Promise comes huffing up the area and catches up with you, "I'm okay, that flood caught me off guard." (I'll bot her until her player returns or we finish this area should we continue). You all climb up the passage and come to a fork. From the left side, you smell a horrid mix of smells of cooking, poorly cured hides, and other awful smells. The right seems to curve up towards where you saw the bridge. As you reach the fork and pause for a moment, you hear a second flood of water come down the stream behind you.
"I consider Gundren a close friend, but more importantly, he has invested in my research, so I owe him this."Oppleby answers Salty Paul before continuing up the western tunnel. Perception:15 Stealth:5 "Another one, I´d be intersted to see how they managed to construct the means of sending several waves down the tunnel." Oppleby whispers and scratches his head as the second flood comes. "Let´s move on under cover of that noise."
Paul chuckles quietly, because he now sees he was obviously joking about giving up on this doomed heroic quest. He will follow along behind Oppleby, less concerned about stealth than he is about keeping a lookout for more goblin attackers. Perception 3

Keashirryl shakes her head. "He's not a friend of mine. Not that it counts. I'm in his debt for saving me some uncomfortable moments." And, she thinks to herself, the mystery he was caught up in intrigues me about as much as the flooding mechanism interests Oppleby. Still, it is probably not worth dying for. She sighs quietly. What woud He do? The answer makes her frown, but she keeps going. She tries to be silent, but does not have high hopes. Stealth: 4
"Stay within reasonable distance." she says to Promise. "In case anything happens, I want to be able to heal you."

You all move to the right towards area 7. This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams. They are empty and slowly refilling. A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear. Three goblins are looking around, weapons out.

"I´ll get you for that deluge." Oppleby snarls at the goblins and fires another rocket like bolt at closest goblin. Light crossbow: 5 Damage: 8 He then backs up in cover of the wall, hopefully about 3/4.
(OOC: Actually I meant to go west to area 6 but never mind :-)
Keashirryl reaches for her holy symbol but changes her mind in the middle of the action. She rushes forward, engaging with the goblin Oppleby attacked, swinging her mace. Attack: 22 for 5 damage. "I'm so tired of you people." she grumbles.

"Get off her you dungrat!" Oppleby shouts at the goblin attacking Keashirryl and fires a fiery mote at it with his Blazooka. Firebolt: 13 Damage: 4 "Clock him good Salty Paul." He says to the pugilist.
(OOC: Umm, are you sure Promise has any healing spells. I thought she was our tank and Keashirryl was our primary healer?)
Salty Paul charges after the goblin who is heading for area 8. "Whoa there, little fella! The party is just getting started!" He will dash so he should make up some ground on the critter if that one is using its action to dodge.

(ooc: Thank you for taking control of Promise, I lost internet access after a certain point in August ;-; She can lose the extra lay of hands now. Can she use her action to Help Keashirryl instead of readying a healing spell?)
Keashirryl pushes her palm against the newest wound, sees that things are not working out for her, and she takes the disengage action before backing up from melee. If possible, she backs up against a wall.
Promise takes a step back, aims carefully, and then launches her spear at the last remaining gobling after Keashirryl has moved out of the way 12 for 8 piercing damage.
If the gobo Salty Paul is chasing continues to try to run on its turn and doesn't disengage, Salty Paul will absolutely attempt an opportunity attack.
Throwing it up now just in case: Attack: 21 Damage: 9
In case the gobo uses dodge again, here is a 2nd attack roll for disadvantage... 21
(And if the goblin doesn't move out of reach... I guess we can just save this for the next attack roll Paul does attempt...).
