"I agree with Aurelius in that we're a danger to all we meet. Further more not knowing who is lloyal and who isn't may require more time to ferret out than we have time for. Might be best to avoid all contact if possible.'
Yoë nods, "Oh, well, yea, I suppose it's better to not get others involved when we don't have to." She looks disappointed but seems to understand. She blushes slightly at Aurelius' compliments but moves along without responding.
You continue through the forest for most of the day. Neither Elyria nor Aelric notice anything out of the ordinary. You are following a more permanent path now. "Should be at the edges of town in another hour or so. Do we want to just stay in town somewhere tonight? Or stop outside of town?" Yoë asks.
"I would suggest outside. However, if Yoë has family here it may be okay for her to go and at least warn them of our suspicions. They might have information as well." suggests Flynt.
Elyria nods at Flynt's suggestion. "Yes, let's rest outside of town. And be careful if you venture in there Yoë." She says, looking for a good spot for them all to rest. Survival: 8 if needed.
"D’accord," replies Aurelius."Yoë, you might begin by telling your family of some odd behavior of Leilatha lately, and see how they respond. If they do not reject you, you could share our suspicions of her true identity as a 'rumor' and see if it will spread through the village. I don't think you should mention us, however, if possible."
"Oh yes, of course, I wouldn't mention you guys." Yoë says. "I'll just drop in and see a few of my cousins, ask a few questions, see if there are any rumors." She stops, a huge grin coming to her face. "Oh! This is going to be so much fun! Like I'm totally a spy or something!" She's almost jumping in place, ready to set off. "I'll be back in time to get some sleep for sure, don't you worry!"
Before she left, she had pointed out to Elyria that while the spot she had found might be nice, it was a pretty heavily traveled area. She helps you find a spot a bit further off that she thinks should be quiet. The rest of you set up the camp and get ready to rest.
(Plans for keeping watch, etc. during the 'night'?)
"Good luck Yöe, and take care." Elyria says, waving the satyr off.
With Yoë's directions, Elyria finds a better spot to set up camp. She sends out Aelric to scout the perimeter while settling in next to a tree, her thoughts drifting off to Rahkeshi again. New survival to find good camping spot: 17 Aelric perception: 18
Yoë waves as she skips off, looking very cheery at the prospect of a couple of visits with her cousins. The rest of you settle in, get some food, and relax for a bit. As Elyria heads to meditate and Flynt to sleep, Aurelius takes up his watch. There is no sign of Yoë yet, but it hasn't been that long yet. As usual, the dim twilight remains unchanged.
(I would say Elyria does not know. I'm ok with saying as 'general druid' ability - plus the flavor of some of your spells, especially cantrips kind of suggest some limited ability to communicate with spirits so to speak. You don't seem to see and talk to them like Rahkeshi, but you could try reaching out to them.)
Paladin Perception powers... well... Aurelius is quite able to see the pair of elk walking into the clearing where they had set up the camp. You even notice another probably just behind those two still back in the trees. They seem calm and are just meandering through. However, when the first one gets within 30 feet of Elyria it suddenly snorts and stomps its feet. Then it lowers its head and charges at her.
Elyria is instantly alert as is Flynt. Aurelius also is certain they are under attack.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Flynt is startled awake as Betsy's warning alarm goes off inside his head. Instantly he rises into a crouch the sentient weapon ready to fire at the newest threat.
Elyria uses her winged boots to fly up into the tree she is resting by. "Wait, don't harm it unless it attacks you too, I think this may have to do with the amulet." She says, hanging the amulet on a branch and then using the rest of her movement to fly away from the amulet, still staying out of reach from the angry elk, looking to see if the elk is interested in her or the amulet. "What do you want elk?" She asks calmly.
Aurelius will clutch his holy symbol, an amulet with engraved stag horns, wreathed with rowan branches, and recite the incantation speak with animals. If successful, he will attempt to calm the elk and inquire after their objective. "Friends, we mean no harm. What has you so agitated?"

Aurelius volunteers for first watch, still not entirely certain what Flynt's enchanted crossbow can and cannot do in terms of surveillance.
Flynt says he'll take last and settles in.
