Mordekai casts See Invisibility as the battle ends and takes a good look around. He calls back to Zendrak and the others, "Yes, the corridor continues off this room to the right, past the dragon."
Mal shoulder her crossbow as she dashes from dead gith to dead gith starting with the "leader", searching their body for any wealth and grabbing any of the more elaborate looking swords to be placed into the Bag of Holding that Kurik is carrying.
Kurik figure the half plate, and full plate, which is embedded with gems, is probably the most valuable items on the Gith. Only one of the finest silver swords is left, the other gith with them fled. Otherwise the blades are nice, but not worth much more than a standard two handed blade.

Kari bends over and rests a hand on her knee as she breathes carefully. "Maybe we can find a place to hole up for a bit, away from any more dragons." She straightens back up painfully and gets ready to continue down the hall.

Kurik looks about huffing and puffing realizing that the fight was over, at least for the moment. He takes a quick review of the Gith Ghost hovering and shimmering by him and just gives a nod of his head. He begins walking towards the dragon. "A bit of a rest would be preferrable, we can fix ourselves up, I can refocus my energies and our guide here can try discern the direction of them bones. In the mean time..." he says and looks over at the dragon. "I think it would be a waste not harvest some hide and scales from the slain beast. I hear the blood is worth a good deal and the hide and scales can be made into armors and shields."
The group has slain this group of Gith, but its very clear that their presence here has been noticed. Kurik figures it will take at least an hour of his time to do a good job scavenging scales from the dragon. Mal meanwhile has been prying gems out of armor as fast as she can. Kari meanwhile straightens herself up after a quick moment resting and heads down the tunnel to Mordekai.
Mordekai whispers a quick word of magic and glances around. He sees nothing hiding or invisible in the cave, to his relief. It would seem for the moment, the group is alone. The echoing screech of dragons occasionally run down the halls, and the sound of a particularly large screech once again vibrates through this strange location. Magical flames continue to alight upon crumbling sconces built into the walls here. He takes a few short strides to carry himself, and his globe of darkness, into the next room over where the flood of Gith came from. He spots fifteen wooden bunk beds arranged in three rows of five in the narrower portion of the room. Six round tables, each encircled by five chairs, stand in the wider area. Five of the tables have sets of dragon chess upon them, rather fine looking crystal pieces perched in various states of tactical positioning. Two hallways run from this room, one on the far side, and one to the left. Both hallways go about fifty feet and end in large steel doors. The heavy steel door at the end of the hallway to the left seems to have a heavy iron bar set next to the wall that looks like it can be lifted up to bar the door from opening in.
Glancing back at the body of the dragon, Mordekai sees Kurik place down his backpack, and apparently breaks out a knife with the intent to carve some portion of this body up. Kari stands nearby, looking quite tired. Mal is nowhere to be seen but occasionally a metallic clang comes from around the corner where she's busy at something.
Does anyone do anything else while Kurik goes about carving off enough dragon to make a shield?

Mordekai will ensure the door is barred, as quietly as possible. Then he'll go over and take a full set of the rather impressive dragon chess pieces and slip them into his rucksack (not the board, obviously).
Kari is a bit tense when the darkness moves over her, but relaxes a bit when she feels the magical relief wash through her. "Thanks, uh, Mordekai. That feels better. I think I'm still gonna rest for a bit, as long as I can." She will feel/walk her way over next to the dragon and sit down against the hallway wall.
Kari is leaning against the wall and glances over at the heavy bar. *Plink*, Mal pries another gem from a suit of armor. *rending tear* Kurik glances up as he carves a red scale off of the dead dragon. Zendrak shrugs and makes a move to escort Mordekai to the bar. Perhaps his power filled muscles will help. *scraaape scrape scrape* comes from the far end of the hallway that the group had previous come from. Something larges is making the noise from down the hallway. The group looks back. A creature that looks awkwardly squeezed into the ten foot wide hallway and that literally fills the end of the hallway with its extensive mass is crouched there. It is still over 120 feet away, but the red dragon that now fills the far end of the hallway you'd come from has its massive head and maw facing your way, its wings pinned up awkwardly to either side of it. A gutteral, grinding, clicking noise rises from the things throat as you glares at Kurik hacking at the dead dragon near you all.....a dead dragon that though seemed large, now looks considerably smaller. Burning malevolence fills the new dragons eyes.

The big dragon comes shuffling down the huge hallway all too quickly for Mal's liking, as she is the closest person to the dragon and besides her and Kurik none of the others are even in direct line of sight. If the thing decides to breath it will engulf both her and Kurik. The thing seems to want a different kind of revenge for the killing of its.....young sibling?....no...as the ancient beast gets closer, its obvious the adult dragon you've killed must have been it's offspring. Luckily it can't move fast enough to reach Mal.
Then it vanishes in a puff of black vapor.
Then it appears next to Mal with black smoke spraying about it. The black smoke vanishes in an instant, but the dragons maw and claws do not as the thing attacks.

Mal starts to swear as the dragon appears right in front of her and starts ripping into her flesh, bleeding from several huge rents in her torso, she backs away from the dragon bringing up her crossbow and fires it aiming at the creatures eyes. "Aww was that your baby behind me we killed, whatever, you can go and join it now."
BA: Disengage then moving back and around the corner.
Mal fires two bolts into the monster before her. The first bolt hits the creatures plated eyebrow and goes spiraling off into the air. The second strikes the creature in the cheek as it turns its head, and embeds itself into its face between two heavy plates. The dragon hisses in displeasure.
Kurik looks behind him as Mal dodges past him and the dragon he's carving up, leaving only him directly facing the huge beast.

lol Never mind, then. The first description said it looked like it could be lifted in place to bar the door.
In that case, Mordekai will suggest to the others that if we want to take a moment here, we might consider collectively barring the door.
