"Through the scouting Furvus did I would assume it would,, but I will look again to see if there are any more hidden rooms and passages in this area." Aubrey says and sends Furvus out again. "As for the Emperor knowing, you don't think I am his only servant with the powers to enter people's minds and pluck away their secrets. I plan to return and report on this expedition and I have no intention to try to decieve him, apart from that being unthinkable to me there would simply be no point. I suppose you might be right about the Rat King though, they did not tell us everything earlier and it might have been an attempt to plunder this museum that brought them down into these tunnels in the first place. There is no point giving away what we know freely though when it can at least be used in negotioations."The young noble finishes with a polite smile.
Raqisat narrows his eyes and studies Aubrey when he casually mentions entering people's minds and plucking away their secrets. "Well I guess I shall know who to blame if my secrets are revealed then," he replies eventually and then moves on to studying more items in the room.
"I am sorry if that is how you interpret what I just said Raqisat. You asked how the Emperor would know and I explained he has other servants that can find out, through various means I might add, what happened on our expedition. I have of course no intention of trying to find out any secrets you might have and I apologize if that is what I made you think. You have proven yourself to be a valuable addition to the team and I have not forgotten how you and Ms. Cosette came to our rescue just yesterday, so I consider myself still being in your debt." Aubrey says, seeming a bit dismayed over Raqisat's comment.
"I have to vonder at the purpose of our being here. These are not glittering jewels or coin such as the Rat King possesses. But he clearly vants it. There must be something here. Something."
“The King wanted the monster dead,” Raqisat replies. “It was killing his people when it could. Plus kings always want more territory.., Here specifically? Our own curiosity about locked doors and what’s on the other said, mostly.”
Refining his search parameters, Aubreysends Furvus to patrol through the walls in the museum room, looking for any hidden passages or adjacent areas.
Almost immediately, you discover something through Furvus' eyes.
Beyond the wall in the southeast corner of the 'museum' room, there is a hidden space. You don't see any doorway. The chamber is almost a mirror image of the sarcophagus chamber that opens off of the room with the miniature city. There is a large circular sarcophagus in the middle of the room. In the corners of this room are four large, 4' high urns. On a shelf on the back wall, near the 10' ceiling, are 13 smaller urns.

"Let's hope that the Rat King didn't know about this place for now, and it's just coincidence the Death Kiss was trapped here next to this museum... shrine. I wonder if we've spend too much time here already - the Rat King might be getting suspicious - and I must say, I'm not keen on plundering these sarcophagi."
The thought of lost artifacts and history in the remaining rooms clearly draws Grugga, but the thought of disturbing the dead offsets it. He looks like he could be convinced either way.
((shall we take the discussion to discord like we mentioned a while ago?))
After the group discusses it a bit, Grugga summarizes the plan. "So, back to the Rat King for now. If he doesn't ask, we won't mention the museum. If he does ask, we mention that the Death Kiss had been breaking into it and we rescued some of the artifacts. How does that sound? We should head back soon or they'll likely start getting suspicious. They seem like a paranoid bunch." He looks to the group for agreement. "And we can worry about the emperor later."
Cosette nods in agreement. Between Grugga, Leelan and herself, they had all areas of the groups efforts in the investigation accounted for, and that was satisfying enough for her. Of course, she was more than pleased with her bonus grab. She’d admire her collected items in more detail later. For now she’d secure them and her notes amongst her person. Cos was prepared to follow the group back, and in favour of at minimum, closing the doors behind them. Locking them wouldn’t be a terrible idea, assuming they had the ‘key’ to opening it again.
"Yes, we should try to do what we can to secure this place as it was, there could be others lurking around here that would disturb the museum if they found access to it."Aubrey agrees.
Raqisat gets to work with the heavy thieves tool set, and perhaps some heavy lifting help from Rohuzar, and also tries to set and secure the doors to look as unbroken into as possible. He does his best to not do anything he doesn't think he could just as easily undo if/when they come back this way again. Once that is set he is ready to saunter back to the Rat Peeps and see how this all shakes out...
As you withdraw from the 'museum', you can close the north sliding stone door. There is no way to lock it. It seems unlikely that the arcane trap could be reactivated by closing it, as it is still defaced by Leelan'shandiwork. The alarm continues to sound in the minotaur room. At least, until everyone exits back outside the metal door.
Raqisat does his honest best, but there is a limit to what can be accomplished. To breach the room you had to cut, drill and bend sections of the door, and all three hinges are busted loose from the stone walls. In the end, Raqisat is able to get the door wedged into position and disguise the worst of the masonry damage. From a distance, the door will look marred but intact. Any closer inspection will reveal the door could be knocked down again with a hard shoulder.
[I believe Rohuzardecided NOT to go stone-by-stone destroying the yellow alarm system. If that's wrong, correct me.
I need to know what items you took from the museum room.

Grugga carefully palms the enormous blue crystal and double wraps it in the softest material he has available, and puts it in his safest pouch.

Again Aubrey explains to the others in detail what he has scouted through Furvus' senses, giving Raqisat an appreciative nod as he finishes.

Leelan nods in agreement, still not fully confident about staying in the room longer than he has to now that his magical sense is gone.
"A most sensible plan. I’m ready to head back as soon as you’re all ready."
Aubrey nods in agreement with Grugga and Leelan, ready to head back to the Rat King.
"Do we want to close and relock the doors?" Raqisat would inquire, willing to do his best to do so.
Cosette nods in agreement. Between Grugga, Leelan and herself, they had all areas of the groups efforts in the investigation accounted for, and that was satisfying enough for her. Raqisat is no thief or anitquities plunderer! He took nothing!
Rohuzar's plan was clearly a sound means of victory by attrition, but he has changed gears. No destroying all the yellow gems.
