Name: Robin Holdcrest Race: Custom Lineage if available otherwise Variant human Alignment: LN Class (and Subclass you would most likely pursue): Artificer 1 / Wizard (Chronomancer) x Background: Sage Backstory: What kind of life have you lived? A studeious one, learning and seeking after knowledge for knowledge's sake. What kind of person are you? A good person I guess... Robin would be caring, likely not very personable, but working for the greater good. What are your aspirations, motivations, dreams? Robin is seeking to increase her magical aptitude in a world that has little in the way of people such as herself. She would likely be focused on that to the exclusion of most other things. One specific item I will want to know: Will your character be a citizen of the Empire? Or are they a foreigner taking advantage of the newly opened borders to visit/explore? I'd say she is taking advantage of the open borders, but am good either way.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
The Breach sounds like something that would have left its mark in the area it affected. That made me think druids would want to fix such a 'scar in the world', leading to this character idea. Assuming I'm right, this would be my character:
Stats: 101711121213 Name: Eskil Shoreside Race: Stout Halfling Alignment: NG Class (and Subclass you would most likely pursue): Druid, most likely Circle of the Moon Background: Cloistered Scholar (Alchemist's Supplies instead of one of the languages)
Backstory: Eskil's parents were Druids, working around the area the Breach hit. When Eskil was born, he was sent to a distant relative, away from the dangers his parents faced. They kept in contact with animal messengers, leading to Eskil becoming very studious in hopes of learning enough to go and help his parents. But soon after growing into an adult, the messengers stopped coming. Eskil went in search of a local druid his parents had mentioned in one of the messages, and found out they hadn't heard anything from them in a while either. They warned him not to go looking for them, as the area was still very much dangerous, so Eskil asked for training in the ways his parents had followed. After promising not to go alone, or just leading himself and some others to their doom, he got the training he wanted. Now, Eskil is heading to Bardtown as it seems to be the place to be as of late. It should be easy to find a band of adventurers to join there, to grow his strength and knowledge with, and to have trusty allies when the need for them comes.
Raldaen moved to the coast as a young boy and became enamoured by the sea. He soon left his family to voyage on the waves, but events led him onto a pirate crew. The last vessel they plundered had a creepy woman, who cursed the crew for their evils before she died. They are now seeing shadows, and many have died of bizarre incidents. Raldaen stole away, seeking to distance himself from the cursed ship or crew. He finds his way to Bardstown, looking to start anew before returning to his love and seeking out new waters to sail upon.
[I can also do content sharing for a good chuck of material]
OK. I am going into the submarine now to make final selections.
Thanks to everyone for the applications. I could probably run 3 games with all of the great concepts provided. Unfortunately I don't have the personal time to take on more than one new game right now. To those who don't receive an invitation, I wish you sincerest luck in all your other games.
