Barty's "Beyond Twilight" (Rikirta Part 3)

Garu Investigation: 10

The slain humanoids are barely recognizable, but appear to be human or elven. Garu is unable to determine their exact method of death, but the wounds appear to have been created by something slashing or slicing them.

(Unless input is needed, Aisha and tsavi are stacking to the shadows, and following but not entering... unless something happens like an attack or the party moving into another door, etc.)

Garu looks over the bodies, offering a quick prayer, then looks at Harmony and says, "We need to find the creatures that killed them and put them in the light."

Harmony had heard Garu, nodding back in agreement. "Yes, we should help to keep future innocents from being killed by the creatures." she said back to her.

OOC: Ready to advance once an action is taken.

Garu nods to Harmony. "Let's see what's behind door number 2" and heads out of the door they entered to look for the next one.

There does not appear to be another door in these chambers.

Entrance Area Description:

The room below the stairway is filled with foggy air. The wall is lined with roughly carved orange rock, and all is deathly quiet. At the opposite end of the room is a lone doorway.

Second Room Area Description:

The door opens to a 15-by-15-foot chamber heavy with the scent of rotten flesh. Three humanoid creatures lay before you on the ground, their clothes and bodies torn to pieces. There are no other exits visible in the room aside from the door you have entered through.

Garu starts scouring the floor, pushing away the bodies to see if anything is under them. She looks at Harmony and asks her to give her a hand trying to see if there is a hidden entrance. 

Harmony nods as she would also look for and assist with trying to find another entrance or anything that could be helpful. She felt so bad for the bodies who used to be living people.

As the others searched the room for hidden buttons or doors, Aisha instead turned around, keepign herself quiet, and facing her bow towards the entrance... watching for any movement. As... if there was no  other doors, this may have been an ambush or trap. Readying herself to fire on anyone who came from the way they came, with Tsavi watching Aisha's sides and rear.

While shifting the bodies, Garu notices small scratches in the stone floor, along with some disturbed stone indicating that something was dragged toward the far wall. Seeing an indentation there, the paladin is able to push open a section of the wall that rotates inward, revealing a 15-foot hallway of orange stone, leading to a closed stone doorway at the far end.

Studying the entrance carefully, Aisha sees no sign of any enemies preparing for ambush...yet.

Garu will motion to Harmony to get Aisha and Tsavi and will stay focused on the passageway.

OOC: No change since the last post, ready to advance once the next action is taken.

Once Harmony gets Aisha... she reluctantly follows. Tsavi knowign to stay stealthy and warn of anyone coming in.

Garu will get in place stealthfully at the door. Once everyone is stacked on either side of the doorway,  Garu will try the door handle to see if it is locked.

Harmony nods, making sure to get Aisha and Tsavi and have them come along with her.

The door is unlocked, and opens into a 25-by-15 foot room with a single door closed at its opposite end. Racks line the walls filled with hanging clothes of peasants, nobles, and religious garb. Most of the clothing appears to be in good order, but a few of the outfits have visible blood stains upon them.

Aisha is still guarding the rear as the others explore the front.
