The two blows clearly took the Monitor by surprise, making it squeal in pain as huge gashes gushed with blood on his back. He wobbles around in a daze, still standing, but just barely.

((Oh ****, my bad. I'm unsure if the one I was attacking is still alive. If so, that's my target, if not, I'll move to the closest one and attack that one.))
Sennet let's out a hearty yell and takes a swing at the creature again with his glaive. (Or for the first time if it's a new target.)

Attack: 22 Damage: 13
Another solid attack sending the last kuo-toa to the ground, leaving the Monitor standing, just barely, still stark raving mad and trying to babble out something as it looks around in a desperate fashion...

Kel grips their war hammer and shakes their head at the Monitor. "You should have got out of our way," they tell it almost gently. "We don't have time." Then, they swing their war hammer at the creature again.
And with that mighty swing, the Monitor goes down in a puddle of blood, finally going limp as its life wanes at last!!! (combat over)
Taking some time to check everyone over, Shuushan finally speaks back out to the group: "The patrols are usually not too far from the city. I'd say we are about an hour's walk, unless you all need to rest some first. But I would make haste, our captors cannot be far behind us still, and another encounter with a patrol may not go so well."
((Do you press on to Slupludoop or take a short/long rest now?))

Kel shakes their hammer off with a grimace and then turns to Finn. "I can help," they offer before setting a hand on his shoulder and casting Cure Wounds. They channel the magic with the same ease they wielded their hammer, seeming quite pleased that it works.
"Do any of you have a spyglass and a bracer?" Crowfell suddenly wonders out of the blue. There's this mad gleam in his eye. "Can any of you make a spyglass?"
"Thanks Kel, I feel 100% now!" Finn says and turns to Crowfell. "Sorry mate, but I don't have either. We could try to see what these kuo-toa carry with them if we have the time. That one seemed like the leader. My money would be on him."
The search of the bodies is fruitless, finding only the weapons and armor they had on them, a couple of mostly eaten rations, and a couple of pieces of junk like broken shells.
(Moving on. If Kel wants to respond about the spyglass we'll work that in somewhere!)
It is not too far of a trip from the meeting with the patrol to Slupludoop, but just a short ways outside the city your party encounters another patrol, this one with six kuo-toa, two kuo-toa monitors, and a kuo-toa archpriest. Upon spying your large group they fan out and the priest speaks in Undercommon:
“I am Ploopploopeen, archpriest of the Sea Mother Blibdoolvpoolp. She answers my prayers by delivering you. Help us, and you will be rewarded for your service.”
Crowfell goes at the head of the group. He, himself, speaking in Undercommon. "Good archpriest of the Sea Mother. We will be more than happy to help you in your time of need." He glances behind a shoulder. "however. There are some drow behind at our backs. In league with the Deep Father. Slowing them down after we have helped you could be the one of the greater rewards."
((Apologies! Kel had nothing for a spyglass, so wouldn't have responded to the request.))
Kel eyes the patrol, mindful of their dwindling magical reserves. They hope that Crowfell can handle the conversation without getting them into another fight, as Kel does not understand the strange words of Undercommon. They keep quiet next to Finn, trying to simply keep an eye on things.
Ploop began to pace around the group, slowly, while the others encircle the group but in a not-too-threatening way. "You should not worry, they rarely step foot in our city, and if you help us I am certain we can provide some assistance in that matter as well." After that the he gestured toward the city, a dimly lit mesh of debris that somehow held itself together. The other kuo-toa and monitors began prodding members of your group to head towards the city.
Sennet, not too thrilled about being poked would push the weapons away and just overall, dip and duck to avoid the pokes, all while heading in the direction they are leading.

"I know that time is against us, but I could use a little rest," Finn says, winded. "Or at least some healing."

Shuushan and the others with your group half shrug and say none of them are capable right now.

Crowfell is already on it by the time Finn speaks. Such disrespect.
