"I don't know about food, but," Kel gently waggles their clawed fingers. "I can create water, so long as there is a drop left." They had never been a particularly good hunter, but it was some relief to know they could contribute with water, if need be.
Though the air is filled with the same mysterious and creepy noises as always, this time the night passes without issue. After another solid rest the goblins wake you all back up and begin once more along the labyrinthine webs the sprawl across the immense chasm...
Sennet awakens from his sleep with the same uneasy feeling. The sooner I can get out of here, the better. He thinks to himself before collecting his things and getting ready for the trek ahead. "I suggest the second we get out of here, we try and find something we can use for food."
"I can create traps and snares to help us catch something, but in here, we'd probably only catch small things." Fin says, gummy. "Snack sized, if I'm being honest."
Another long trek across the seemingly endless expanse of web and dark begins and ends without issue, much to everyone's relief surely. The goblin guides find a hollow of another large pillar to stop and rest in for a while. "Almost there," they mention. "More help we can give though if you want it maybe."
Sennet get's close to the Goblins, towering over them. He grips his Glaive tightly. "How about you help us anyways and I won't throw you off this thing."
"Now, now. Let's not throw around threats. It's been a... not very pleasant journey thus far. I'm sure that they were already offering their help without prompt." Crowfell offers, getting between the goblins and Sennet. His hands held up, like 'woah, wait a minute.' "They already know how much gold is on the line. And if it's not enough, fine. Name your price. More gold? Land? Whatever. Just help us out here and the Duchess will reward you well." There's a beat. And then. "You still haven't told us where we can find you after. You know. In case we needed guidance again."
The goblins get up to go again and shrug. "We lives down here. Many ways up top though, but not here we don't think. No not here. Other places perhaps. You go to duergar? We take you there. Long way still, let's go."
And with that the goblins take off once more into the ever expanding darkness. A few hours into that day's travel you all begin to hear a voice in your head though even with darkvision you can't see where the voice might be coming from yet: "Beware...demons....they are rising in the dark!" This goes on from time to time but the voice slowly shifts: "Demons...who are you? What are you? I see you...demons?" The voice begins to get more insane sounding little by little as it assaults your mind with it's constant questioning: "Demons! Foul creatures! You are with them! With them! You won't take me!" Horrid screeching and insane babbling rings through your head as you alight upon a large platform covered in glowing fungi. There, rising out of the depths, aSpectatorappears! "DEATH TO ALL DEMONS!!!!"
As the voice grows louder and more constant, Finn drops his hand to his battle axe and grips his shield tighter. When the Spectator appears, he loudly says "Do we LOOK like demons to you? We're just trying to get to the other side. Now go get your eyes checked and let us pass!"
(Finn is about done with this place. Webs, spiders, crazy goblins, and now this? He just wants out of here and on to the duergar city)
Sennet, seeing the Spectator appear and start accusing them of being demons, will shout back. "Shut up! We are not demons!" and he'll take out his Longbow, aim it at the Spectator and release two quick shots towards it.

"When we get to a city, I'm going to get us all the finest food and bed in the city."
Kel looks over at the goblins curiously. "What sort of help do you mean?"

Perhaps because of the darkness, perhaps because the aberration was just that ugly, but the bolts go just wide of their mark...
