Aurelius briefly dismounts and checks Lady for any wounds. Satisfied that she is unharmed, he wonders if the owl and bear that were "swallowed whole" are still alive in there somewhere, so he opens the beast's belly, to release anything that might have survived. He then remounts, and follows Elyria northward.

Rahkeshi nods at Elyria's comment, "Such creatures are usually in the Feywild? Perhaps this forest has more connections than just the one we ran into." She shrugs, watching Aurelius carve up the beast a moment, before resuming their trek northward. She keeps an eye out as they go, but continues to remain mostly quiet. (Perception: 17)

"These woods are full of surprises perhaps the veil between worlds is thin it would explain the odd happennings and would certainly attract all manner of creatures. Regardless, I am happy to be in the company of such accomplished agents. It seems METAL knows how to construct a team." Bryant says this rather matter of factly and without a smile. He then will pull his hood over his head and allows the sword blade to turn to dust before holstering it and turning to the north with the others. Given their last few encounters he moves as quietly as possible and stays alert for whatever danger is sure to come next.

After walking in silence a bit, Rahkeshi comes alongside Ellyria. "I was curious, do you speak Orc?" She seems unusually nervous in her question. "Or do you suppose any of the others do?"
She silently awaits an answer, her fingers playing over the thorns of the bracelet around her wrist.
Hearing someone coming up behind her, Elyria at first fears she missed a danger to her team, but when she sees it is Rahkeshi she smiles warmly and waits until she catches up. "I don't, they don't teach your language back home I´m afraid. They should, perhaps we would stop being enemies one day if we understood each other better." She says, looking a bit said now. "I don´t know about the others Rahkeshi. Why do you ask?" She says looking curiously at the half-orc as they continue north.
"Good," Rahkeshi replies at first when Elyria says she doesn't know the language. She then quickly adds as an afterthought, "I mean, umm, that's what I figured. But, no reason - just curious."
There's a long silence before she continues. "Actually... I was curious if you got what I said when I lit the pyre. I was... well... The prayer I said was to Luthic - kind of the mother goddess to orcs. An evil orc goddess."
She takes a deep breath. "I do not really follow her any longer. But it was the way of my tribe..." She then adds very softly. "I was SO angry. Well, still am."
Bryant has kept to himself most of this journey prefer to stay in the shadows, stay sharp for battle. It's always been duty and the mission before anything else but hearing this conversation a cord is struck within him.
"God is a lie." He interjects rather abruptly. "It matters not if it is in a God or a Code. We were taught to live our lives in service to the blade. We would 'worship' the weapon as a way to enlightenment but when it came to using our 'faith' to help other to bring that 'faith' to life and show people the glory and salvation of our 'God' we did nothing."
He lowers his hood and looks up at the sky before continuing, "I do not know what happened to you or why you left your God but moving on has given me my purpose back. It has made me stronger and now I can help those who other will not. Live by my code not some Gods be that God a piece of metal or an omnipotent force in the land."

Rahkeshi is a little surprised at the monk's sudden interjection, and perhaps a bit concerned that he perhaps heard her last comment. "Oh, well, good you have some clarity of purpose?" She continues on with a confused tone. "Not sure how you worship a piece of metal. Nor ever heard of an omnipotent god. Perhaps my Common is just poor... did you say'God is a lie?' Do you mean gods are liars, because I could agree with that. Even so-called good ones like the vile Corellon Larethian that the idiot elves revere!"
She says the last with firm conviction, none of the confusion of a moment before. But as she glances over at Elyria her face drops a bit. In a quick aside she says to her, "Sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Elves aren't idiots."
She then looks back at Bryant and continues in a more even tone. "I started to turn from Luthic as I studied as a druid. Seeing the primal forces of nature made her evil seem..." She pauses a moment as though searching for the words. "Well, wrong. It went against the balance of things. I came to truly see the Old Faith while my sisters just tended to see the power they gained."
She gives Bryant, and Elyria, a small smile. "I don't think I've ever explained that to anyone, why I had to turn away from Luthic. It's hard to still not see her as mother goddess, but her wrath and destruction is just not healthy for the world."
