Kel snarls in frustration when the creatures attack and one manages to bite them. Baring their teeth, they move so that their allies are not within range as they unleash their Thunderwave on the fish folk.
Damage, if fail CON save (DC 12): 6
Half, if success, and they are not pushed back the 10 feet.
(Thunderwave has an area of 15 feet, which means you aren't going to be able to hit all of the enemy. You can hit 3 of the normal ones and the monitor if you wish, or 4 of the normal ones. For visualization, I'm keeping the PCs closer together and the rest of the party together.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the creature (#1) lunges at Sennet, he's able to quickly bring his Glaive up horizontally, sticking the handle into its mouth to block it. He shoves him back (Not actually shoving, just getting him out of my face) and swings at the creature.
With a blast of thunder and air, a wave erupts from Kel around them, knocking 2 of the kuo-toa back 10 feet and making them clutch themselves from the blow. (The ones attacking Kel and Ulbeth). The one attacking Sennet and the Monitor shrug off the blast and stay up close to their targets.

Held Attack: 21 Damage: 11
The kuo-toa screams as a large gash splits across its body, spilling fishy blood all over. It's definitely in pretty bad shape!
Frustrated at the lack of action on your group's part so far, the monitor gives the signal to attack and launches into the fray himself. As they begin to attack though, they seem to be aiming for disabling, not killing outright...
The monitor strikes first at Finn: Attack: 13 Damage: 3 for a bite attack, Attack: 9 Damage: 7 and Attack: 11 Damage: 6for two unarmed strikes.
The other kuo-toa attack people in singular fashion...
#1 to Sennet: Attack: 7 Damage: 2 to try and bite
#2 to Kel: Attack: 22 Damage: 3 to try and bite
#3 to Ulbeth: Attack: 15 Damage: 5 to try and bite
#4 to Buppido: Attack: 22 Damage: 5 to try and bite
#5 to Eldeth: Attack: 12 Damage: 3 to try and bite
#6 to Prince: Attack: 15 Damage: 4 to try and bite
#7 to Jimjar: Attack: 20 Damage: 4 to try and bite
#8 to Twins: Attack: 7 Damage: 4 to try and bite
Finn manages to lift his shield in time to block the attacks and swings his battleaxe at the monitor(21 to hit) (not sure which dice to use, 1d10 or 1d8. If 1d8 its a 10, if 1d10 it's an 8)
(Edit: PHB says battleaxe is 1d8 for one handed attack and 1d10 for twohanded attack, so Finn's damage is 10. Just trying to do it right! ;))
Frustrated with being unable to sense the emotion here- beyond hostility- Crowfell says, "Alright. I tried being friendly. Now you all go to feeding the worms." Purple crackling energy starts to gather in his hands. It travels up his weapon... then he changes his mind as he's bitten. "gah. Nasty creatures." Staggering back. Muttering underneath his breath, the creature is the only one that can hear this musical whisper.
The enemy who attacked him has to make a wisdom saving throw.
Perhaps because of the environment or any number of factors, the kuo-toa attacking Ulbeth only seems to tilt it's head at the whisper, then shaking it off as it doesn't seem to do as much damage as one might have hoped. (Roll damage)
The rest of your group engages the enemy now...
Buppido takes a swipe with a makeshift shank, just managing to nick one of the kuo-toa.
Prince rushes at the heavily wounded enemy and with a mighty swipe sends it to the floor with a loud squish.
Eldeth runs after one of the kuo-toa but the darkness and other activity makes it hard for her to connect to her target.
Jimjar pulls out his own short swords and takes two swipes at the nearest enemy, cutting two solid streaks on its shoulders. (It's definitely hurt pretty good)
Sarith slips on some of the spilt blood, causing him to lose his footing momentarily, enough for his attack to go wide of its mark.
Shuushar stands there with Stool, clearly not interested in fighting or defending anyone currently.
Twins bounce around with their dancing swords but the kuo-toa deftly avoid their deadly strikes.
Finn swings at the monitor again with his battleaxe (13 to hit, 13 damage)
The battleaxe just hits! Slamming into the side of the Monitor making a sizeable gash! The Monitor burbles something incoherent and touches the fresh wound. The damage on him is starting to stick!

So I don't get to roll like a perception check or anything for studying them?
A solid hit by Finn makes the monitor growl but it is still standing strong and gathering strength for another attack.
(Yes! Sorry I think it got lost in the new page. Perception check for sure. Were you going to attack too or just watch?)
(It depends on the result of the check)
Perception check: 3

(A strong attack with his glaive send another Kuo-Toa to the ground in a bloody heap! The rest are looking a little confused but angry.)
