"There must be a vay to disable the alarms. I have skills to protect up to two of us from the poison gas. Ve can go in to look for trigger to disarm. In case there is problem, ve must prepare to keep door from sealing. Leelan and I go in to look, yes? Raqisat out here in case door is shut anyway. He is handy for those tools." Rohuzar nods in satisfaction at his own plan.
“Jam something in the doorway. A couple of the bigger, sturdier rocks may do it? Even if not preventing the doors from shutting it may leave us a wedge to work with,” Raqisat suggests. “You have the poison covered and I’m still for tying the corpse or a live critter to a rope and chucking it in to see what happens…”
"We could send Zip in." Grugga suggests. "The magic that powers it echoes in the main capacitor at a similar rate to mortal life. It may be able to trick a magical trap into triggering, and it could potentially set off some physical traps that don't require that much force." He whistles and the tiny construct of wood, metal, and cloth lands on the palm of his outstretched hand. "I have the materials to rebuild it if it gets broken... except for the golden pearl. We need to make sure we don't lose that."
Grugga offers the use of Zip for triggering traps. ((Zip is technically a construct, which is a type of creature, not an object. So hopefully it triggers traps)).
"Let us hope the traps won't reset. Also we should expect some kind of sentinel too." Aubrey says warily, seemingly having a lot of respect for this chamber.
"I could also potentially pinpoint the location of the magic traps. However, I need to be relatively close to sense it.", he frowns. "This all seems very risky, but I’ll follow if all of you desperately wish to explore this room. I should hate for our expedition to be compromised so soon."
"Traps are still here after many, many years. It is fair to assume they vill reactivate. Save your resources for Zip. Leelan and I can do it... But hold the door just in case."
"Welp, I ain't gunna figure anythin' out standin' 'round oot here." Cosette peels herself off the wall. While she was satisfied supervising the boys labour away at the doors, she was ready to put some skin in the game. "I'm more than happy teh go dancin' with danger with yas." She shrugs. "This is what I'm here for." She understood other's cautions and thorough considerations, but she was willing to take some risks should other's have their reservations and/or require to preserve some energy. Cos has a comfortable amount of steam left in her tank.
Placing a hand on Leelan's shoulder. "Thanks teh yer range of skill, we know what teh expect. That'sa huge advantage already." Cos smiles with great respect for the rangers ability, and the collective efforts of the team thus far. "I think I ken be of help teh ya in there Leelan." With her background knowledge, in theory when she enters the space she should be able to correctly ascertain its original purpose and even determine its builders, whether those were Aubrey's ancestors, dwarves, elves, humans, yuan-ti, or some other known race. In addition, you she could at least determine the monetary value of art objects more than a century old. "An' I still got a few tricks up mah sleeve." She winks.
"We set off that alarm twice now." Cosette mostly thinks this out loud, making a motion with her hand like she's imitating walking into the space. "So anythin' sentient knows we be here." She moves her hand to pat her nose in thought. At this moment Raquisat would feel something tap him on the shoulder from behind. Should he turn to look over his shoulder, he'd come face to 'face' with a spectral hand. It waves at him.
And Raqisat falls for it again. Of course. Turning at the tap on his shoulder, Raq is greeted by the Mage Hand. It's not the first time she has pulled this though so instead of any surprise or shock all Cosette gets is a grin and a roll of the eyes.
"When she is right she is right," Raqisat agrees and nods to Cosette that he thinks she may as well. "We won't solve it sitting out here and just looking in. Time to start trying things and see what happens."
[So we have Rohuzarescorting Leelanin an attempt to locate magical traps via detect magic, with Cosettecoming along to provide insight and archaeological commentary?]
The minotaur chamber is 25x25. As soon as the three of you enter, the alarm begins to sound again. Other than the blinking of the yellow stones in the walls and the sound, there is no other local effect of the alarm.
There are stone doors on the walls on either side of the statue. They look to be sliding doors, with pockets in the wall for them to slide into. Both are closed.
[I need to know when Leelancasts detect magic. I need a Perception check from Rohuzarand an Investigation check from Cosette.
Also, if the rest of the party is taking some action to block the door from closing, please advise what it is you decide to do. Raqisat mentioned piling some rocks?]

"Uh, I wouldn't step inside just ye..." Raqisat starts to caution, whether it is useful of not. ((I actually thought Cosette was going to poke around with her mage hand, and I was still up for throwing the corpse in first before any living us... But they will do as they do.))
