"Hold tight Leelan!" Cos calls out with a grin to assure and inspire him to keep holding his ground as Grugga rushes back in to his and Raq's defense.

Leelan, being grappled by several weirdly-limbed abominations, realizes that he’s in quite a bad spot. Knowing his own poor physical strength, he hopes his companions will be able to free him soon.
In the meantime, he’ll use some of his magic to try to heal his wounds as more of these horrors are joining the fray.
After the attacks from Raqisat, Gruggaand Aubrey, both Chokers that had been attacking Raqisat are dead, as is one of those attacking Leelan. The remaining Chokers on the SW side, still holding the grappled and restrainedLeelan, chooses to disengage and moves west 15', dragging its prize (Leelan) along behind it with its long arms.
One of the NE Chokers, seeing the tempting morsel slipping away, moves slightly SW (not leaving Raq's reach so not triggering an AOO) and attacks, trying to grab Leelanaway from the other.
Choker 5 (Attacking Leelan)
Tentacle Attack: 19 Piercing Damage:7 If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the choker can’t use this tentacle on another target. The choker has two tentacles. If this attack is a critical hit, the target also can’t breathe or speak until the grapple ends.

The two in the middle on the NE are not impressed with this strange metal hoop that has appeared in front of them. It isn't food. The pivot around it and attach Raqisat. Still protected by Leelan'sspell [We will need two more Concentration checks, but since all these attacks are more or less simultaneous, I won't penalize you by having the first attack being on Leelannegate the protection from evil and good.] the attacks all fail.

Raqisat moves basically into the area between Leelan and the Choker north of him, doing his best to shield Leelan from as many of these creatures as he can. ((I know technically he can't actually shield him but he can at least try to offer a closer target...)) In the same vein Raqisat attacks the northern choker that is grappling Leelan with the hopes of killing it and ending the tug of war, at least...
Radiant Whip Attack: 11 to hit for 5slashing damage

(Bad rolls...)
Feeling futile, Raq uses his Action Surge to try to at least get one good hit in...
Cosette reloads another bolt. She strongly considers throwing out an ear shattering bang, but decides to focus fire the most vulnerable of the boogers clinging to Leelan.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aubrey barely retains his relative calm as the tentacled aberrations keeps swarming Leelan and Raqisat, sending two more golden beams of eldritch crackling force streaking towards the weakened enemies that has ensared the erudite gnome with their rubbery tentacles.
Seeing that the jelly-armed monsters are wont to grab at anything leaving their range, Grugga decides to step in and kill the ones closing in on him before moving to help Leelan more.
Movement: 5 ft NE.
Action: attack the white-marked monster immediately to the NE of Grugga. Attack1: 22; damage: 9 magical slashing Attack 2: 20; damage: 12 magical slashing
If the first blow kills the monster, he strides to be immediately to the south of Leelan and attacks the green-marked monster to Leelan's SE.
Bonus action: move Zap to Leelan's NW side and order it to attack. Seeing that the creatures have no interest in automata, Grugga feels safe to move Zap right under their noses. Grugga order Zap to move to Leelan's NW flank. If the red-marked creature to Leelan's west is still alive, he order Zap to attack that one. Otherwise he orders it to attack another one in range.
Attack: 15 Damage: 4 force
Grugga is prepared to use shield and Zap is prepared to use deflect attack to protect Leelan
As Raqisat moves to Leelan'said, the Chokers behind him all flail helplessly after him, their long, rubbery arms unable to catch hold of him thanks to Leelan'sprotective magic. That does little to aid Leelan, as Raqisat's and Cosette'sattacks slide harmlessly off the unnaturally tough hides of these aberrations. Grugga is able to kill the Choker to his NE, though it takes both of his strikes to do so, and Aubreyis able to kill one of the Choker's grasping Leelan. That leaves him in the grip of just one.
The Choker, no longer fighting with another for its prize, attempts to move off to the north with Leelan... but Raqisat has now moved between them. The poor, stupid creature can't think straight enough to just lift Leelanover Raqisat, so instead it just holds on and hisses angrily at Raq.
This leaves the poor gnome fixed in place for more attackers. Two Chokers close in to grab the tasty little treat for themselves. Zap whirs to life, stepping in to defend against the first of these attackers.

But the second attacker comes in unimpeded, grabbing Leelanwith both arms.

Three of the remaining Chokers close in on Raqisat, as he seems distracted chasing after the little person. He is still protected by Leelan's magic, but some of that power seems to be waning as some of the Chokers at last get a hold of him.

Raqisat takes a total of 12 damage and is grappled and restrained by two tentacles... But even before that, as the Chokers close in on Raqisat he uses a superiority die to take a reaction and attack the first one that moves into 10' with his whip:
Radiant Whip Attack: 10to hit... Which doesn't, I'm sure, so reaction and superiority die wasted.
Raqisat is concerned about Leelan. He always seems to be the target and Raq just isn't sure how much of this the little guy can take. Raqisat focuses his attacks (at disadvantage) against the choker north of him who is grappling Leelan.
Radiant Whip Attack: (5 or 7) for 12 to hit... Bonus Action Scimitar Attack: (7 or 9) for 13to hit... still nope. On the plus side I am rolling so bad that disadvantage isn't really hurting me.

The situation becoming more and more desperate as the enemies have most of the team surrounded, Aubrey sends two more golden beams of eldritch crackling force streaking towards the weakened enemies.
Cosette purses her lips. That was enough playing around. She needed to be more efficient and effective. Cos reaches out to point ahead, her eyes narrow and she strides forward. Inhaling a deep breath, she'd wait patiently for one more to step it's way into range. "Plug yer ears Raq." Then, she'd snap, sending a sharp shattering noise to ring amongst the group of clingy boogers.
(Was kind of hoping for one or two more to clump together in hopes of catching as many of the foes (4-5?) in a group within range of the spell. Preferably without catching Raq, but if he has the earplugs might be okay.)
While Raq swings away and snaps his whip, the thick, spongy hides of these creatures resist his advances. Magic steps in where steel and rawhide fail, as another bolt from Aubrey and a thunderous blast from Cosettedrop four of the monsters. [Only one CON save would have mattered: 3].
After these attacks, Raqisat is no longer grappled and Leelanis only grappled by one of the monsters.
The floor and stairs of the Praetorium are now covered with the slimy, bleeding corpses of dozens of Chokers. The handful that remain press on, their hunger overriding any sense of self preservation.
