While Aisha provides healing for Harmony, she fires an arrow into the mummy again while Garu tears her sword across its flesh twice more. Still intent on T'savi, the creature flails but misses, groaning incoherently.
Round 12 Order: Enemies Players <=====
Placement: One mummy is fleeing, at least 70 feet away past the previous chamber. Garu and T'savi are engaged in melee combat with one mummy.
Health: The mummy fighting Garu and T'savi is grievously wounded. The fleeing mummy is badly wounded.
T'savi is wounded. Harmony is wounded. Aisha is lightly wounded. Garu is lightly wounded.
Aisha finally whistles so that T'savi goes on the offensive.. as dangerous as that may or may not prove to be... as she herself strings and pulls back on her bow, now that Harmony is farther from harm than she was. Though the fleeing mummy still gives her some cause for concern, it isn't here and for the moment, they just have to take this one down... and deal with whatever may come next.
T'savi's jaws closing on the mummies crotch (not that Tsavi would know it wouldn't be quite as effective as it would be on a .. living target) at the same time that Aisha herself let her arrow fly..
Distracted by T'savi, the mummy stumbles as Aisha's arrow strikes it in its forehead. Garu's sword tears through its chest a final time before it too falls still to the ground. The room returns to its deathly stillness once more.
Area Description:
Five coffins are laid out in a 25-by-25-foot chamber, three on the near side of the room, and two along the opposite wall. The carved orange rock walls are cleaner here, but one section has partially crumbled in a corner of the room, in disrepair from some shifting of earth above over the years. A secret door has opened on the far side of the room, leading into a zig-zagging passageway.
Aisha will cast healing on anyone who looks more than minorly wounded before sighing, looking at the room. She's tempted to check the coffins here, as they might just have some hidden treasure but as she doesn't know that vampires sleep in them, she doesn't think that they might be inside... so she looks to the new path.. readying her bow, and collecting any arrows she can..., crouching low and proceeding forward...
(Ooc on phone, I'll need stealth rolls and a perception roll from aisha and tsavi... aisha sight, tsavi smell. Sorry Barry, but I'll forget the modifiers by the time I get back ><)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: I'll assume stealth from Garu and Harmony as well then. Everyone is now at least above half health (my criteria for 'lightly wounded' in the descriptions) so I won't roll any healing for Aisha unless otherwise desired.
Aisha and T'savi lead you through the zigzagging hallway and into a curious chamber ahead.
The room is entirely empty, simply a 20-by-20-foot chamber with the same roughly carved orange rock walls as the rest of the caverns. However, the moment you set foot into the room, the sounds of a raucous tavern fill your mind. The language being spoken is one unfamiliar to all within the party, but you hear lively conversation, bawdy drinking songs, and orders being shouted.
Further ahead, a stairway descends out of the chamber.
After collecting her arrows as much as she could find and getting healed, Harmony would have followed the others stealthily. But then she heard all the sounds, very surprised and confused considering that the room is empty though. She looks to see Garu and Aisha's reactions, wondering how and why this is even happening.
Garu closes her eyes and offers a silent prayer to Tylyn. Looking around for the source of the noise, she listens to see if she can discern if it’s coming from the stairs or from some weird effect of this place.
”I sure could use a drink right now - let’s hope this bar is upstairs and friendly.”

Aisha was likely tired from her wall running. Something she had never done before, and hoped she wouldn't have to again but her normally quiet feet failed her for once.
Luckily, or unluckily there was noise all around to muffle all but the greatest blunders. Even as Garu began to look around, Aisha decided to test the noise in a different way.
She moved herself to where she had been just before the noises had came to her, to see if she still heard them.
If so.. she would slowly move farther away to see if it faded, or dissappeared suddenly..
Regardless of the result.. she would tell the others what she discerned, beforenreminding Garu "We are in some pit of bandits, and walking corrrpses, seeking out whatever a vampire is.. Aisha doubts we will find anything friendly here unless we've stumbled onto a secret entrance to some city"
The moment Aisha steps back into the hallway, the hubbub of the room ceases entirely, while Garu and Harmony still hear the ruckus of a seemingly invisible tavern around them.
"Garru, harremony..Harrison... it is an illusion of some kind. We must ignore it and press on" she says, not trusting the area to not be sone sort of trap, she tries to move everyone along..
The strange sounds of the tavern disappear as you move together down the stairs into a dusty chamber. A trio of desks along one wall match a trio of bookshelves lined with journals and tomes on the opposite wall. Each of the desks has a rusting and dusty candelabra, but appears otherwise empty.
Two stone doors lie closed in this chamber, one on the left wall and one on the opposite end of the room from the stairs.

Aisha, against her better judgement, moves to each bookshelf, and quickly scans the titled ... assuming they're in a language she understands.. looking for titles that aren't mundane (such as how to garden with halflings)
As well as scanning the scrolls if any, for maps, and reading the first line of text to look for anything that wasn't simply an accountant sheet or similar.
If nothing is found, she will shrug and move to deciding which door is the correct one. She suspects the candles may have something to do with something but... later and only if nessecary.
Investigation... 8 (passive 14)
Perception... Unable to parse dice roll. (passive 20)
The tomes lining the shelves cover a variety of topics, from geography and history to theology, while the journals contain historical lineages of seven prominent gnome families. The most recent records in the journal look to be from around 200 years ago but the records seem to be very detailed and complete.
The tomes as well seem to be written with a gnomish point of view, the titles indicating that the descriptions therein pertain to this region of Rikirta.
Aisha hesitates for a moment, before deciding that the journal(s) with the lineages would be worth taking. Only grabbing one of the historical or geographical ones I'd they seemed directly connected. And she didn't take too much time to determine this.
Regardless, once she had collected it, she turned to the conundrum of which door... logically the room was interconnected, and this seemed to be Parr of a hallway... which to her experience meant that the side door, rather than the one straight ahead was most likely a chamber of some kind, even If just a kitchen... so she quietly loved to that door to see what prize she'd win.

OOC: Added seven gnome lineage journals and a book on the history of Ersetu to Aisha's inventory.
Wherever the side door once led, Aisha finds that it matters no longer. The opening of the door triggers the completion of a cave-in seemingly held up by the stone structure. The chamber beyond is covered entirely by rubble and stone that pours out of the door and onto Aisha, dealing 5 bludgeoning damage. The rubble, rocks and debris suddenly cover the tabaxi, though she is able to pull herself free without too much trouble.
While Aisha provides healing for Harmony, she fires an arrow into the mummy again while Garu tears her sword across its flesh twice more. Still intent on T'savi, the creature flails but misses, groaning incoherently.

Aisha ... once free, will heal herself one more time as her wounds reopen, if only to make sure she doesn't fall to the next thing.
With that, though it only left one path remaining... and she took it. Stealthily as she could (phone) and pushed in through the next door.
