As the wave washes across them, a mass of sticky red strands seems to form across Zendrak, sticking him to the ground. Mordekai and Kari though both feel the wave wash through them, magic energy warping their very senses. Something has changed within them.....
Mordekai:
Mordekai, can now cast Faerie Fire once per long rest, as a spell-like ability requiring no components.

Kari gains 7 HP's permanently.
Nothing apparent happens to Auril or the undead.
As the fire from the blasts eats away at the disturbance, one of its tentacles is severed. It drops from the air and evaporates into the ether before it can touch the ground. The thing is down to 3 tentacles.

Finally seeing someone who he knows for certain is an enemy, Mordekai casts Hex (at 1st level) on Auril, and unleashes a trio of his purple Eldritch Blasts.

Mordekai casts his spell, and focus' on the crystal, unleashing three blasts of magic, but two deflect off harmlessly, only one striking the crystal for good damage.
The last undead on the field shivers at the wave of magic that passes through it. It glances down at the dead body of two of its companions. He bends down, picks up the steel staff now on the ground, and casts a spell....muttering a few arcane words. The Lich nearby mutters, "I'm afraid not this time Ruin." A counterspell is woven lightning fast...the Lich weaving his own counterspell to counter it...****y to have one of the Thayan mages weave a counterspell. The exchange of magic is quick, and there are arcs of purple lightning and flashing motes of light that spray from the area between all of them before eventually....nothing happens and the last undead is left standing there still. He looks up, "Our master will have choice words for you..." hisses Ruin. The Thayan Lich shrugs, "He is not my master."
With that, the Kenku emerges from the shadows to one side of the Lich, his blade slashing forward like a viperous snake. As the blade strikes, wispy shadowy forms seem to accompany the strike, clawing at the undead along with the blade.

Icy cold lashes back at the Kenku, stinging him, but he endures it with silence as he stands before his foe. The undead staggers at the well placed blow to it's spine, but still stands.
Kurik, you are stunned for your turn, but at the end of your turn, make a Charisma DC 21 save. If you make, you break free of the crystal and can appear anywhere within 30 feet of it. If you fail, you take 13 cold damage.
The Thayan warrior charges the undead to join the combat with the Kenku, attacking the undead creature.
The Thay warrior smashes the undead with his blade a couple of times, each blow drawing whisps of energy from the creature. The undead is still alive, barely.

Thinking to herself, Do I stay in the shadows or take my opportunity now, as she sees the Thayan Lich leave the bubble, Well, no time like the present, as she brings her crossbow up to her cheek aims at the lich and fires.
H. Crossbow1: Attack: 27 Damage: 17 Necrotic Damage: 7

Sneak Attack on 1st hit: 8

And then Mal will move 25' west and then 5' north (sort of hiding around the corner) and will use her BA to hide again.

Mal aims carefully. Thanks to the curvature of the 50 foot across sphere, she can spot the Thayan Lich on the far side, just past the stand. She slides to one side, lifts the crossbow to her cheek, and fires.
To the Thayans, two crossbow bolts come out of nowhere and slam into the Thayan Lich. The first cracks off his cheek, sending him stumbling, then the second slams into a thigh and he topples to the ground in shock. His Thayan contingent almost as one turn to face the direction of the shots.
Mal thinks she's found cover from the Lich, but the two wizards and one of the warriors has eyes on her and she's unable to fully hide from them.
One of the Thay Wizards growls and casts a spell. Nothing apparent happens, but he seems satisfied and turns back to the battle.
The disturbance meanwhile continues to lash out at those on the battlefield. One tentacle reaches out and slams in to crystal, while another slams into Zendrak, and one swings at the other undead.
Attack on Ruin: 15 Damage: 12 + 20

The other Thayan warrior rushes into combat with Ruin. (dash action)
The tentacles of the strange magical disturbance wreak havoc on the battle. The first smashes into the final undead, Ruin, and crushes him into the ground with a cracking thud. A crushed pile of bones is all that is left. One lashes out and strikes the Crystal, sending chunks of hard icy rock flying. The third slams harshly into Zendrak sending him tumbling into a roll and looking back at the thing with a new found respect.
Zendrak looks at the remains of the three undead, nods with satisfaction, then looks at the whorling disturbance. With a shout he runs and leaps...and just keeps flying upwards as he strikes out with his blade. Attack: 29 Damage: 16 + 22
Zendrak's blade is awash in black lightning. The blade slashes through the disturbance without effect, but the lightning at least seems to crackle and eat away at the thing.
Auril floats there...she continues to speak out into everyone's minds, "The ancients die and soon the living as well, I shall destroy you all!"
A spray of ice erupts from the crystal and washes across most of the battlefield.
Mordekai, Zendrak, the Kenku, both Thayan Knights, Kari and the disturbance get struck by the wave of ice. DC 21 Con save. 28 cold damage, save for half.

Kari is looking wounded and briefly curses magic users under her breath. Why can't they just fight like normal folk do? Seeing the arrows flying at the lich and the reaction of the others she knows she needs to do something. She moves to get to the north of the knight and takes a few Reckless swings at him before backing farther away in the direction that the arrows came from.

Kari gets blasted by the cold. Frost still covering half her body and face, drips of melt falling from her icy cheek, she moves over, her glaive reaching out and slashing three times at one of the Thayan knights. All three slash into the creature who stumbles as blood splatters the ground. He waves his longsword lazily in her direction, clearly hurt and stunned by her attack, as she rushes past to near the sphere.
Mordekai meanwhile blinks out of existence as the ice sprays across him.
The Thay Lich stands up, glancing around and not seeing its attacker. He casts a spell. He glares up at the spray of ice from the crystal and unleashes a blast of fire, then another at the icy crystal.

The knight chases after Kari. Unable to keep up to the raging barbarian though, he has to run to catch her. As he closes in, she slams her glaive into him. 4 additional damage for crit. (he dashes for his turn to get to Kari)
Mordekai, you become visible on the north side of the sphere. Your action.
The two blasts of fire hit the icy crystal with deadly effect. The crystal seems to glow briefly from the two blasts, and then explodes into bits of ice. The bits of ice clatter to the floor, and then reform together in a moment, growing up into the figure of an icy woman, with spikes of ice all over her. Auril growls, "You die for this!"
As the crystal exploded, so too did Kurik's prison, and seems to fall and grow all at once and flops to the ground nearby, shaking himself free of his magical imprisonment.

Seeing Kurik freed from the icy prison, Mordekai uses a bonus action to grant Kurik a d8 Bardic Inspiration. (I think both Kurik and Mal both have a d8 available to them to add to a single attack roll, ability check or saving throw - don't think Mal used the earlier one yet?)
And then seeing that piling damage on to Auril seems to be making a difference, Mordekai will continue with the barrage of Eldritch Blasts at her.

Mordekai, his back near a side wall, flings magic at the demigod. Unfortunately this most recent form seems to be harder, his bolts of magic strike her and fly off without affect.
The Kenku meanwhile runs up the air itself, floating and seemingly becoming hazy and insubstantial...and takes a stab at huge disturbance before him.
As the Kenku strikes out at the magical disturbance, a large mass of it seems to evaporate as the spirits around the kenku lash out and consume the thing. More spirits lash out at Zendrak and he abruptly vanishes.

Kurik shakes his head but grips his flaming sword. He raises his head to look at Auril, a god or demi-god or something quite powerful... Figuring that he was probably going to die by her hand today. He'd at least try to make it easier for the others to finish the job. He pointed his sword towards her and said, "It's time to thaw your heart...with my blade." He hexed the the goddess and stood up and prepared for the strike.
