Should we try to get some eyes on the roof and the streets outside to see if they return, and can give some warning? They seemed like frontal assaults would not be their only tactic.”Jax says, and he offers to back up Case, because he’s not that good at keeping watch.
"...be the eyes in the skies, that I can do," Pieste Mor suggests. Unless there is more planning they are required for, the Dragon will find perches nearby from which to spy upon the Blood of Vol temple and keep an eye out for the party of elves from the bar. They will move periodically and randomly from one of the other, doing their best to cover all doors pretty regularly.
Case sends his flying automaton after PM. Best to have people pair up so they don't get picked off by accident. The creature tries to stay hidden near PM and watches for trouble as well.

Vorik nods. "I would like to do some praying on my own in the chapel for a bit, if you don't mind. I do not think they will attack again immediately, given the surprise you seem to have given them." He indicates a large set of double doors and slips through them.
About an hour passes (you guys can take a SR), and you are settled into your stations when suddenly PM and Case's automaton, while on another loop of the church exterior, notices a mouse sitting on one of the foyer windows. The mouse is not acting like a normal mouse--rather, it seems to be tapping lightly on the glass, trying to get the attention of the people inside. It turns its head back to look up at the sky as you pass by, tail flicking but definitely not running the way you'd expect a mouse to when a dragon goes overhead.
Inside, those of you in the foyer hear a soft tapping on a window. Looking to see the source, you see a mouse staring in at you and tapping the window with one paw. It looks up at the sky briefly, then turns back to the window and its tapping.
Pieste Mor would attack… If just a normal mouse it would be snack sized, but it’s actions suggest it’s a familiar and except for Case’s mechanized chew toy, PM is unaware of us having one…
Case looks to the window. “I see a mouse acting strangely, it seems to be trying to get our attention….” There’s a bright splash of flames that slam into the mouse sending charred mouse bits scattering against the glass. “Now it appears to have exploded. This is most worrying.”

PM shoots the fire bolt, and it hits. An explosion of green light is visible from outside, and sitting on the windowsill in the mouse's place, looking mildly annoyed, is Shaehas, the elf with the leafy skull tattoo on her face. She glances up at the sky (specifically the dragon who just shot her) with a "really?" look and gestures at the ground in front of her, glancing inside and making the same motion to those of you indoors. She clearly wishes for you to either open the window to let her in or come outside to talk to her.
Seeing the danger has passed, Stitch searches the surroundings for any dropped pocket change.