Raqisat hurries to brace the door as best he can. It appears the Heavy Thieve's Tools contains a set of hammers and metal wedges so his first step would be to pound a couple of wedges in to brace and hold the doors where they are. Once that is done also tries to shift a couple of the large heavy stones behind the wedges so as to reinforce and ask as a secondary barrier. "We may be screwed if we want to close the doors in a hurry but that's a problem for then..."
With his own engineering skills somewhat lacking, Aubrey would try to assist Raqisat with his plan in any way he can, ready to fall back quickly if needed.
(Hoping to provide help action to Raqisat if and when a roll is needed)
Inside the room, Cosette'snerves are too tight and she is too wrapped up watching the flashing yellow stones and where she steps to pick up on any details in the room.
Rohuzar notices right off the bat that the walls and floors here are different than the rest of the underground tunnels. There are no seams or blocks cut in the stone. It is as if the room was hollowed out of a single massive stone, or that the stone was poured somehow or magically shaped. The minotaur statue is different. Getting closer to it, it almost looks like a chimera of different statues. The arms look like those of classical feminine statue, carved in white marble. The body appears to be that of the statue of a warrior, wearing something like banded armor [its all stone, just carved to look like armor]while the head is carved to look decayed, like the rotting head of a bull was slapped on top of a miss-matched collection of body parts. It looks like something that belongs buried underground... you cannot imagine something ugly like this on display in a courtyard or museum.
Rohuzardoesn't see anything in this room that looks like a trap, and both doors leading out look clean as well.
Leelan:
From Aubrey, you see a fine golden chain, no larger than a line of thread, forged of Conjuration magic and trailing off to his floating familiar, Furvus. In Aubrey'spack, something bottle-shaped pulses with Transmutation magic.
Rohuzar'sshield shimmers with a protective shell of Abjuration magic.
Grugga'slongsword and his two mechanical constructs both glimmer with a magic all their own, more difficult to define or fit neatly into the schools of magic as you understand them. In his pack are bottles that emanate Necromancy, Transmutation, and Evocation magic.
Cosette'sgarments flicker with a weak bit of Transmutation magic.
Both you and Rohuzarare bathed in the soft light of Abjuration, protected by the spell he just cast upon you.
The moment you step past the door, you have to stifle a gasp as your senses are nearly overwhelmed.
The room is awash in Abjuration magic. Each of the yellow stones set in the wall pulses with it, sending waves across the space, echoing off the walls and returning back. As the three of you enter the room, you disturb the magic and it reverberates off of you, sending ripples. The ripples reach the stones, triggering them and causing them to pulse with even greater bursts of magic - the flashing light and the disembodied voice of warning.
The minotaur statue and the two doors to the left and right are different. They hum with Transmutation magic. It is far more subtle than the Alarm spells. This is more of a 'potential' energy... a bowstring waiting to be plucked.
Finally, there is something about the walls, floors and ceiling. It too has traces of Transmutation magic, but this is old and faded, like a wine stain on a wood floor. They have the echo of some magic having been worked on them long ago.

Grugga helps Raqisat and Aubrey pile statue pieces up by the double doors to prevent them closing. Once a significant amount are blocking the front doors, he begins rolling them into safe areas of the minotaur room, telling Leelan, Rohuzar, and Cosette that they can use them to block any further doors they open.
While he's moving pieces of the statues around, Grugga looks to see if the mis-matching minotaur statue pieces look like they might have once been part of the statues in the antechamber.
As a first reaction to stepping into the room, Leelan feels another headache coming as the chamber oozes with magic. Once he’s got used to it, he begins to point out what his senses reveal.
"The alarm spell seems to be coming from those yellow stones embedded in the walls. The magic is reverberating against the other walls back and forth to create the effect. It’s actually quite ingenious."
He then turns his head to the giant Minotaur statue. "The doors on either side of the statue. They seem enchanted. With transmutation magic. It’s look like it’s simply waiting there, for something to trigger it. My guess would be the powerful transmutation trap I sensed earlier."
"But more perturbing are the walls, ceilings and floors. They all seem to emanate some old transmutation magic. I can’t seem to pinpoint exactly it origin."
“Perhaps magic was used to carve out the room?” Raqisat suggests. He knows nothing of magic but lack of knowledge has never been an impediment to him sharing a thought.
“So safe to enter then or you all want to poke around some more?”
