"Oh, nothing of interest, just some old ornaments of sorts I guess. It seems really hard to get some information in this place." She says to Rahkincu with another sigh. "I´m not sure about shaking him but since I just drenched the man I think we are already way passed what would be considered impolite." She says to the half-orc with a smirk.
Before entering the Deputy's Office he told Winke to stay outside and stand watch like before at the tavern. Then upon seeing that the Deputy is ... fast asleep, this agitates him a little to see someone asleep on the job.
So he flips his visor down and uses his Helm of Telepathy to telepathically shout in the deputy's mind to "WAKE UP"
He really wants to look at these files but believes it wouldn't be proper procedures to look at someone else's files without permission, especially someone that is meant to uphold the law...
Having now luck in the kitchen, Beatrix travels back to the dining room. Twirling a short piece of copper wire, she whispers “Everything seems suspicious, the rich folk want rid of local settlements, which are being raided by a flying vessel, an expensive endeavour, seems awfully convenient”, she sends this as a Message to Aeneas and then to Bryant.

The deputy sits bolt upright after getting splashed with water. Drenched and soaked, he holds his hands away from his body and takes deep breaths. He mutters a little bit that you can't hear before he looks at you and asks;
Valeria first looks to the others, but then decides she could try out talking to the man. "We are agents of M.E.T.A.L sent here to protect Drakeriver and to investigate rumors of a flying ship. We would need access to any information you have regarding any recent raids or spottings of flying ships." She says plainly, not being overly courteous.
Aeneas is a bit startled to hear Beatrix' voice in his ear, but he responds "Acknowledged. I think perhaps we have learned all we can this evening from these 'fine' folks. Should we search out the rest of our party and let them know we have secured lodging for the night?"
The deputy, shaking his hands a bit, in an incredulous voice, while wiping his dark brown hair away from his emerald eyes, asks;
"And this was the best way to do so? Yes, brilliant idea. Great job really. Wait.. did you say you were from M.E.T.A.L. ? OH HO NO! NO! I already told you the drake doesn't pose any threat to Drakeriver or surrounding areas. Were they once Giant's pets? Yes. Did they once wreak havoc and fear in the name of the Giants? Possibly. Will this one revert to it's ancestral tendencies? ABSOLUTELY NOT! AND ANOTHER THING!
...
You asked about the raids didn't you? So you won't be concerned with the Drake. You'll want... AH! This one!" He says, raking through his files as he talks, before realizing your actual goal. He holds up a file towards you, now a bit smeared with wet fingerprints.
Bryant smiles as he hears the voice in his mind, "Clever little one. I agree this town has a secret. Let us find the others, hopefully they had better luck than us."
With that he will get up settle any debt that is owed and suggest the three of them make their way to the deputy. As they walk over he says, "When the sunrises perhaps we should explore this Neadle's Peak seems to be the only lead we have found. For a town that called for our help they seem to be surprisingly content..."

"I'd love to meet your drake. But that is just personal interest. We are here about the airship raids," Rahkinchu says as she takes the file. She seems unconcerned about the wet smudges as she tries to look at it.
"I take it you haven't had any trouble here? The Mayor seemed very unconcerned."
“The mayor huh? That old drunk never did anything good for this town. Neither he nor the sheriff ever actually do anything other than drink, sleep, and eat. I do all of the work for both of them and me and still have the time to sleep,”
Aeneas finishes his drink, stands, and proclaims, "Citizens of Drakeriver, have no fear. We are here to protect your village from raiders and other threats. Remember, if you have any information, your assistance is appreciated."
He makes his way to the elven receptionist, gives her a winning smile, and inquires if she was able to speak to the staff. Giving a farewell wave to the patrons of the Dine Inn, he marches out the door in the company of Bryant and Beatrix.
Rahkinchu laughs at the Deputy's comments. "Well, you would have managed to sleep if not for us! But is there anything you can help us with on the airship? I'm sure the files have all the info, but it's good to get an expert's thoughts on it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beatrix follows Aeneas and Bryant out of the Dine Inn, "I suppose we had best locate the Deputy then, as this would appear to be the avenue of investigation our comrades were following, the path of huge metallic simian should not be hard to follow I hope"

"Sleeping on your post huh. Let´s see if this helps." Val takes her waterskin and pours some water over the man.
Rahkinchu shakes her head. "So what were you looking at over there Valeria? Not sure why the old guy showed us in if this guy is so passed out!"
She gives the man another glance. "Is it considered impolite to just shake him a bit? Or leave him to sleep and come back in the morning?"
Rahkinchu looks like she's seriously considering just trying to shake him awake if the water doesn't work.

Farewell.

"Thank you for your cooperation." Val says in a neutral tone, trying to ignore the weird outburst, immediately starting to go through the file.
(Or looks over Rahkinchus shoulder I guess :-)
Rahkinchu is more than happy to pass the papers to Valeria once she sees her trying to look at them.
