Mr. Faerondaerl, kneeling near the gang plank, looks around when the mysterious voice booms out from the deck of the ship. And then he grunts and is tumbling forward over the side to land in the water with a great splash. Behind him, a leather boot materializes, then a leg, then an entire man. He is decked out in leather armor and wielding a shortsword and a dagger in his offhand. A large burn-scar in the shape of a clawed hand is displayed on his left shoulder. After kicking Mr. Faerondaerl into the river, the brigand advances toward Leelan. “I’ll be needing you to vacate my ship now, wee man,” he says with an impish grin.
The kobold in the woman’s arms coils like a snake and leaps for Rohuzar, its intent apparenty to land on face or shoulders like a monkey and stab at him. It must have misjudged the distance, as it lands short, tumbling down the bank and landing with a spash in the shallow river water. It regains its footing and dashes to scramble up the bank and around you, exposing itself to a melee AoO from Aubreyif he chooses to make one.
The woman on the rock is still screaming, but her eyes are filled with joy and excitement now. She waves an open palm at Rohuzar, and a corkscrew of eldritch fire arcs across the gap, aimed at his chest.

Aubrey can't help but smile briefly at how he was tricked by the woman and her...goblin, but then he springs into swift action, with a graceful flick of his hand using the eldritch power of his talisman to drag the woman off the rock and into the water. The woman's maniacal screams stop as she is shoved from behind by an unseen force. She staggers... but does not fall. She had just enough knee bend to keep from tumbling into the drink.
A ringing sounds across the shoreline and you hear cries of pain from behind the boulder. A large crack forms and two halves of it settle to either side. The middle sniper thug is now exposed, though his associates still have 3/4 cover.
"Kill the caster!" bellows the bandit leader, without taking his eyes off of Leelan.
In the water alongside the Golden Empress, two bandits emerge from their hiding place under the overturned boat. They both lift up heavy hooks attached to chains leading back under the water and lock them onto the rope anchor-ties on the port side of the ship. The hooks attached, the two bandits grab the railing and start climbing up toward the deck.

With the serie of events unfolding before him, Leelan barely has time to realize that a blade is pointed at him. The rest of his companions being engaged with other enemies, Leelan feels a bit cornered. But seeing their laughable initial display of fighting prowess, Leelan regains a bit of assurance.
"I see you have a very compelling and poignant argument. However, here’s my retort", he says to what he assumes is the leader.

Leelanducks away from the Bandit Leader, who just laughs and doesn't bother to take an AoO on the little gnome.
He stops laughing when Leelanplugs one of his men with a dagger in the hand, causing him to fall back into the water.

At last, one points out Aubreylying prone in the dirt. "We got 'im pinned down, Sir!" ((I know there's a chance that Aubrey could break her concentration before my turn, but I'm going to post it now since I'm heading to bed.))
Grugga looks to the ship in confusion as he hears fighting, but his attention is suddenly pulled back to the warlock like a siren song. His jaw unclenches and a small tendril of drool spills out of the corner of his mouth. "Right! The guards can help us. Just wait here!"He dashes as far as he can to the south (60 ft).
Aubrey glances back and forth in desperation. His magic seemed to have little effect on the hidden bandits, the Empress was boarded by the enemy, the witch on the rock seemed to have used some kind of suggestive magic on Grugga, and worst of all, his chef just went down defending his ship. Aubrey now seething with anger over this insolence but realizing the bandits will surely kill him quickly if he gives them a good target, quickly crawls back towards the witch and with another flick of his hand he uses the eldritch power of his talisman to drag the woman off the rock and into the water.
Move action: Crawl 3 hexes straight southwest. Bonus action: Telekinetic Shove on warlock, str save 14 or be moved 5 feet towards Aubrey, and hopefully into the Breitwasser.

With a sigh of relief, Aubrey sees the witch tumble into the Breitwasser. He quickly turns his attention to the bandit still trying to climb aboard the Golden Empress, hoping to send him into the Breitwasser as well by blasting him with a beam of golden crackling energy.
Eldritch Blast with disadvantage due to being prone: 12
Grugga is momentarily enraptured by the woman, but he snaps out of it when she tumbles into the water. Incensed at another attempt at mind-controlling magic and being tricked again by devious scoundrels, the Orc does not hesitate to attempt spearing the floundering woman with his flamberge.
Action: Attack: 23 Damage: 11
Bonus action: Grugga pulls Zip out of his pocket and says "Help Leelan" Zip flies up and hovers just out of melee range just about railing height of the boat. Zip fires a shot at the bandit closest to Leelan.
Attack: 10 Damage: 5
Grugga yells loudly, "Leelan, do you need healing? Zip can do it"
Aubrey's blast catches the last climbing Bandit in the back. He too falls back into the river.
Gruggaspears the Woman, but as he does she glares at him, hellfire licking behind her eyes. She points a finger at Gruggafrom down in the river and a thin circle of flame surrounds him. This begins to spin, faster and faster, until Gruggais enveloped by a tornado of eldritch fire. He takes 25 fire damage; DEX save DC 15 for half.
Zip fires a tiny laser at the bandit on the boat, but if fizzles out on his leather greaves. "Get your carcasses up here!" the Bandit Leader shouts down at the two Bandits who failed to climb up the side of the Golden Empress. Motivated by their commander, they hustle to comply. One of them dashes, swimming to the overturned boat, climbing up, then hopping across rocks to the shore, arriving at the end of the gangplank. The other takes a less direct route, also dashing but ending up on the rock where the Woman had previously been standing. He holds his ground for now, out of reach of Gruggaor Rohuzar, and unhooks a mace from his belt.

He holds his ground for now, out of reach of Grugga or Rohuzar, and unhooks a mace from his belt.
