Stormraider Keep (A M.E.T.A.L. Campaign)

Flynt takes note of Aelric attempts to get his attention and moves from his cover to Elyria. 

"Well? I assume it went well." inquires Flynt. He looks about for the rest.

(I guess for Sozi, or both blink dogs really, you probably have some way to audibly summon her.)  

"Hmm. I suppose I understand," Sabynn says. "Though I'd suspected you would be working with your group. Much as you suspected I might not have wished to let my companions know." She turns to Flynt as he approaches. "Good to see you once again."

Elyria nods and smiles to Sabynn, then giving a whistle, calling Acorn and Sozi to her side, asking them in Sylvan to go and get Rahkeshi, Yoë and Presxina from beyond the waterfall.

Aurelius will step into view.  "Greetings once again," he says in Elvish. "You are sure you were not followed?  Your companions will not notice your absence?"

"I am sure as one can be that I was not followed. Though I cannot linger here too long." Sabynn replies, also in Elvish.  "So, you are all hoping I can get you close to Lady Sylmare? I will do my best, but I'm not sure how to reach you later."

It takes a few minutes, but soon Acorn and Sozi come running into the clearing.  Sabynn is a little startled at first, but quickly realizes they must be friends of Elyria.  The Eladrin watches the interaction.  As soon as she has explained her mission, Sozi charges off with Acorn right behind, heading for the waterfall.  

Seeing Sozi and Acorn hurry off towards the waterfall, Elyria smiles and turns to Sabynn again. "Perhaps I can let Aelric, my owl, come with you Sabyyn, and he can carry a written message back to us when you have some information on where and when we can find Lady Sylmare?" The blonde elf suggests, still pondering better options, looking at Flynt and Aurelius for more ideas.

"Oh," Sabynn replies, glancing at the owl. "It... can hide or something? I mean, it doesn't have to ride on my shoulder or anything does it?  I think that might invite a few questions from the others," she says with a laugh. 

"Well, I can ask him to stay hidden but around to spot you if you go and meet him in the woods, and he can carry a written message to us." Elyria continues not sure if this could work with where Sabynn is going.

"Alright. I imagine I can make that work," Sabynn replies. "So, just look for an opportunity to get you close?"

"I think so." Elyria answers, looking to Aurelius and Flynt for more ideas.

"Well, ideally a place that she is exposed, fewer guards, no fortifications to retreat to.  Somewhere we could box her in with no chance of escape."

Sabynn nods to Aurelius. "Ok, that might be when she's back in Alvahollow.  There might be a chance while she travels though. I'll see what I can find out."  She glances around, "I should probably not be away too much longer or Olcelle and Fylanis might get suspicious." 

"I think it would be preferrable to catch Lady Sylmare as she travels." Elyria says and nods to Sabynn. She then instructs Aelric to follow Sabynn, trying to stay hidden, or at least inconspicuous, then returning to Yoë's hideout when Sabynn has a message for them. "Thanks, and good luck now Sabynn, I know you're taking a risk for us but we will be there to unveil Lady Sylmare for you." 

"Of course, Elyria. Best of luck to you all." Sabynn says as she sets off on her own out of the waterfall area. 

Soon you see Acorn returning with Yoë and Presxin followed by Rahkeshi and Sozi behind.  You notice that Rahkeshi's garments look extremely soaked through. 

Elyria gives Sabynn a smile and a wave as the eladrin leaves, then moving to meet Rahkeshi, smiling warmly. "Poor you, what happened, did the waterfall get you, or did you decide to take a bath? Let's get you back so you can dry up a bit." She says, tilting her head and giving the half-orc a wink.

Elyria is then ready to head back to Yoë's hideout to finally rest for the night.

Stealth: 15 Perception: 12

Aurelius stage-whispers, "Well someone certainly needed a bath, so win-win."

"You mean someone needs a bath." Elyria turns quickly and says with a wry smile to the half-man. "I'm sure you can catch up Aurelius." She adds with a soft laugh, turning to head back again.

Rahkeshi shakes her head. "Nobody ever needs a bath. But there's no harm in getting wet!" she says with a laugh. 

Yoë suddenly jumps in.  "Keshi just walked right into the waterfall and up the side of the rocks!  It was amazing!" 

Rahkeshi glances at the satyr with a smile. "Just a druid spell. Turned out there was a cave behind the waterfall. Quite a ways up though. Didn't see much up there though." 

"So, Keshi did all that huh?" Elyria says with soft laugh. "Better get Keshi home and out of those wet clothes now." She adds with a smile and a wink at the half-orc, ready to head back to Yoë's hideout.

(OCC: so sorry about the perceived inactivity. I thought I posted yesterday but apparently I typed it but didn't send.)

As the group heads back to Zoës tree house hideout Flynt puzzles over how to get close to Sylmare. Suddenly an idea strikes him. "We could try the false prisoner ruse. If Olcelle is with us it would be better but if not it's okay. As long as Sylmare is away then we can use Sabyn to lead Aurelius and myself into the keep as captives. Since he and I have been banished for our disrespect it shouldn't be hard to sell the story that we were caught and instead of killed on site the pleasure was reserved for Sylmare herself. Since Elyria has been seen in service to the lady her walking free should not be suspect. Once inside we hide and wait for our shot."
