Stormraider Keep (A M.E.T.A.L. Campaign)

(To clarify, Flynt lands in the garden atop the cliff, not back at the bottom?)

Rahkeshi looks at Aurelius, considering him and his question.  "I could, but then I would be unable to climb up."

(OOC- This is because it is a concentration spell. Climbing would be an Athletics check, DC 12. If someone drops a rope you have advantage. You move at half your walking speed if no climbing speed. For 30 ft walking it would take 7 checks.)

(Yes Flynt has landed at the top of the cliff. Here is a stealth roll in case you want one.) 16 

Aurelius considers the cliff.  "Well, as you all know I am quite strong, so it would hardly be a challenge for me.... still, perhaps I should seek another entrance and cause a distraction, to divert attention from the rest of you?  I hate to split up and deprive you of my renowned battle skills but..." he hesitates, looking upwards again, "...Perhaps I should save my energy for fighting."

Flynt comes back near the edge of the cliff and lands on the ground. As he is transforming back to his normal form, he is alerted to danger nearby. He is able to find cover but still is unable to actually see where the danger might be coming from. 

Elyria likewise receives the warning of danger (I'm assuming she's within 30 ft. of Flynt.)  She and Aelric both are unable to spot any sign of where the danger is coming from. 

Back at the base of the cliff, Rahkeshi looks at Aurelius. "Of course, you with your heavy metal costume would be the one to not have a way up the cliff. I thought we had this figured out!"  She thinks a moment, "Hmm, I think I can work around this though."  Stepping from the vertical face of the cliff back onto level ground, Rahkeshi says, "I'll go ahead and cast the spell on you." She drops the spell on herself and again casts Spider Climb, touching Aurelius at the end.  

"Up we go!" She then transforms into a Mountain Goat and starts to bound up along the cliff, seemingly finding perches in spots that seem impossible. 

Sensing the danger, Elyria turns and signals down to The climbing Aurelius and the mountain goat that effortlessly ascends the cliff by his side. As soon as they get within 30 feet they, Flynt and Elyria herself are engulfed by a veil of shadows and silence. (Pass without trace +10 to stealth)

(Note for Elyria - casting requires a verbal component, which would make your location obvious for a moment until you re-hid after casting.) 

(Oh, okay, she just stays quiet waiting for Aurelius and Rahkeshi to get up then :-)

Visibly more relaxed, Aurelius bounds up the cliff face after nanny-goat Rahkeshi, but will slow down if anyone alerts him to nearby danger.

Aurelius and the Mountain Goat are able to scale up the cliff, and are nearing the top. (Will make it to the top next round.)

Elyria and Flynt remain in place, the 'danger' neither apparent nor going away.  (You have time to take an action if you wish or wait and see.)

Elyria is still staying down hidden but trying to listen for sounds of invisible pixies flying closer, hoping Rahkeshi will be able to spot them as she gets into the garden.
Perception: 11

Elyria is unable to pick up any indication of the pixies' location. 

Flynt just waits patiently.

As no one has advised him to exercise undue stealth, Aurelius will reach the top of the cliff and look around for his friends.

(OCC: Aurelious would have been alerted to danger once he was within 30 feet of Flynt.)

(Is Flynt right at the edge of the cliff, or "inland" a bit?  If Aurelius is alerted to danger, he will slow down, and peek over the edge before charging in.)

(I would say Flynt is very close to the edge of the cliff, though not so much to be in danger of falling.  So Aurelius and Rahkeshi would get the warning of danger just as they reached the top, before they come over.) 

Thus far you don't see any signs of the danger, just the magical warning from Flynt's crossbow and Rahkeshi's earlier words to those who heard them.  The mountain goat that is Rahkeshi comes up to the top of the cliff and pauses a moment.  The goat then charges at a point about 30 ft. away.

The mountain goat seems to hit something as it lowers its head. As it hits, you see a sprite suddenly appear and fall prone onto the ground.
