Rahkeshi seems to have missed any innuendo. She steps forward to the candle holder and grabs what looks to be a decorative knob at the bottom.  As she does so, the panel slides back into a recess, revealing a stair leading down into a dark tunnel right beneath the throne.  The passage is narrow, allowing only single file passage.  

"Hey, you did it Rahkeshi." Elyria says smiling widely at the half-orc. "Let's see if we can't find Lady Sylmare down there somewhere." She adds in a serious tone, motioning for Aurelius to take point down the dark tunnel.

The paladin will lead the way down the stairs, striving to move silently, but with his flaming sword providing a light source.

Stealth: 22

You move quietly along the narrow passageway. Steps lead down beneath the throne, leveling off once you are probably 20 ft. below the surface.  It soon turns to right, gradually turning to a north-western direction.  You follow this for no more than 100 ft. before you reach the base of a spiral staircase heading up. It remains every bit as narrow, the stair tightly curving around in a circle. 

Thus far you do not see nor hear anything.

Elyria follows along, the team still covered in a veil of shadows and silence.

(Aelric is outside, hopefully reporting on movement to and fro the fortress, particularly if he spots Lady Sylmare :-)

Aurelius will lead the way upward, cautiously.

The group continues up until finally coming out into a very sparsely decorated bedroom. Rich curtains adorn the walls and there is still a large bed in the corner (to the northwest).  The place otherwise seems like everything has been removed.
