Grugga calls out, "empty in here - probably a study."As he's about to exit the room, he stomps on the rug to listen for a possible trap door. The old buildings in Raven's Hill often had the strangest entrances to the cellars, for some reason. He wonders if the architecture here shares that trait.
Assuming he doesn't find anything, he heads to the door just to the right of the staircase (lower left of the latest map) and checks it.
Rohuzarand Guilimtake note as Aubreyplays a few notes on the piano. It is in tune and seems brand new. Any expectation of secret doors opening or other excitement related to the piano are met with disappointment.

Furvus telepathically communicates that the border ethereal here is... lived in. He does his best to communicate an idea to you that doesn't have an analog in humanoid words. The best your brain can understand is that the borderlands between the material plane and the spirit realm in this parlor room are cluttered... like a midden heap or the trash dump of a primitive settlement. No ghosts here presently.
Leelanwalks down the main hallway, past the staircase up. He notes that the house feels empty. He can hear his allies back near the entrance but there are none of the sounds he might have expected or feared... not creaking floors or ghostly wailing.
The hallway ends at a closed door, ornately carved and trimmed. To his left is another hall that seems to head toward a kitchen and dining room. A different hall leads off to his right. There is another staircase up, and a passageway that must lead to the carriage house entrance

Peering around the corner, you can see that the dining room is dark, with the shades drawn tight. Your darkvision allows you to spot that the table is set for dinner service, with porcelain plates, bowls and fine silverware. This strikes you as passing strange since the house is not being used.

"It seems to be traces of ethereal activity here." Aubrey says to Rohuzar and Guilim. "Shall we continue?" He says and gets up from the piano, following Grugga and Leelan, making sure Furvus stays close. Perception: 17 Furvus perception: 8

Aubreymoves down the hall, an ethereal Furvus close behind.
Grugga:
The guest bathroom has a small sink with a gold-rimmed looking glass hanging on the wall behind it. As you pause to take in your reflection, you notice movement in the mirror over your shoulder. From the chamber pot behind you, a thin, dark form rises. Feminine in outline, but seemingly decayed and covered in barnacles and sea debris. The odor or week-old fish guts fills the room. The sea hag smiles at you, showing rows of shark-like teeth. As you make to scream, she holds a bony, webbed finger to her lips. "Shhhh!"
In that instant, your mouth disappears from your face, leaving only smooth skin between your nose and chin. The figure in the mirror laughs and disappears.
You are silenced and frightened for 1 minute. You can repeat the WIS save DC 15 at the end of each turn. On a success, the conditions end.
Rohuzar, you enter a small sitting room near the front of the house. The curtains here are drawn tightly closed. On the floor is a decorative, expensive looking rug. Two couches sit opposite a green leather upholstered rocking chair. Corner tables hold decorative wood carvings of geese.
Rohuzar:
Seeing nothing of interest, you turn to check the next room, when one of the geese statues is hurled of the table by an unseen attacker, right towards your back.
Attack: 14 Damage: 5
Leelan, the dining room looks immaculate. There is no trace of dust, and the settling look they could have just been put out by servers moments ago.
Leelan:
As you puzzle over the meaning of this, the plate at the head of the table (furthest from the door) lifts up like a flying saucer... then is flung by unseen hands right at your head!

Guilim:
As you linger behind in the gaming parlor, you hear the footsteps of your allies retreat from you deeper into the house. Preparing to follow, you take a step toward the door, when the hair on the back of your neck rises. You hear a low growl and turn. In the light from the glowing stone given you by Grugga, you see three sets of eyes moving in the dark room. The Wolf, the Tiger and the Black Bear mounts have animated, and they are advancing toward you with ill intent....

Aubrey hesitates for a quick moment before moving back to check on Guilim in the parlor. (Movement 5 squares west) As he sees the halfling being attacked by the now animated animals he swiftly curses the wolf (Hex, dex) and blasts it with a beam of golden eldritch force. "Gulim, behind you!" Eldritch blast: 16 Force: 6 Necrotic: 3 He also demands an update from Furvus regarding etheteal activity in the area.
Aubreylights up the wolf which had attacked Guilim. It vanishes into a cloud of black smoke, which drifts back across the room and reforms as the taxidermied wolf on its stand.
Rohuzarthrows open the curtains in the sitting room. 12
He still doesn't see where his attacker is located but he does here a ghostly wail when the room lights up. He can make an educated guess on the creature's location based on the sound. Rohuzarcan attack, at disadvantage.

Guilimslashes the stuffed tiger. It too vanishes in a puff of smoke, rematerializing back at the site of its original mount as an inert, taxidermy specimen. This leaves only the black bear as a threat in the parlor.
Meanwhile, in the Dining Room... Leelan, make a STR save against DC 15
On a failed save, Leelanis hurled by an unseen force. He is thrown 25ft east, through a closed door - knocking it off its hinges - and into the rear wall of this small room, taking 6 bludgeoning damage. On a successful save, Leelanresists the Telekinetic Thrust and stands his ground. Description of small room pending on failed save....
